PLEASE READ: The property boarders a cow field. At times the cows can be loud when they are in heat or giving birth. They sometime find their way onto the campground as well. They are not aggressive and will walk away if you clap at them.
Bathrooms are a port-a-potty. Unfortunately, we do not have showers or Wifi at this time. However, showers are available at the local gym for a $10 day pass. Bring your own towel and soap.

Campers bring their own tents and gear to set up camp at these sites. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire pit for campers. Firewood is available for purchase on site.
Multiple campsites are available #1-6. Please message us so we can set you up with a site. A camp shower is available for use ($3 shower), and bathrooms are open 24/7 (a short walk from the campsite areas). Campers can get fresh water for their water bottles and water jugs at the blue spigot. Large open grass area for recreation and a designated pet area (Please clean up after your pets!).

This area is beautiful! We have wildlife all around us! From Bald Eagles (so keep your dogs on a leash), deer, to Roosevelt Elk in the neighborhood. If you are into bird watching, I believe you’ll find a bird or two!
**Rialto Beach is about 5 miles away. There, if you walk down the beach (about 1.5 miles), you’ll find the Hole in the Wall! BUT, you need to watch the TIDE CHART, and make sure the tide is going OUT!
LaPush Beaches are 10 miles away. The LaPush beaches go #3 & #2 are hikes, then beach #1, it is the main beach!
For the LaPush Tribe, they do collect a $10/day permit fee.
Awesome areas to pick, blackberries galore when in season, mushrooms pickers - we’ve got you covered, again when they are in season, and the best thing of all the Salmon fishing!!
There are many beautiful places to go: The Hoh Rain Forest, Kalach Lodge, The Tree of Life.

Our private Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula.
We are a Campground, we are not a Hip Camp, we just advertise through them. Paying for extra days or rentals, wood, propane fire-pits, are done at pay station at Campground or by calling the office.
We have 21 tent sites on the West side of Pavel Road close to the river. 13 are river view sites. We have 15 tent sites and most are bigger tent sites, ones that are big enough for a RV on the East side of Pavel Road, Use our website dawleysrivercamping.com for details.
We have beautiful woods with trees, ferns, moss, and the Sol Duc River runs adjacent to our property. Beautiful views of the Sol Duc River from some of the sites and a short walk to the right of the parking lot to the Fish Hatchery, stay to the right there will be a boat launch and beach to fish and play.
Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca.
Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US!
We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21.
There are more sites on the other part of the Campground.
The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing.
The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play.

Lots of trees and shade made the campsites comfortable and private. The toilets were clean and well maintained. It was quiet at night and far enough from US101 that traffic wasn’t audible. The Sol Duc River made for nice ambient sound in the background. Would definitely visit again on future Peninsula trips!

1 night at sol duc rainforest retreat
Logan's Hipcamp is SO cool! The grounds are so lovely with beautiful carved wooden statues everywhere. Babbling brooks throughout the property with sweet trails and little bridges. The outdoor kitchen was great with lots of little nooks to sit and enjoy the gorgeous land. We stayed at site #7, and it was sweet. We brought wood and had a romantic campfire a few steps from our tent. The bed was comfy. We used our double sleeping bag on top of the bed, and it was great. The book with suggestions and history of the land was very cool to read. My only recommendation would be to have the lantern charged up fully.
We loved having a hot shower and flush toilets to use. The night we stayed was our last night after backpacking at Cape Alava for 2 nights. We drove over to Sol Duc that night plus the next morning for hot tubbing, and that was such a treat. Highly recommend.

This is one of the cutest glampsites I’ve been to. Hand carved gnomes, mushrooms, cryptids and critters are nested throughout the site and the bathrooms and kitchen spaces are super cute, comfortable and thoughtfully designed. Enjoyed the little trails and “gnome hunt”.

Great spot close to tons of things to do. Dale is a great host, made sure to show us the ropes before we settled in. Nice touches are site wide wifi as well of indoor and outdoor showers. Site offered plenty of privacy.

My husband and I have been coming to Dale’s land for the past few years and we always have the best time! Not only is the campsite conveniently located, semi-private, and offering great amenities (running water, clean bathrooms and shower options), but Dale is so kind and always hospitable! I recommend Shangri La Push to everyone I know! Can’t wait to go back again.

This lovely campground is perfectly situated by Lake Crescent, the Discovery Trail, Sol Duc hot springs, hiking, and not too far from Port Angeles. Beautiful grounds, kitchens, bathrooms, wood sculptures, and it was quiet. I would definitely return.

We really loved all the thoughtful touches in the Campground. The dishwashing stations had (non-potable) water, soap, sponges, and paper towels! A+. There was no running water but the Porta pottles were super clean. The campsites were nicely isolated with fire rings right next to the picnic tables. Highly recommended!
