This site is a great spot for those wishing to escape the hassle and crowds associated with RV parks, while maintaining the "luxury" of full power, water and sewer hookups. The campsite was expansive with two hook-ups available (we were the only ones there) on a grassy clearing in the woods. There were tables, chairs, solo stove fireplace firewood and a port-a-potty available (all of which we used), as well as a folding canopy which we did not). The site is very private (although there are rental houses nearby, which may be busier in summer), with great access to a large grassy meadow and the Sol Duc river. Blake was very responsible to my enquiries. The only negative was driving through a patch of clear-cut forest to reach the site from Highway 101, but it was not visible from camp-site and did serve as a good marker of where to turn off the highway. It might also be nice to post a sign next to the address number to avoid going too far down the access road.
All-in-all, we had a great time, with day trips to Rialto Beach. La Push and Forks within a short distance.

It’s was a nice spot! Unfortunately we went while raining so the mosquitoes were really out. I ordered 4 bundles of wood and only 2 were there. Apparently 2 got used by someone else? Or stolen? Then we tried to start a fire Saturday night with the 2 other bundles and the wood was super wet so it wouldn’t light. The river is gorgeous, only a short walk to it. Nice privacy.

We loved camping here! We camped in a truck tent and it felt like a luxury to have the solo stove and portajohn. We came prepared with our own water and power banks, but the site has power hook ups and potable water. A short walk down to the river where we saw a very large herd of elk walking through the river. It was very peaceful and quiet and we can’t wait to go back.

A pretty campsite in a great location. All utilities worked as expected; electrical, sewer, water. Quiet and private enough for us. (For reference that means we did not use our shades on our extensive trailer windows nor was sound ever an issue.) Particulary when compared to a standard campground or even worse, a standard RV park. We would love to return.

Having stayed a week, a full hookup site was really nice. There are homes around but you'd never know it. Being an introvert and a nature nerd, I hated to leave. The property is absolutely stunning. I did my very best to leave it as I found it. Please do the same! I'll never forget my experience here.

Just a sweet little clearing in the woods with the camping essentials: pretty views of trees and a short walk to a nearby river, fresh water, an electrical hook-up, a clean portable toilet, and peace and quiet. It is close to the Olympic Discovery Trail, Rialto Beach, Forks, and other places for daytime activities. We had a very nice stay. Blake was helpful and answered our questions promptly.

We had a great time at Blake’s property. Directions were simple, it was a plus to have full hookups. Plenty of space. Privacy was good but there are neighbors nearby so just an fyi. One rental house is within eyesight but it wasn’t a problem for us. Some kind neighbors came by to say hi and give us some wood for the solo stove. River access was easy and nice to have. The porta potty was very clean. If I could recommend anything, it would be to find a way to allow dogs to roam freely without worry. That would be amazing and a cherry on top.

Very nice lone site in a forest clearing just steps from a beautiful creek. Great privacy and sense of deep nature. But with electric hookup, which is what we needed as our Sprinter stopped charging while driving. Lance the host is super responsive though not on-site.

We had a very relaxing time at this site. It was a short walk down to the river which was nice, surrounded by beautiful moss-covered trees, had hookups for our camper, string lights. Just peaceful and beautiful! Close to Olympic - we loved Rialto Beach and Quinault Rainforest. The little grocery store just up the street was super convenient as well.

We booked this site last minute as we had a chance age of plans. We got here late and left early for our next location. I appreciate the hosts responsiveness so we could book so last minute. It’s a private site. We didn’t see the river but the full hookups were so nice and made things easy. It was certainly our most expensive stay in our two weeks camping around Olympic national parks. If it had not been last minute we would have booked something less expensive and closer to the national parks sites, but we appreciate it for what it was and for what we needed.

Do you want to experience the cleanest porta potty you've ever seen? Do you want to have peace and quiet, with only the wind in the trees and the sound of the Sol Duc river in your ears as you sleep? Do you want better phone service camping than you do at home? Then this camping spot is THE PLACE for you! I HIGHLY recommend camping here, and I cannot wait to camp here again--this is our default spot for sure.

Beautiful place! Secluded enough from town, but also close enough to explore. Very convenient. Neighbors have stray dogs who like to visit, so heads up on that. But the area is beautiful and we’d love to visit again.

Wonderful, private location with river access. Although it rained pretty much the whole time we were there(which we anticipated) and we didn't get out much we really enjoyed this site. Would love to come back when the weather is a bit nicer so we can explore more. We had a hiccup with the water connection, wasn't working, owner allowed us to go to his residence in Forks and fill up our tanks so all worked out ok and he was nice enough to give us a partial refund for the inconvenience. Very nice guy, things happen and he made it right.
I attached a few photos trying to give a better idea of the layout of the property. The driveway in comes to a Y the #1 driveway takes you straight in, so our RV was facing the river and meadow. #2 would wrap back around and have us facing away. We came in #1 so our window would face the river which we could see a peek-a-boo view of through the trees. The camp site sits back from the meadow and river but its a short walk and you can hear the river from the camp site. Was nice our dogs could be out off leash, we kept an eye on them so they didn't disturb the neighbors. There is a house on either side of the camp site but far enough away and heavily wooded that you hardly notice them. All in all it felt very private, and having full hook ups (well mostly) was a plus on such a secluded site.
Definitely recommend the site! Only 15 min from Forks and lots to do so will hopefully be back. Saw the Elk in meadow too!

We loved staying at the Sol Duc Waterfront campsite. It was very private and surrounded by trees. We could not see the river from the campsite but it was just a short walk and easy to get to. Having the BBQ was a great plus! We would stay there again.

I really enjoyed staying at Blake's hipcamp site. We were only there for one night, which definitely was not enough! The camp site is beautiful with lots of trees, there are string lights and a nice area to site around the fire and relax. The site was very clean and Blake was very easy to get a hold of when I had questions. I will definitely be coming back here again!

My partner and I adored Blake’s enchanting land. The site is solitary and spacious with ample amenities. My favorite was the fire pit and cozy chairs. If we had stayed more than one night, the picnic bench would have been put to full use. If we had done it correctly we would have pulled straight into the site but since I know we will be back we will ensure to pull into the first entrance instead of the second. Blake was very responsive to our inquiries. You can tell he treasures the land. The path to the meadow is short but full of its own beauty as was the meadow. The walk to the river was perfect for our puppy who is well behaved on a leash already. She had a blast trotting through leaves and showing us all the mossy sticks. The outhouse/potty was clean and it was easy to just relax. Our evening was incredibly quiet and the morning was refreshing. I can’t wait to book a longer stay. Thank you Blake for sharing your space with us wanderers!
