Lakeview Majesty

One of the greatest camping experiences I’ve had. The property is beautiful up on the hillside over looking the lake, the grounds are immaculate, Albert has built an amazing full bathroom with a nice tile shower for campers, and best of all were the hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming and great to chat with. They gave me a better stay than I could have asked for at the end of the season with chilly weather. My dogs were living their best lives here watching the wildlife and exploring the land. Thanks Albert! We will definitely be back!

We trailer camped for 2 nights in Site #2- it was perfect! Al was a very gracious host- the property is super clean and has a gorgeous view of the lake. We enjoyed a walk on the property and an afternoon of birding nearby sites. We plan to come back next year!

Beautiful location, very roomy sites, clean and very nice shower/restrooms. The owner and staff are extremely friendly, interesting and helpful. We had a great stay and beautiful walks with our dogs!

This spot is a little gem and I’m hesitant to leave a great review because I want it all to myself!!! Stunning view, clean campsite and beautiful bathroom. Albert was quick to answer even though he was out of town. He stopped by with his lovely wife for a meet & greet. Highly recommend this lovely site. 💕

Site 6-Scenic Views w/ Water Access

Beautiful and peaceful. We loved our stay here and would likely have wanted to stay longer if we could. The setting with the lake view is lovely. Having electric and water was nice and the space was roomy. We were camping next to our friends and it was perfect proximity. Saw some beautiful deer pass through and the lake is amazing. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful views and super friendly hosts. The location is close to town and provides super easy access to the lake. Bathroom and entire property were super clean. I wish I could have stayed longer, don't miss out!

I think this is one of the nicest places I have ever camped! The hosts were so kind and accommodating- the grounds beautifully maintained and the view was amazing! Can’t wait to go back next year ❤️ The new bathroom was a plus with a very nice shower 😊

We really enjoyed our time at Albert’s place. It was very peaceful with beautiful views. The lake is a close drive with wonderful swimming. Albert made us feel very welcome and safe.

Would recommend this campsite to everyone. Albert accepted my friend and I’s stay very last minute. There were other families staying at this campsite all of whom were very welcoming and super helpful ( one couple even helped us pitch up our tents) Albert was super helpful! He helped us set up our campfire and chatted with us for a while. The bathroom is a 10/10 there’s a porta potty that doesn’t smell and is clean and a separate bathroom with a full toilet and shower. This campsite is awesome and has beautiful views. Thanks again! - Cas & Sydney

Albert’s property is beautiful. Very spacious with wooded areas to explore. It was very peaceful. The spot we had, we opened our door and had beautiful lake views. Albert and his wife were very welcoming. Our dog enjoyed all the walking paths. The hook ups were convenient to our site. This place has interesting history. It is part of a land grant from the late 1880s, so the owners are grandchildren of the original homesteaders. The gorgeous lakeview is the best part. The bathroom was under repair during our visit so this was a disappointment. I wish we were notified in advance. There is no easily walkable access to the lake. I definitely would recommend this place if you’re looking for a scenic and peaceful retreat.

Beautiful views, bees, no WiFi

Beautiful views of lake, nice shower/bathroom. Albert let us move closer to the lake view/ further from the house (sites 1 and 2) are right next to his house, a permanent RV, and saw mill. We enjoyed overlooking a horse pasture and having more privacy/quiet further from house. AT T cell did not work and site’s WiFi did not work which meant we had to drive down the road if we needed to contact anyone- including the host. Lots of bees. Could not eat outside.

Great lake view and quiet at night. I stayed there to mountain bike at Schweitzer and swim in the lake. There were nice grassy sites even though it has been dry. Nice shower and restroom.

Site 6-Scenic Views w/ Water Access

The camping atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for after many days on the road. The view of Lake Pend O’reiile is also stunning. The owner’s Al and Sue were helpful and personable. Be advised if pulling a trailer, even a small 20’ model like ours, 4W drive to get up the hill into the camp is a must. Thanks for a great stay.

We loved tent camping here! Albert was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and answered our questions about the area. The bathroom and shower were really nice, and we loved waking up to see deer and turkeys in the mornings. We hope to come back here next time we're in the area!

The camp sights are excellent, we had a fabulous view of the lake. Our hosts Albert was very gracious. The bathroom facilities were excellent very well done and we felt very comfortable here and will definitely go back.

Albert’s property was beautiful and well maintained. Amazing views of the lake and a beautiful field with horses next door. Albert met us on arrival and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We plan to stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Albert, Sue and their friend Les were so great. They made us feel so welcome on their property. They greeted us as we drove in, helped us start a campfire, and they were available the entire time if we needed anything. This property is a gem and has stunning views. I highly recommend!
