My bf and I celebrated our anniversary this November at Joy's cabin. At first I considered moving our trip to the spring, but I *so loved* being in the wind and rain in a cozy cabin indoors. The remote location is absolutely magical. I would definitely try to get to the cabin before dark; barring that, make sure to have multiple offline versions of the directions: 1) Google Maps directions and map screenshots to the destination, and 2) Joy's written directions. She was very proactive and communicative via satellite phone when we were lost at night. Thanks again Joy for trusting us with your family's private home.

The campsites are spaced out, the bathroom is clean, the views were amazing, and the starry skies were breathtaking. The Klickitat site is a little less private due to topography, but the cacophony of coyotes and cows was incredible.

Gorgeous views, cozy tent. Lovely, caring hosts. You can't have open wood fires in the Methow valley, but the hosts have provided a gas fueled fire pit so you can sit around a fire under the stars. You can hike up to a stunning view of the mountains and the hills. It was heavenly.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot. So cozy and exactly what my soul needed that weekend. I loved watching the coyotes retreat to their dens in the morning, the raven that constantly visited the fence post, the sagebrush and rattling wind. The tent had EVERYTHING. I didn’t need half of what I packed. Amazing people who were wonderful communicators despite the service. I will absolutely be back here over and over again.

Super sweet couple; and the land/view is amazing. I misunderstood the RV site situation and kinda booked the wrong one but they were accomading and helped fix it. The property is so peaceful and we even walked down the road to see the cows and sunset. We would love to come back with a group since they have spots all backed up to another and you could have a nice community fire. 💛 thank you for a wonderful stay!

Really lovely cabin! Cozy, comfortable, and super easy to settle into with everything you need on hand. Perfect spot to relax and recharge. Putting water through the filter worked out perfectly, the stove was nice and cozy, and even the cows made for some entertaining "wildlife" viewing!

Weekend Trip to Silverline Lakeside Resort

Big campsite with great views and lots of tables and fire pits. I was under the impression it was just a big field that was a free for all, but it was in fact an actual campground with all the things you need. We camped here for a night after all the first come first serve campsites near Maple Loop Trail were taken up. It was about 45 min away. I would love to come back in summer and actually hang in the lake and stay at the campsite longer to explore the area.

Pretty solid stay. We had a big huge grassy area all to ourselves for our dogs. The showers were OK. It could be a little cleaner and the water pressure could be a little better but they were fine. The location was close to Winthrop or easy access to restaurants and pubs.

Nirvana gardens is at 3000 feet in the North Cascades of Washington. It is 140 acres with a private lake. You will have access to hundreds of acres of roaming with your own private lake. Trail run, hike, Mountain Bike, lake swim, or just sit, meditate, and read a book on the cedar dock watching the sun sets. Nirvana is available in winter with certain requirements. Please message before booking to get a list of the requirements for winter months October 20th to April 1st. I had been searching for over 2 years for a property where I could make a difference in the environment and live in the wilderness. I was looking for water on a large tract of land that was remote. In 2017 I found the perfect property and to my dismay it had sold 2 days before I saw the listing. I was shocked because this was the perfect property. In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property. It had a private lake with fish. A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower. The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast. It was beautifully treed with just the right amount of open meadow and forest with Hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and Larch. How could this property be sold? I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year. After a year and a half had passed and my search continued I came across an advertisement for this magical property, it was up for sale again. I called the real estate agent immediately and found that an offer had been made but the buyers could not commit for 5 more months. I made an offer that day not really knowing how I was going to pull off the money. I knew this property was meant for me. I wrote the owner a letter explaining that I was a land steward and that this land would never be developed. I would be putting it in a land trust where no developers could put up condos. The owner happened to be a environmentally focused human and he ended up selling to me. Come to find out when I had first saw the property sold a year and a half before, that transaction had fallen through. The owner had just taken it off the market for the winter. You will absolutely love the magic of Nirvana Gardens. The quiet, the wild animals, the crystal clear lake, clean air, and relaxing healing atmosphere of the ultimate nature bath.

Dispersed camping in "The Field" can be booked through HipCamp, all other sites within the campground must be booked through our direct website. Please note the following about The Field: The Field is exactly that - a large, open, grassy field. There are no shade trees so it is recommended that you bring your own shade, if you desire any. The Field does not have any lighting - it is recommended that you do not arrive after dark. The Silverline Resort is a no generator park, however we do allow generators to be used in The Field, but they must be turned off during quiet hours (10pm - 8am). All external noise devices must also be turned off during these hours. Fires are allowed until Washington State or Okanogan County issue their annual summer burn ban. It is a different date each season, feel free to email the day before your stay to check if one has been issued for your dates. Please book 1 site per tent or trailer. If you have more than one tent or trailer please book additional sites. These sites are dispersed and are first come first served. Assigned tent/RV sites within our campground must be booked through our direct website - they can not be booked through HipCamp. Each site can accommodate up to 4 adults in the same tent/trailer, and up to 4 children in the same tent/trailer. Additional adults or tents/trailers need to book an additional site. There is a port-a-potty located in the field, the bathhouse and showers are located inside the campground. Our showers are quarter operated with a cost of $1.50/five minutes. The closest cell service can be obtained 20 miles away in either the town of Tonasket or Republic. That said, wi-fi calling on most cell phones work just fine.
