On the southern end of Hood Canal, this small — 94 acres — state park hits all the right notes for outdoor lovers. Take a kite out onto the pebble beach, and watch in awe as it soars overhead. Kids love the playground and splashing in the water.
Does this park have fishing? Oh, yes, you can choose between fishing in saltwater or freshwater. Bring your canoe or kayak to discover the natural beauty on the Cascadia Marine Trail. It's one of the most exciting ways to navigate and explore the Puget Sound waterways
Choose one of the 90 standard campsites at this park that features three camping loops. One of the loops sits close to the beach! There are 41 sites for RVs with full hookups available for all the comforts of home.
If you prefer roughing it, you can use one of the two primitive campsites on a first come, first served basis. Three restrooms include eight showers so you can stay squeaky clean.
The best time to visit Belfair State Park is from May to September when the weather is mild and all facilities are open. Winter months offer a unique charm, but be prepared for water closures and cooler temperatures. Avoid planning your visit during campsite re-numbering projects to ensure availability.
