Green Acres Ranch A Place of Beauty
Cindy’s place at Green Acres was fantastic! We had plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy connecting as a family. We roasted marshmallows around the fire, watched shooting stars with stories at night and slept peacefully without anything more than the sound of an occasional train. The kids all loved feeding Ben carrots, catching crickets, swimming just down the road, ice cream in town. Cindy was a fantastic host with a plethora of suggestions for fun things to do and when our tent stakes got a bit carried away one day while we were out and about they secured our tent. All of it added to the memories I’m sure won’t be forgotten. The kids are already planning our return!

Time Machine Get-Away
Highly recommend staying at the Time Machine or any of the other accommodations Cindy & Mark offer! They’re very kind, flexible, laid back & gracious hosts who go the extra mile for folks visiting their property. They’re respectful of privacy & also eager to help as needed. This tiny camper has nearly everything a single person traveling with a dog would need for short- or longer-term stays — in particular the AC (a true life saver during the August heat wave), gas stove, mini fridge, cooking utensils, strong AT&T 5G service, etc. Cindy provides a welcome packet with info on the town & is in the know on local happenings. Pictures don’t do the swimming hole justice & area hiking is amazing. Lots of waterfalls! As others mentioned, a train does roll through town a few times a day but I found it charming! It didn’t wake me up or interrupt Zoom calls I was on inside the trailer. I would definitely stay here again if passing through the area in the future :)

Hidden gem
Great location. Peaceful atmosphere. Clear instructions and great communication. Great views. Thoughtful amenities and great advice for things to do in the area. You can hear the falls in the distance and if you’re sensitive to train whistles just bring some ear plugs. We would stay here again!

Green Acres Ranch A Place of Beauty
Gorgeous campground, walk to town
This place was BEAUTIFUL! We had the whole space to ourselves, but it was definitely big enough that even if it was full there was plenty of privacy. There are electrical outlets by the portapotty. We got to stay in the teepee, which was lovely treat. Cindy came out to greet us, gave us a map, and lots of suggestions of local activities. There is a lovely 20 minute walk to the historic bridge and a small island with a trail and benches. Amazing views - especially around dusk. You can also walk into a small town where there is a great coffee shop with GIANT cinnamon rolls. Thanks, Cindy, for pointing us that direction!

Green Acres Ranch Meadow
Ranch Camping
We really enjoyed our one night stay here on Cindy's ranch. She was very welcoming and it was easy to find the campsite with her clear directions. Very family friendly. And plenty of good water to drink and wash up with. There is a train track not very far away that went a few times through the night, which I actually enjoyed hearing. Thompson falls dam is a beautiful attraction that is only a few minutes away..
