16 ft travel trailer · With pets · This site is a great spot for those wishing to escape the hassle and crowds associated with RV parks, while maintaining the "luxury" of full power, water and sewer hookups. The campsite was expansive with two hook-ups available (we were the only ones there) on a grassy clearing in the woods. There were tables, chairs, solo stove fireplace firewood and a port-a-potty available (all of which we used), as well as a folding canopy which we did not). The site is very private (although there are rental houses nearby, which may be busier in summer), with great access to a large grassy meadow and the Sol Duc river. Blake was very responsible to my enquiries. The only negative was driving through a patch of clear-cut forest to reach the site from Highway 101, but it was not visible from camp-site and did serve as a good marker of where to turn off the highway. It might also be nice to post a sign next to the address number to avoid going too far down the access road.
All-in-all, we had a great time, with day trips to Rialto Beach. La Push and Forks within a short distance.
