We bought this land in 2017, there were 7 derelict mobile homes on the property. We cleaned up the area and remodeled the house next door and put in the 5 RV sites. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do, it is a one-of-a-kind beautiful, quiet place. All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets. Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away. We are located in the middle of an outdoor paradise and want others to enjoy all it has to offer. ***If you have questions about how to add sites to your reservation or change dates, please reach out to HipCamp support. We loved this property so much. It was clean, quiet and the view was absolutely amazing! It was a huge plus to have full hookups, too. Shelby was fast to respond to my messages and very easy to communicate with. It was the perfect way to spend our Thanksgiving weekend! Thank you, Shelby for sharing your special place on the Bay with us!

Well planned & developed Hipcamp RV spot we’ve stayed in. All had Bay views, good tables w fire pits & wood . After 8 days of dry camping & traveling the serenity & amenities were what we needed.

The host was very responsive to any inquiries made. The setting was very pleasant and private. The environment is conducive to birdwatching. The hookups that were available were well maintained. Be sure and follow the arrival directions by the host to ensure that you do not miss the street to get access to the Hipcamp. We very much enjoyed our time there.

Stargazing!

I stayed at site 5. I really liked the extra privacy and the look-out spot for morning coffee and sunset views. There’s very little light pollution in the area, so the stars in the night sky were plentiful. Fantastic for stargazing! It was a very quiet and peaceful stay. It’s also very clean and well-maintained. I took my dog down to the beach and we had so much fun running around right before sunset. Did I mention the sunset views? Ahhhhmazing! This Hipcamp site exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend staying here. I know I’ll be back again for sure!

We have stayed at Bayside several times and love it! No matter what the weather is like, it’s beautiful and close to both Westport and Grayland beaches. Full hookups, clean property and great host!

Nice level spot. More privacy than the bay front sites. Bay is very shallow and muddy so at low tide there isn’t much water. Views across the bay towards Westport are beautiful, especially at sunset. This is my second time here.

Beautiful, quiet location. Super easy to access, park and hook up. Our neighbors were friendly and quiet. View is amazing, but the mosquitos move in at dusk. We enjoyed the Westport Winery and Bennets Fish Shack.

The site was great, nice location, clean, great fire pit and picnic table. The site was also very level and water, power, and Sewer were conveniently located, working properly, and easy to use. For us , I'm not sure that we would come back here again unless we were camping with friends who could take at least one of the other sites . They are quite close together. However they are right on the beach on the bay and had the weather cooperated I think there would have been some lovely sunsets and walking the beach would have been a more pleasant experience. As it was it absolutely poured down rain and was very windy for most of the time we were there, which is absolutely no fault of the host. The weather is so variable in that area and we caught it on several bad days. The Host was easy to deal with, answered all of our questions promptly, and was very understanding when we had to cut our stay short by a day.

Really enjoyed our stay at Shelby’s. The view was great (until the clouds came lol). Firewood was close by so we could hang out by the fire before we went to bed. It was nice and quiet, site 5 was away from the other sites and it was nice to have some privacy. Shelby was quick to respond to questions while we were there.

We stayed in site #4 and loved it! This small, full hookup campground only has 5 sites and it's perfect. It was peaceful, very clean and tidy with spectacular water views. Also, easy access to walk on the strip of beach in front of the campsites. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Peaceful, private and lots of beach to walk. Walk the beach to bottle beach state park. Close to Brady’s oysters and also Westport. We enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back again next summer.

While the spaces are right next to each other, we still love this camp very much! We had very respectful neighbors, as we have had in past visits. We love the proximity to Aberdeen, Westport, and ocean trails. Our dog LOVES having the bay practicality right outside the door. I love seeing the sunset! Hosts communicate very well.

If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Camping spots are spacious and pretty level. They have really big nice picnic tables there for you to use as well as fire pits. Great view of the bay.

Wow, the views are absolutely gorgeous, the sites are wonderful, and the host is super attentive! This is seriously one of the best Hipcamps around. This part of WA is just breathtaking, and having a campsite right on the bay is just perfect. You’ll find the most beautiful sunsets and amazing beach walks right at your campsite. You can easily drive to Westport or Aberdeen, where you can enjoy fresh seafood. This is always one of the Hipcamps we’re drawn to, and we’ll definitely be back!

This is an amazing spot of heaven! We were in site 5 and it was spacious and private with beautiful views. The dogs loved walking on the beach and hanging out. I got there in the dark which I wasn’t planning, but it was easy to find and know where I needed to be. We will definitely be back!
