Great spot convenient to lakes, rivers and Leavenworth. Mike was kind and helpful and made the experience great. He had yard games out for the family and even played a movie on the outdoor big screen at night. So fun!

Relaxing and quiet area to spend some time. My kids loved the pond and the paddle boat. Easy to relax and enjoy the day here. The river is beautiful but was high and fast (in June). We would like to go back later in the season to see it when the river is lower. Be prepared for mosquitoes during the evening and early mornings.

Amazing!!! Jenn and Chris were the best hosts, not to mention the cute dogs! Welcome cookies were delicious. View was unbeatable. Had a wonderful time, wished we could have stayed longer!

4 nights at Buck Meadows

Beautiful, peaceful property. Definitely can accommodate large RVs with no issue. Campsites have a nice firepit with benches and a couple chairs, and a nice sturdy picnic table. Brynn was available when needed, and very responsive. Otherwise we were just able to chill on our own. My family lives nearby and came to hang out and my preteen nephews enjoyed the pedal boat on the pond. Tons of space to walk around, and play outdoor games. It is Thorp, so expect breezy days (there is a reason why they have windmills on the ridge above the river). Also the camp is next to the Yakima River, a pond, and some small creeks, so be prepared for mosquitos. They were very happy for fresh skin when we first arrived and were getting set up. Brynn was kind to drop by a mini bug zapper and some spray. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks, Brynn and Bob!

Weekend Trip to Sasquatch Villa

This was my first experience with Hipcamp, and I'm sold! Chris and Jennifer were quick to respond my questions even before I booked, which I appreciated. The directions to Stagecoach and the map that they provided were extremely helpful. The road to get to the site is marked as primitive, and it can feel scary to less experienced campers (me!), but I towed my 21-foot travel trailer with my Jeep Grand Cherokee up and down the mountain with no issues. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We did hear some music and noise from the site just above ours the first night, but after that, it was serene. We saw quail, deer, and heard a coyote, so if you have a nervous and reactive dog (me!), be aware you will see wildlife. I had her on a lead for the duration of the trip. The sunsets were amazing. There is no shade at this particular site, so be mindful of that in hot, sunny weather. We had no issues with the hookups and appreciated the rocking chairs and propane fire pit. It was a perfect place to sit in the morning and the evening. We walked our dog up and down the mountain road and got to take a peek at the other sites in Sasquatch Villa, and must say, whichever you choose you can't go wrong. My only complaint is that when folks don't obey the speed limit on the dirt road (10 mph), it kicks up a bunch of dust into the site, but Chris and Jennifer can't control how fast or slow folks choose to drive.

Lots of space! The views are spectacular! We had water and electricity. There also was a very well kept portable toilet. Rene met up with us when we arrived. We later did a wine tasting with him. Loved hearing his story!!

We enjoyed tent camping at Mark's site. The site is right on the river and it was clean and a short drive to Leavenworth and many different trail heads. I would recommend it!

1 night at Lake Sena Campground at Circle 8 Ranch

The campsite was clean and the electric was great. Lake was nice also. As far as negatives, the Spaces, had it been busy, would’ve been very tight. The description said that we would have enough room for the camper and a picnic table, but had there been other campers that would not have been possible. I do believe they are going to readjust the sizes since this is a new campground. Eventually, they will have Starlink Internet for some people to use, but that was not up and running yet. All in all, it was a very pleasurable trip, easy enough to get to and nice and quiet.

This site was great, clean and private. Loved sitting around the campfire listening to the birds in the morning. The view of the river is beautiful. There were chairs, an electrical post and cord and a water hose for use.

4 nights at Lake Sena Campground at Circle 8 Ranch

We had the best time. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. The grounds are beautiful with so many trails and fun places to explore. They are a short drive to town and gas stations. At the end of the drive way there is the cutest bistro with AMAZING food. The host is so friendly and welcoming. We have 4 small children, and their favorite part was the lake with all the fish. You can see them all swimming around, it was so cool! I HIGHLY recommend this campground. We will be going back for sure!

Nice and quiet with little to no dust in June! Very convenient to the Touratech Rally and Mike’s Brew house was quite a treat. Saturday movie on the big screen in the field. Arrived with very little water in my RV and Mike was kind enough to help me fill up.

We loved this spot! I would suggest it for a full group though, it’s probably a little small for separate groups together at this spot, there’s river access which is wonderful for our kids. The mosquitoes go crazy but it’s to be expected near the water, just be prepared for that!

Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

This recreational park sits deep in the mountains right below Mission Ridge. Just like its 3,200 feet altitude, it stands tall in its ability to give you an action-packed and scenic day.

Abundant growths of Firs and Ponderosa Pines spread over the park's 288 acres for a classic rustic vibe. The aesthetic is continued by the Squilchuck Lodge, which is popular for weddings, reunions and other group events.

Hiking and mountain bike trails are popular activities during the warmer months. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing are all the rage in the colder months.

There is only one group campsite in the park, which accommodates up to 100 people. But you're out of luck if your party is less than 20. Even if you decide to make a solitary trip or one with the family, this park is more than equipped to provide you with a day well spent.
