I had a wonderful time with out family outing. We stayed at lower camp and had multiple families there with some coming and going through out the weekend. Donald was amazing about helping with all my updates of my reservations and continuing changes. He came to meet us the first day right away and dropped off wood in a trailer for 25 dollars which saved us a lot of time and effort haha. The weather was prefect to be in the beach although it is rocky once in the water (yes it’s cold) the kids didn’t seem to mind. There was wildlife including fish the kids had a blast discovering. I would highly recommend this location especially if you have a large group your planning a camping trip with and want a great river view/place to hang out in peace.

Hi! Great spot! Would definitely come back again! We felt safe and it was super clean. We came 4th of July weekend. It was little loud with fireworks but not outrageous. We expected that anywhere we camped. There is a semi busy road next to the spot. All my friend had ear plugs and slept through the night. Don't let any of the negative stop you from going. Its such a beautiful spot next to the next to the river.

Four sites 1-4 are walk outs directly to beach and one #5 is elevated. Shelby, the contact person, is super responsive. We have already made our 3rd return reservations for 2026. Highly recommend.

This is a great spot nestled between all the big Olympic national park sites. Site was very well managed with bathrooms, trash, wood and the camp managers are so nice. I’d definitely recommend. Beautiful sites as well.

What a great secluded campsite in the woods! We stayed at the Cape D State Park the night before, packed in like sardines, but this site was perfect for us and our reactive dog to stretch out and relax. We really enjoyed the short and easy walk to the beach, despite the private setting, and being in close proximity to Loomis State Park. We’ll definitely be looking to book this site again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The campground was in a great central location for everything we wanted to do during our trip. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus. Our hookups worked perfectly, and the park itself was very quiet and peaceful — ideal for relaxing. Overall, a great spot and we'd definitely stay again.

This property is absolutely beautiful - it’s right along a lovely little river with nature trails nearby. It’s so quiet! The bathroom and shower are clean, and there’s a little kitchen for dishwashing or cooking if needed. We loved the community fire pit right by the river and particularly enjoyed Jeff and Eileen’s warmth, stories and RV wisdom! I truly wish we could have stayed longer!

Right now we have dry camping with outdoor honey buckets. We are wanting something that you can clear your mind, camp In peace. We also offer wood for SALE and all of our sites have wood burning areas. We also have ice and delivery services. IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK We are about 45 minutes from ocean beaches, only a few minutes from the best riding, hiking and boating in the world. We have a cute bar and restaurant within a mile. Also gas and groceries are close as well. Boat launch is about 1/2 a block easy access. There is talk about sites at the river, we have some in their premature stage. This is NOT offered through our Hip Camp site!!!!! However, we do upon arrival let people stay right on the water on a case-by-case deal and NOT on busy holiday weekends. There are reasons for this: When we initially opened, we allowed people to camp there through Hip Camp and I was getting low stars ratings because Entitled people thought for $28 bucks, they got the whole river to themselves and would fight with other campers, than they would cry because the bathroom was too far. IT JUST GOT TO EXHAUSTING. So now I do it judging by the vibe the camper gives me when they arrive and how full we our. Next year I’m going to try to set up some premium sites on the river and work super hard at getting amenities that will match that price. But for now, Enjoy Camp Hope and the river ACCESS too!! We appreciate the wonderful feedback everyone gives it helps us grow with you!!

Homesteaders came here in 1890, prior to that there was no human habitation. A perfect base camp to explore the many varied facets of the West side of the Olympic Peninsula. The campsites are on acreage of a very small off-grid farm. Relax and forget the stress. There are 6 tent sites and 2 small RV sites. Toilets are available, as well as trash bins, potable water, and picnic tables. We do not allow pets. Guests love staying here: "This spot was everything we were hoping for and more! Awesome location near everything in Quinault. Received a fun, short tour of the property from our hosts who are incredibly nice. The campsite was tidy and exactly what we imagined. Plenty of room between us and our neighbors, and we barely knew that they were there. The outhouse is basic but clean and charming. Imagine the friendliness of staying at a distant cousin's organic farm, with the facilities of a top-notch campsite. Only regret was that we were crashing there quickly, and weren't able to stay longer and relax on-site. If the description on the website seems like what you're looking for, I would highly recommend this location."

You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor.
