2 nights at Wandering Woodlands

Wandering Woodlands is a cute, cozy campground! We booked for a last minute getaway - easy to book and host was responsive to my questions. While this campground is best suited for car camping, we were able to maneuver a dually pickup with an 11 foot slide-in camper into the site. A great spot to base camp for exploration of Forks/La Push and the many beaches close by. Thoughtful touches by the host include a group bonfire/picnic area, a few games and a short trail.

We loved the twilight dome!! such a cute way to camp. We saw chickens and deer in the evening and took a walk by the cows in the morning. Camping was really quiet. We played games in the evening in the dome. This time of year is cold in pnw so bring extra layers!! The host is so sweet!! Thank you!

Great spot! We stayed at site #1 and it was lovely. Such a beautiful view. Fire pit and ample space for cooking on our camp stove. Did the beach walk the next morning and loved the flat rocks all over, great for skipping :) wish we could’ve stayed another day

The view was amazing from Site 3. The space was large and well maintained. Bathrooms was clean! The path to the beach was a nice adventure down a small hill and across the flat river rocks to a beautiful beach. We would definitely stay here again!!

Camp in the sol duc rainforest. One mile from the hotsprings park entrance and lake crescent. Enjoy covered outdoor kitchens an hot showers. Located on the Olympic discovery trail at mile 35.5. Two tent decks provided. 10 by 10 ft. And 10 by 14 ft.

I have stayed at this HipCamp in the past and liked it so much I decided to come back. The sites themselves offer the basics: table, chairs, fire pit, tent spot. But the best parts of this campground are the outdoor kitchens, outdoor game area, and all of the wooden gnomes to find. I would come back here for another stay!

This place is such a gem! Beautifully maintained, quiet, and great location to Sol Duc hot springs and Olympic National Park. Logan was super responsive with any questions I had. The campground is super charming with lots of wooden statues and string lights around. Bonus that there are bathrooms and a shower! Can’t wait to return next summer.

Coastland Camp "Relaxed by Nature" LOCATION ~ PRIVACY ~ SAUNA Wilderness wellness awaits at our rainforest campground on the border of Olympic National Park. Enjoy easy access to the river, forest trails and world famous Rialto Beach. Dry campsites are self check-in and have a picnic table and fire ring (use is subject to Clallam county burn regulations) and require a short walk from parking area. We believe that connection to nature leads to connection with oneself and are happy to provide an access point to all that Olympic National Park, and La Push have to offer.  With Rialto Beach just 3 miles away, we are a perfect base camp for must see locations, including the Hoh Rainforest, Cape Flattery and Ruby Beach. The town of Forks is 12 miles away. SITES 1 and 2: Camp sites are a short walk from the parking area and porta-potty and have access to a wagon to transport gear. Please do not drive across our property, or you will be asked to leave. Guests have access to our sauna, outdoor shower, dishwashing station and porta-potty which are centrally located on our land, just walk up the grassy hill from your campsite, there are signs to help find the way. We request that you only use biodegradable soaps and shampoos to preserve our watershed. Please ask if you need anything. Drinking / potable water is available out of the tap of our dishwashing sink or lower field hose bib. The sauna is available for guests on our property and we encourage you to try it out. Come camp on the Olympic Peninsula. Our 10 acre property has Sol Duc River waterfront, a shared meadow with Roosevelt elk, and a forest with mature Sitka Spruce and Hemlock trees. In the designated camping area there are RV electrical hook ups and water, a picnic table, porta potty, solo stove, lounge chairs, and weber propane bbq. The driveway makes a circle making it convenient for trailers. We recommend pulling into the first driveway so you face the river.

It is ideal for kayaking, fishing, swimming, water skiing, and more! In the Winter, a creek runs through our property, however it dries up during the summer months. As the name suggests, Lake Pleasant is very "pleasant".
