WOLF LODGE CAMPGROUND We are a people-oriented campground located just east of beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene in North Idaho, with creek access to the lake. Whether you are a family or only one person, we are here to make your stay at Wolf Lodge Campground an enjoyable occasion. Come and relax in this beautiful, fun, and friendly environment. We are surrounded by mountains in a wooded setting. Our RV sites are shaded and grassy with spacious long-level pull-thru and nice private back-in sites up against the mountain. All of our tent sites are grassy, many are shaded by the creek. We have five unique rustic cabins, each with its own special features. Whether you are just passing through or planning to visit for a week or two, we invite you to "Come on By"... We are looking forward to hosting you and making your stay with us a memorable one! There are many fun complimentary activities available and many things to do right at the campground or within a very short distance. We offer canoe and kayak rentals for a relaxing paddle down the creek, which meanders through some very pretty scenery all the way out to the lake. A large grassy playground is available for children of all ages, and a fully fenced doggy park for the 4 legged ones. We also set up and host a nightly group campfire for roasting s'mores, or just visiting with your fellow campers. Check out our amenities listed below: Spacious grassy area for various games such as lawn bowling, corn hole, soccer, etc. Fenced-in dog park A unique camp store that offers groceries, snacks, ice cream, sodas, souvenirs, gifts, supplies, firewood, and ice (no alcohol or tobacco) Nightly group campfire (weather permitting), where you can enjoy making s'mores or bring a cocktail and socialize with other campers Private campfires are available only at tent sites and tent trailer sites; propane fire pits are allowed at RV sites. Recently renovated and expanded restrooms and showers, which are very clean and ADA-compliant. Free Wi-Fi is available, with a good signal at most sites (not recommended for streaming TV). Good satellite signal at most sites, but no cable hookups. Playground for the younger kids. The covered pavilion is available for family gatherings. Horseshoe pits, shuffleboard, and volleyball court. Laundry room with new front-loading machines. Lake Coeur D'Alene is located within 2 miles of the campsite. Swimming is allowed in the creek, but there is no lifeguard on duty. Fishing is allowed in the creek, but it is catch-and-release only. Rentals are available for canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, float tubes, three-wheeled fun cycles, and a Bayliner Capri speed boat for lake fun.

Basic site for camping. We were just there over night. Nice laundry facility. $2.50 per wash and .50c for 10 minutes to dry. If you do not have a full hook up site, there is a dump station on site.

Very clean and beautiful and showers were AMAZING!! Even smells really good inside the bathrooms. Yes would stay again!

Osprey Perch Cabin Max. 2A/2-4 C
Wolf Lodge was a very central location and a nice RV park. We had a couple hiccups at first (the grass around the cabin had not been mowed for quite a while) but the management team stepped up and took care of our concerns quickly. The only criticisms were the floor of the cabin could’ve been cleaner, and there were a lot of dead bugs inside but everything else seemed clean and it was comfortable once we got everything plugged in. There’s no shower in the cabin, but the camp showers are very clean and nice. Overall, I’d recommend if you’re looking for a rustic campground experience!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The ease of checking-in when arriving late is soooo nice! The hosts are super nice and helpful. The campground, bathrooms, and showers are clean. We stayed during summer and the grass is green and shade plenty. We will be staying here more in the future. We like that it is near hiking trails, fishing, and town for needed supplies and shopping!

This is a very friendly and clean RV Park. The downside for us was that the spaces are very close together. Also the camp itself is very close to the highway. Easy off to the campground and easy to get back on. This can be considered a pro and con, because along with the pro, you definitely hear the highway traffic noise.

Camping with lots of extras

H01 Tent Trailer Site - Water & 30 AMP - 15ft
We were able to find a spot for our cabover camper quickly and easily. We had a site with both electric and water which allowed us to use our air conditioner without needing the generator ( which aren't allowed). There is everything at this camp you could want. A small store with cold drinks and ice, assorted ice cream treats, and a few easy prep meal ideas. They also sell firewood. They have great family activities. Canoe and kayak rentals or tubes to float on the adjacent creek, a play fort with swings, slide and a climbing wall for the kids and even a group bonfire at night for everyone to come and enjoy. The cons : There are close to 100 sites on the property, between tents, pull through trailers and very large motor homes. The sites are directly next to each other. The second con is that the property is right next to I90 so there is constant highway noise. We have a well insulated camper and ran our air conditioner all night, so we barely noticed the noise while inside, but I did feel bad for those sleeping in tents literally a few feet from the interstate. Pros : Extremely convenient access, very friendly and helpful hosts, lots of amenities available, and very clear rules and expectations for quiet time and camp behavior. Also have laundry and showers as well as nearby restaurant. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Good cabin

This was the last stop on our 8 day camping trip. We rented the Deer Lodge. Had a bit of a mishap with getting our keys as the check in was closed, but Beth was able to help us out. The cabin was a perfect size for our family of 4. The fire pit and picnic table right outside the door were handy. The dish washing station was great. Only thing that wasn’t so great was the amount of wasps around the front door.

We checked in and quickly left and found a better camp. The spot was soooooo small maybe, fire ring is half in the road, no parking for your cars on your site. We paid extra for two cars at no point did they say your cars won’t fit or need overflow parking. It was like staying in a Walmart parking lot. Smallest camp site ever. We found a site nearby on Hip camp lass money right on water with private 100 yard camp site. Live and learn but this camp wasn’t for us.

Great place for kids, playground, dog park, canoe/kayak rentals for the creek. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were clean and had good availability. The little camp store has essentials which is convenient. Staff were very nice. As others have mentioned, it’s right along the highway, so it is noisy. We tent camped and if you don’t mind “white noise” it was reasonable.

I loved this camp ground & our tent site. Even though our spot was next to a large camper site which held a reunion it was very pleasant. That group was very respectful and where quite after the 10pm time frame. Everything was very clean including the bathrooms & showers. The price was well worth it! They even had a band that played at the camp ground and food truck and shaved ice stand. Our two little dogs loved the dog park too! We'd recommend and will stay there again.

Everything was seamless. Easy to find, clean campsite, easy river access. Was nice to have extra amenities, like running water, showers, toilets, laundry too. You can definitely hear some of the freeway noise, but it’s really not too bad.

I would recommend it as an overnight spot. Easy access off the interstate. However, because of the easy access there is the traffic noise. Limited spots with shade. Staff were very friendly.

Pros: Clean bathroom/shower facilities, ice and firewood for sale on site, lots of play opportunities for kids, nearby stainless steel camp sinks, tent sites with their own potable water and 30 amp electrical Cons: Tent sites were pretty small, occasional sewage smell (couldn’t figure out if the smell was nearby standing water, possible RVer with improper sewer hookup, septic tanks, etc?), there should be more shower/bathroom stalls for such a packed campground

We stayed in the eagles nest Pros Beautiful spot Up out of the way, on the mountain. Trees and bushes provide a broken live barrier giving the illusion of being secluded. The camp ground is well maintained. Spot is close to bathroom (real toilets) Cons The spot is up some Ill-set stone stairs, so you have to park far away in the parking lot and haul your gear across camp ground and up the off-set stairs. The noise from the highway is obnoxious and persists all night. We were in a tent so there was no blocking out the roar of the vehicles This spot also does NOT have electricity available like the other spots in the camp grounds

Different strokes for different folks. Good: lots of activities for young children, great showers, all perfectly maintained. Less good: on a major highway, so constant noise, no room between sites, no hiking . A motorcycle club only needed police called once while we were there, which i guess could happen anywhere.

Staff was great! They were understanding of us arriving later than planned. Showers and bathrooms were clean, and site was well maintained. We didn't participate in the additional offerings (kayak rental, solo stove rentals, etc.) due to time, but it's really cool they offered them. The group camp area was a little louder than we would have liked due to a larger group - but the rendition of Wonderwall by the dude with the guitar wasn't TERRIBLE. ;). Overall, would definitely stay here again.

Super well-appointed campground! Like a national park but way friendlier and with much more amenities and activities. Really nice bathrooms and showers. We arrived late but they kindly laid out our check-in materials for us to pick up upon arrival. Only thing to note is proximity to the highway & noise at night but I slept fine with earplugs. Thank you Wolf Lodge staff!!

Our spot was so far from the bathroom/shower and quite tilted. Couldn’t get our tent trailer level. Picnic table too small. For the price, I probably wouldn’t come there again. Way too close to the freeway and very loud. Didn’t sleep well due to freeway noise. I did like that the outhouses didn’t smell terrible and the wash sink was very handy.
