Camp Daisy! Sequim's Sweetest Airstream Argosy and the best, entirely private camping spot for the Olympic National Park. Welcome to our passion project, a completely restored and preserved '77 Airstream Argosy. Tucked in a forested corner of our plot, only 3/4 mile from downtown Sequim you'll get the BEST of camping without any of the worsts of camping. Spend evenings in the wood fire hot tub under the stars and slip into 100% cotton sheets on an oversized camper mattress & French Flax bedding. Tucked into the fully fenced and forested quarter of our lot, once parked and past the gate you'll feel as though you've entered the best camping spot in the entire campground - only thing is, you've got the whole place to yourself. Our aim was to create the best of camping without any of the pain that usually accompanies it. No packing up the camper, trailer hookups, towing on wild highways, backing up and parking, loud neighbors but instead... complete privacy, a fully outfitted camper with all the interior amenities you could dream of (think fully equipped kitchen, games, books, bedding, toilet paper - we've got it all) a propane fire pit, already chopped firewood for the WOOD FIRE HOT TUB under the stars, a solar outdoor shower to rinse yourself off, a large curved deck with a table and chairs. Depending on the season you may even find a fridge stocked with farm fresh eggs. The property that the campsite is located on is also fully gated so you won't have to worry about security and your privacy. Unless you need something you'll be fully left alone and safe. PLEASE note that Vintage Camping Trailers are petite. The walking path from the front to the back of the trailer is narrow. The bed is a FULL size mattress. That being said, we did spring for a very tall mattress so once you're in the bed you will be as comfy as possible. This camping experience is best for those who are also petite. Tall travelers may find the height of the inside shower and the entire camper a bit cramped. Additionally, the bed can most definitely fit two sleepers but please ensure you comfortably fit on a full size mattress before you commit. Remember, the spirit of this stay is luxury camping, but it's still camping.

We are open! This magical, 40-acre, cultivated ecosystem, will wrap around you and leave you enchanted. Enjoy this peaceful, country retreat, as a place to rest and reconnect with the earth and yourself. This is a great place to stop for the night, but one day might not be enough to meander the many paths, drink tea harvested from the herb garden, sit on a bench talking to ancient Maple trees, walk the stone labyrinth, wander the sacred Grove, and camp under the stars. There's so much to enjoy here, from the fragrant rose gardens to the orchards and sheep meadows. Spend the morning sipping tea with a book in the greenhouse, an afternoon wandering the many wooded trails, preparing dinner with vegetables grown from the garden, and enjoying the evening watching the moon and stars come up from the observatory platform. You could take a guided tour of the land and animals, or join one of the many workshops hosted here, such as learning to spin yarn from our herd of Icelandic sheep or take an introduction class to Permaculture. Bring your knitting, friends, or just a favorite book, and spend a few days in this tranquil destination, as this land has something to offer everyone. Please NOTE: This is a working farm, we have animals, dirt, sticks, bugs, poop, and lots of opportunities to "connect" with Nature. All of our amenities are shared spaces, designed to foster community. You will find signs posted around the property with clear communication. Our homeshare farm is open to campers. We have many good tent spots in the yard, in the fields, or in the woods. We also have sites for RV's with power and water connections. It's a bustling working farm growing fruits, berries, veggies and herbs for our local markets. Our fully fenced private homestead is surrounded by woods and well away from the highway 5 miles outside of Port Townsend on the north east Olympic Peninsula. This is a working farm with a lot of moving parts, critters and kids; dogs bark at night, roosters crow in the morning, kids laugh and yell, farm work is BUSY, some days its just plain frantic. Its a lot of fun and beautiful.  But its not anything close to a quiet life.  There will be noise...  and poop... We follow the burn ban guidelines for Jefferson County.

1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, and Tents! The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome! Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested. New 2026: Adirondack chairs and moveable metal fire pit (when burn ban not in effect) Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

Dun Tun is a 5-acre working smallhold we are assisting back to a healthier level. We have animals, plants and people contributing to improving the soil and biodiversity. You may see our meadows high and full of wildflowers or cut short for our animal's benefit. Both make for excellent views from our campsites. 2026 update! We welcome Tio and Rosie, our two new livestock guardian dogs, to the DunTun this year. They are still puppies and learning their jobs so please keep all pets on leashes and away from livestock areas. Our sheep, goats and dogs are on pasture during the day, inside electric fences, so please use caution and keep your pets and kids safe. We have also installed a perimeter fence around the back four acres but please continue to keep pets on leash for their safety and the safety of our animals. We built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024! We are expanding our farm stand, in addition to eggs you will now find seasonal produce, firewood when fires are permitted and souvenirs made by folks who live and work on our farm. Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries. We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimacum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock. We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over. Hablemos Español. FOOD : Due to the exorbitant cost of meats and groceries at present, we have had to suspend our cooking activities for the present. We are so sorry. SHOWER ROOM : Hot shower up and running, Propane type insta hot water. Just what is Cowboy Camp, you might ask. The traditional definition refers to sleeping outside under the stars with only a bedroll, a fire and the night sky for companions. But if you are a fan of the western genre and lifestyle, you might also know it as a place to go to hang out with like minded folks and experience the Cowboy lifestyle. This includes all people, men and women alike, as the term "Cowboy" is largely generic and not gender oriented. A taste of that lifestyle is what we are offering here at our Cowboy Camp. As part of your cowboy camp experience you can sign up for a horsemanship lesson involving handling and grooming horses and time spent working with the horse in the round pen. ACTIVITIES: Local hikes in forest: 1/4 mile Fort Worden: 5 mile Beach : 3 miles Our beautiful piece of property is comprised of 11 acres situated on the northeast tip of the Olympic Peninsula just outside the quaint Victorian seaport town of Port Townsend. It lies approximately 4 miles from downtown with its many art galleries, restaurants, shops, boat harbor, farmer's market and the historic Rose theater. The horses are excluded from camping areas during your visit. No need to worry about curious horses coming into your campsite to say hello. We have created a walking trail through the forest around the land that is full of the sounds of life and birds. A pileated woodpecker makes its home in the back corner and two pairs of barred owls also inhabit the nearby Douglas firs. An important note for the walking explorer, please be aware that many areas of the farm are in their natural state. This means you might encounter prickly plants such as star thistle, nettles and tansy ragwort. We are happy to identify these for you if you are unfamiliar with them. Please be aware and dress in long pants and long sleeves while hiking. There are no poisonous snakes present in this region. Side note : Due to the presence of horses, chickens and various wildlife on the property, we do not allow outside dogs at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Cardinal's Camp is an ideal spot for small RV's and campers to come and relax in a country setting. We have a gorgeous covered area and deck with propane mini BBQ and bench seating, full water and 30 amp power hook-ups, and beautiful views of the surrounding farm fields and a one hundred year old barn (PLEASE don't access the barn area or fields, it's not ours but the views are great!) Lots to do around the area, including Finnriver Cidery, hiking in the Olympic Mountains and the Victorian town of Port Townsend. We now have decent wifi you can use, so option to come and work remotely! (Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire). Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please. Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life. Glendale Farm experienced a devastating loss in 2022 when the primary residence burned down. Since then, we have been engaged in a long-term restoration effort, including extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. Please wear sturdy shoes at all times, as we are still carefully removing glass and other sharp debris from parts of the property. You may encounter old farm equipment, a few derelict RVs, and other remnants of the site's history as we continue this work. We appreciate your patience as we gradually improve the farm with future showers, a communal kitchen, gathering spaces, and enhanced landscaping. Your stay directly supports these ongoing improvements. Nearby favorites: A ¼-mile walk to Finnriver Farm & Cidery for cider, beer, live music, and seasonal events. Sequim Bay State Park camping guide

Overview

About

Sequim Bay State Park is situated in a unique geographical feature referred to as the Sequim rainshadow. Located just inside the Puget Sound on the Olympic peninsula, the air in Sequim Bay is unusually dry, making it a popular spot for boaters hoping to stay out of the rain. The waters in the bay are calm, so it’s a pleasant spot to float, plop a line in the water and see if anything bites. On land there is a tennis court, baseball field and horseshoe pit to keep visitors entertained. But if you’d rather do something less sportsy, you can take a stroll along the paved Olympic Discovery Trail. There’s plenty of camping spots here, so feel free to take a few days to experience all this beautiful little bay has to offer.

Notable campgrounds

  • Standard Campsites - Nestled amid lush greenery, these sites are perfect for tent camping and smaller RVs.
  • Full-Utility Sites - Offering the convenience of hookups, these spots cater to RVs with a touch of home comfort.
  • Ramblewood Retreat Center - Combining rustic charm with modern amenities, this is ideal for larger groups seeking a cozy getaway.

Tips for snagging a campsite

  • Book early to secure your preferred dates, as spots fill up quickly, especially during peak season.
  • Consider visiting during the off-season for a quieter experience and easier reservation process.
  • Keep an eye on cancellation policies and check back regularly for newly available sites.
  • Explore nearby camping options to maximize your chances of finding a great spot.

When to go

The best time to visit Sequim Bay State Park is during the summer months when the weather is warm and dry, perfect for outdoor activities. However, the park's unique climate makes it a great destination year-round, with fewer visitors and serene beauty in the off-season.

Know before you go

  • Check for any burn bans or dock closures before planning your trip to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Remember to purchase a Discover Pass for park access, available online or at the park.
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times within the park.
  • Accessible facilities are available, making the park enjoyable for all visitors.
  • Plan to arrive early or carpool, as parking can be limited, especially on busy days.
