Relax by the Water at Big Twin Lake Resort Nestled on the shores of Big Twin Lake in sunny Okanogan County, our resort is just three miles south of Winthrop, WA—close to town, yet perfectly peaceful. This is a site or camping cabin located within our 50 acre camping resort. Big Twin Lake Resort offers a quiet, relaxing getaway with easy access to the area's natural beauty. Big Twin is a renowned fly-fishing lake, stocked annually and ideal for both seasoned anglers and beginners. Spend your days casting a line, exploring nearby hiking and biking trails, or simply soaking up the views. Our resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and outdoor fun. Kids and adults alike will love spending time on the water with our rowboats, pedal boats, and paddle boards, all available for rent. These basic camping cabins are ideal for small families, couples, or solo travelers seeking a comfortable stay close to nature. Each cabin is thoughtfully equipped with one queen-size bed and a set of twin bunk beds, accommodating up to four guests. Inside, you’ll find essential amenities including a mini fridge, microwave, desk and chair, as well as heating and a table fan to keep you comfortable in any season. Outdoors, guests can relax on the porch swing or enjoy meals at the picnic table, with a private fire ring perfect for evening campfires. The cabins are conveniently located just a short walk from restroom facilities and are also near the playground, making them a great option for families. Please note that bedding and towels are not provided, so guests should bring their own. Each cabin includes electricity, basic furnishings, and cleaning essentials such as a garbage can, broom, and dustpan. Both pet-friendly and pet-free options are available. Rates start at $95 per night with a minimum two-night stay. The booking includes two adults and one vehicle, with no extra charge for children under 18.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at the cabin! Jessica was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. The campground is very kept. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the mornings with coffee. It is a very cute little place and we would definitely stay again!

Pretty solid stay. We had a big huge grassy area all to ourselves for our dogs. The showers were OK. It could be a little cleaner and the water pressure could be a little better but they were fine. The location was close to Winthrop or easy access to restaurants and pubs.

what a perfect little stop for me and my pup. super close to north cascade national park. it was really clean and the land is beautiful. we were lucky enough to have a spot with no one else around us. would def stay here again!

Great place to stay close to Winthrop and Mazama! There was plenty of space for our tent and a picnic table at every site. Bathrooms were kept clean and a flushable toilet was a nice touch!

Big Twin Lake Resort was great! It was very open, perfect for some stargazing, and had nice views of the mountains. The host was great, very responsive, the bathrooms were clean, and there was fast cell phone service :D Would definitely recommend!

Great cabin in a quiet campground with amazing views and a cute swing on the porch to enjoy. Bathrooms are right next door (bring quarters) and the place was very clean and tidy. Really enjoyed my evening here and will be back!

Excellent place to stay. We had a great time. Having showers and restrooms was great. Staff was super friendly. We recommend it. Only issue we noticed was on the dock, for some reason its separating in the middle and will pop up without warning was a little scary because we tripped on it while carrying a paddle board to the water.

Huge site amongst the trees!

We booked last minute to escape the western WA August rain (an atmospheric river? In August?? So strange). Luckily it was nice and sunny in Winthrop and we got a wonderful spot amongst the pine trees. Pine hollow in particular was a fantastic campsite, huge and pretty private. We didn't have any immediate neighbors, but even if we had, our site had surrounding bushes tall enough to hide our tent from view (at least when coming back from the bathroom). We had a lovely view of the surrounding hills and a bit of the lake, and it really wasn't too long of a walk. The stargazing was excellent! It's been a long time since I've seen the milky way, and when the moon eventually rose it was so bright I felt like I could have walked to the bathroom without a flashlight. Lovely experience all around, and we definitely want to come back and stay longer! Would have loved to make use of the boat and/or paddle board rental had we been there longer.

I really liked this campsite. Out of the way, quiet, secluded. Even if there were other campers out there, the spots were spread out enough that it wouldn’t feel cramped. Very pretty and easy to find.

Beautiful spot with a gorgeous area for viewing the lake. I would honestly call it a large pond. It would be great for kids to swim but as a paddle boarder, it was only nice for a float around. Not a lot of distance to be had.

I loved tent camping in this location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very beautiful views and is in the perfect spot to visit Winthrop and Twisp! Will be definitely be coming back!
