Adjacent to 900+ acres of public government land to enjoy for sightseeing, wildlife, and hiking. Majestic views of Columbia River, the snowy mountain tops, and Columbia valley beneath will surround you from the moment you arrive. There is peace and tranquility of pure nature all around. Sit in your tent or RV, hike the 62+ acres of private land and over 900 acres of public government land that is easily accessible through this private property. The sunrises are mellow, and sunsets are fiery. Soak in the amazing 360-degree views. Watch the wildlife around you. Short ride away, you can also visit numerous award-winning wineries, swim in lake Chelan, hike the vast nature, golf, and enjoy all what the Columbia River Valley has to offer. Rare and by far better views from private land than anywhere else in the state. Completely unobstructed views of the Columbia River. This place is magical! Camping pad is located at the very peak of sloped mountain and has dimensions of approximately 70ft x 80ft, which will affect what size of RV can be parked on it. There is no other space for turnaround, so please consider these dimensions when making reservations for your type of RV or trailer. ABOUT THIS SPACE This is a very private and secluded primitive location, there will be no other campers at your designated 62 acres. There is an excellent Verizon 5G cell signal. This site is set up with a picnic table and 6 chairs. This is a natural outdoor setting with local wildlife. Please use caution, especially around dusk and nighttime, as cougars, coyotes, and rattlesnakes may be active in the area. Deer are commonly seen during the early morning and evening hours. Summer conditions are usually calm, but weather on the mountain can change quickly. Since the campsite sits on a 3,150-foot ridge, strong wind gusts can occur unexpectedly. Please check the weather forecast before your visit and come prepared for changing conditions. For everyone’s safety, fires are not permitted during burn bans, so please get informed on local seasonal fire regulations set by Douglas County. We loved this spot! Amazing view! Do not expect to have a campfire!!! There are too many fires in and around Wenatchee/Chelan. Thank you to all the firefighters in the area! The spot is a tad windy, but nothing you can’t handle. There are times in the day there is no wind at all! The road is a little rough, but nothing our truck and 12ft tow behind trailer couldn’t handle. Very remote. 25-50 minutes or so in to town, depending on where you are going… very centrally located near Orondo. Would recommend and would visit again! Thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us. My boyfriend and our dog LOVED it!

We loved tent camping on the bluff! What a private and quiet delight. You can see town and squint at other sites, very far far away. River, mountains, grasses, and sun, all lovely. No issues with directions or getting up the road on a dry day in a Subaru.

What an incredible spot! Totally worth it. Just make sure that your car has good tires if you're making the drive anytime close to a rainstorm, because we managed to get stuck on the way out in our rented RV with bald front tires (my fault for not checking). Basically anything other than what we were driving that day would have been fine, though. Responsive host and helpful driving instructions!

Beautiful property with incredible views and very easy to navigate to. The host, Liliya, communicated well throughout the stay and made everything simple and straightforward. The property felt secluded, peaceful, and safe, which made for a very relaxing experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would happily stay again. Great experience overall.

I wanted to take the time to fully say thank you to Liliya. I drove 3 hours.5 hours to the camping site and couldn’t make it up the last leg. It was in no way shape or form her fault. In fact, she graciously took the time out of her day to answer my bazillion questions. She was patient and accommodating to the nth degree. The reason I couldn’t make it up was none other than my own fault. I had an awd Toyota rav 4 and couldn’t make it up the small portion of mud. I am the one who asked to camp there during the closed season and it is my onus. I had to turn back around and head home at midnight and she fully refunded my money. I did not expect or even ask her to do this. What an honest and sincere person she truly is. I drove In the dark so I couldn’t appreciate gods beauty but I can assure you the mountains are breathtaking given I could see them in the dark. Highly highly recommend her she will not let you down!

Absolutely loved this campsite! It was an adventure to get there and the views were so worth it! The host was very responsive and gave great directions on how to get there! Even with all the smoke from the fires the view was breathtaking! Definitely recommend anyone will love it!

This camp site was awesome! The view was incredible and the drive up was very enjoyable. I had concerns about making it up to the camp site in my 2WD VW Westfalia Camper, but Liliya sent videos of each segment of road getting to the site which was very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this camp site to anyone wanting to get away from crowds when camping.

Very private with spectacular views

This is a very remote single camping spot with complete privacy, exactly what I was hoping for. The views are spectacular up and down the Columbia River. The directions were well stated (align the gate code at the TOP not the middle). Towards the end the road does get a bit rough and narrow but really no issue for my 24' Sprinter Van, towing a trailer would be challenging but not impossible. I plan to return to this perfect spot.

We had a great weekend at Liliya's place. Views were great even with clouds (this actually made it better). You are about 30 min away from the nearest town so it is very quite. Liliya sent over great directions to navigate through the dirt roads and were super easy to follow. We were a little unsure when we turned onto the dirt road but our suv handled it just fine! We lost cell reception for about 15 min traveling up the mountain but had full service at the top. 10/10 would recommend!!

Paradise View - Upper Camping Pad
We took our 20’ airstream with our Ford F150. It was VERY hard to navigate the road, and the only turnaround is at the top of the mountain where we did a numerous point turn with me standing at the edge of the cliff so my husband didn’t go too far. The camp site is beautiful, but the only vehicles that should go are trucks, vans with high clearance, or Subarus/small SUVs with high clearance. This is not a sight for anything to be towed in. The sunrises and sunsets were spectacular, but we ended up leaving at night before a rainstorm due to road conditions. The road in is dirt, no gravel so unless you’re not towing anything AND have all wheel/4WD I would not navigate this with any chance of rain. We were concerned about slipping off a cliff on a muddy road in the rain with a camper - even with a 4WD truck. So - this is a very rustic camp sight but very beautiful if you can make it to the top.
