Relaxing and quiet area to spend some time. My kids loved the pond and the paddle boat. Easy to relax and enjoy the day here. The river is beautiful but was high and fast (in June). We would like to go back later in the season to see it when the river is lower. Be prepared for mosquitoes during the evening and early mornings.

Amazing!!! Jenn and Chris were the best hosts, not to mention the cute dogs! Welcome cookies were delicious. View was unbeatable. Had a wonderful time, wished we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful, peaceful property. Definitely can accommodate large RVs with no issue. Campsites have a nice firepit with benches and a couple chairs, and a nice sturdy picnic table. Brynn was available when needed, and very responsive. Otherwise we were just able to chill on our own. My family lives nearby and came to hang out and my preteen nephews enjoyed the pedal boat on the pond. Tons of space to walk around, and play outdoor games. It is Thorp, so expect breezy days (there is a reason why they have windmills on the ridge above the river). Also the camp is next to the Yakima River, a pond, and some small creeks, so be prepared for mosquitos. They were very happy for fresh skin when we first arrived and were getting set up. Brynn was kind to drop by a mini bug zapper and some spray. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks, Brynn and Bob!

Weekend Trip to Sasquatch Villa

This was my first experience with Hipcamp, and I'm sold! Chris and Jennifer were quick to respond my questions even before I booked, which I appreciated. The directions to Stagecoach and the map that they provided were extremely helpful. The road to get to the site is marked as primitive, and it can feel scary to less experienced campers (me!), but I towed my 21-foot travel trailer with my Jeep Grand Cherokee up and down the mountain with no issues. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We did hear some music and noise from the site just above ours the first night, but after that, it was serene. We saw quail, deer, and heard a coyote, so if you have a nervous and reactive dog (me!), be aware you will see wildlife. I had her on a lead for the duration of the trip. The sunsets were amazing. There is no shade at this particular site, so be mindful of that in hot, sunny weather. We had no issues with the hookups and appreciated the rocking chairs and propane fire pit. It was a perfect place to sit in the morning and the evening. We walked our dog up and down the mountain road and got to take a peek at the other sites in Sasquatch Villa, and must say, whichever you choose you can't go wrong. My only complaint is that when folks don't obey the speed limit on the dirt road (10 mph), it kicks up a bunch of dust into the site, but Chris and Jennifer can't control how fast or slow folks choose to drive.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Hillside Camp

My partner and I had such a a wonderful time at Loowit. Kellie's land was beautiful and there were some cows across the fence that were super cute. It's a steep drive up to the site but parking down below if your car can't make it. Luckily I had all wheel drive though and my car did just fine. Kellie left a cooler with some drinks in it and the canvas tent was so cozy, clean, and beautiful. It made me want one for myself some day! There was a camp stove provided and a pit toilet nearby. Since it's on a hill it catches a lot of the wind, but it was honestly very peaceful to sleep to the sound. It's only about an hour and a half away from Chelan so we made a day trip there, but there were lots of things to explore in the area. It was so so much fun and we'd love to come back some day!

Masabaje Camp

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Established in 1952 with the support of the Cashmere Chamber of Commerce and local Granges, the Expo Center has transformed from its humble beginnings into a vibrant hub for community events and gatherings. Over the years, the Expo Center has undergone significant enhancements, thanks to increased county funding and the commitment of local commissioners. Today, it features a variety of versatile buildings, including the Pavilion, our largest venue at 24,000 square feet, which hosts a diverse range of events throughout the year. In addition to our event spaces, the Expo Center offers an inviting RV camping area with 140 full-service hookup sites, complete with restroom and shower facilities. Our fully fenced park is open from April through October, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for visitors. With its proximity to stunning natural features, swimming holes, and a variety of outdoor activities, as well as nearby restaurants and shops, the Chelan County Expo Center is the perfect location for your next event or getaway.

Experience the charm of our campground, where nature meets convenience with 163 full hook-up sites designed for RV enthusiasts. Each site offers essential amenities, including water, electric, and sewer hook-ups, accommodating RVs up to 40 feet in length. For those who prefer a more rustic experience, we provide 22 designated Tent-Only sites, complete with 16 by 16 tent pads, allowing campers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the great outdoors under the stars. Our campground is equipped with picnic tables, a convenient dump station, and ADA-compliant restrooms for accessibility. Guests can also enjoy coin-operated showers and reliable internet access during their stay. Please note that restroom and shower facilities are closed from November to March, so all RVs must be fully self-contained during this period. Consequently, Tent-Only camping is not permitted in the winter months.
