This is an amazing site! Absolutely impeccable!!
So peaceful, private, and listening to the river makes it so relaxing…truly our favorite get-away.
So thoughtful…they supply a dog lead and poo bags. We can’t wait for our next visit. Way To Go Richard…Dick’s Last Resort Site 1 is a prime spot!!!

The site was awesome with nice views of the stream and a secluded section of the woods that felt private and inviting. Easy access to firewood and van hook ups were available. We had such a great time with our 2 young kids!

Absolutely beautiful place to spend a few days. The combination of privacy, nature, and easy access makes this Hipcamp one of the best. We really enjoyed having the covered area for eating and hanging out and our dog really appreciated the freedom to hang out without being tethered to something. We highly recommend this site and will definitely be back. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place.

Wow! My new favorite Hipcamp. Campsite #1 was pristine, and Richard has thought of everything. It’s right on the calm river in such a peaceful setting, with amenities you don’t normally get at a site with this much privacy. Hookups, WiFi, fire pit for cooking, a very clean porta-potty. We loved the wide-open space & it’s easy to see how much thought & love the Host has put into this spot. Doggie bags were even provided! Zero issues—could not recommend this spot more.

Very serene landscape here. We stayed at campsite 2 which was very spacious and sat quaintly on the stream. Plenty of space to roam. We did have to deal with a group of small children from campsite 1 parading through our campsite several times. The hosts Richard and Victoria were very responsive and super nice and helpful people. The next group that set up camp at campsite 1 were super quiet. Hopefully most people are courteous of other’s privacy. There’s plenty of space at each campsite to not run into each other much at all. Our golden retrievers really enjoyed playing in the creek. The river is beautiful, but pretty strong current so be careful! Water and power at the site. Dumping at the Chevron in town was very easy. We saw a mama deer and her tiny baby visit the stream. Super cute. Thanks for the memories.

Camping at Dicks Last Resort was a treat! It was very quiet except for the sound of the river. The proximity to Sequim allowed us to take a gorgeous bike ride around the lavender farms. The porta toilet was super clean. Loved it!

Dick's Last Resort is wonderful! It's right on the river, very private and peaceful, and has excellent amenities. We had a group of 6, and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. The fire pit was the perfect gathering place, and we made good use of the outdoor counter/food prep area. Falling asleep to the sound of the river was a great way to cap each day. Richard also thoughtfully left a leaf blower out for us to blow the cottonwood fluff out of camp (there was a ton of it that weekend!).
We all loved it there, and are excited to visit it again in the future. Highly recommend!

Campsite pristine and relaxing…very peaceful campsite location. Neighborhood is seeing a makeover with a couple of neglected homes getting some necessary TLC. Very safe neighborhood. Richard and his land stewardship continues to impress!

We had a great time at the last resort! We had three trailers , and six of us ,so we rented both sites and had the whole place to ourselves. It is a wonderfull place and very relaxing, the sound of the river will lull you to sleep at night . Each site very well kept and very clean.

We spent the entire week after Memorial Day here. It was like having a little piece of heaven all to ourselves (no one was at campsite 1) Even though cottonwood was falling it just made it more magical. Although it looked like it was snowing in the summer the blower you left was much appreciated to clean up around our immediate site. Lots of trails and quiet places to relax by the river. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property we will be back. Oh the outhouse was SO clean we only used our trailers bathroom at night.

We had a fantastic stay and would gladly come back again. The property was spotless and clearly cared for, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and relaxing. The covered gathering area is one of our favorite features and was perfect for hanging out regardless of the weather. The restroom facilities were impressively clean, something you don’t always find at campsites. This place definitely stands out and is an easy recommendation for anyone considering a stay.

Beautifully designed and maintained. Private amid natural beauty of the river, trees and wildlife. Thoughtful features like a dog tether, dog waste bags, overhead lights, an additional side table for prep or buffets, etc. It's a special place that we felt privileged to have access to.

This was our second time at Dicks, can't wait to go again. We have stayed at both campsites, and number #2 is superior! We just have a campervan, so the Pavillion was very nice since it rained during our stay. Having a self serve wood station was very handy. I would recommend to any size or style camping.

Campsite 1 is the most beautiful site we have stayed at in our three years of camping around the Puget Sound. Richard takes great care of this property and is always improving it. Using the dump station at the Sequim Chevron was easy and swift. We love Dick's Last Resort and have already reserved our spot for 2027.

I knew this was going to be a great campsite from the listing pictures, but this place blew way past my expectations. My husband was wowed by how lovely it was and all the amenities and privacy it offered. The place is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. The river was rushing by-- it was beautiful! It was a very nice sound to listen to all night!
The site itself is kept super clean by the owner. I could tell he had washed the site---the picnic tables, the food prep table, etc. and raked the pea gravel. The site has plenty of room to park 2 campers I believe (not sure of size, but ours was a 22 ft travel trailer and a 1500 pickup truck. Had plenty of room to park it. Then there are two tent sites with fresh wood chips. He also has a nice little raised deck in the sun with some chairs. There is water, electric, and a porta-potty as well as some nice string lights over the space with a nice firepit. Richard, the owner, does a wonderful job making this site clean and welcoming.
This location is a gem that we will return to time and again!

WOW, where to start...We stayed at Spot #2. It was AMAZING. Directions were easy, communication was easy. Only disappointment is that we cannot get the spot again this summer. Ha. 🙂 We have an animal reactive doggie (barking like crazy), so it's hard to find camping spots. The area was so spacious that even if there was a dog at spot #1, we just kept his long leash staked to where he couldnt look down to the other spot. We loved the area down by the fire pit, so peaceful and listening to the birds and the water was very nice. Sani-can was nice to have also. The owners take pride in these spots, we can tell!! The covered area was nice to have also, in case of inclement weather, or extra hot weather. We want to definitely return some day.

This is one of the best if not best places we have ever camped! The sites (2) are well situated and impeccably maintained! Wooded, sunny, great trails, water - it is all awesome. Rick and Victoria were so friendly! There are also great hiking trails right from site. We will be back as often as possible!!

Great spot, you can’t beat the privacy with a calm stream access for the dogs and kids. Immaculately clean, starlink for those who use it, wood stove, pristine manicured covered area. Our second stay and hope for more.

This was such a lovely and well taken care of campground. The little gazebo that has been built there was wonderful and the property was beautiful, with a little walking trails and a nice river right next to the campsite. There is plenty of space for pets to roam around and the campsite feels nice and secluded. We would definitely go back!

This is a true gem! You clearly take pride in your offerings and it ALL shows. The site was impeccable, yard lights, concrete patio & XL picnic table was a great surprise!! Nestled in the trees with the river flowing…truly a relaxing weekend. We will absolutely be back!!!

Such a lovely view of the river right outside our trailer windows. As other reviewers have mentioned, I've never seen a cleaner portapotty. Made it very easy to extend your stay by extending your black tank storage capacity. Just as pictured. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing! Saw bald eagles, herons, gulls, and deer. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Awesome spot! Well thought out - lots of space between sites so it’s very private and tons of space to spread out. I also appreciate that we had our own bathroom for our site that was super clean. The river was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing deer and eagles. I would most definitely return
