Twilight Dome in Forks
Rainforests and Vampires, Oh My!
This is by far one of the best places to camp if you’re visiting Olympic National Park! Not only is Roxanne an amazing host but she was so fun to talk to and super knowledgeable about the park and the area. We stayed in the Twilight Dome and it was amazing. It wasn’t overdone or gaudy in anyway. Nice and subtle. As someone who loved the books and loves gothic design in general I couldn’t imagine better accommodations. Despite it being the height of rainy season the dome was dry and incredibly clean. It did get a bit chilly though so definitely bring warm clothes! My wife and I would a million percent recommend staying here! You won’t regret it we promise :)

Twilight Dome in Forks
A Magical Twilight Adventure
Just got back from a weekend at a Twilight-themed campsite in Forks, WA, and wow, it was a dream come true for us Twilight fans! The owner has sprinkled magic all over the place, with so many fun details from the movie in the camp dorm that made us feel like we were part of the saga. Every corner was filled with surprises, making it a cozy and exciting stay for any Twilight lover. It’s not just about the cool decorations; beyond the themed decorations, the campsite itself is located in the lush surroundings of Forks, WA, offering a beautiful backdrop that echoes the moody and mystical setting of the series. The natural beauty of the area adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the stay, making it a perfect spot for fans looking to explore the real-life locations that inspired the beloved saga. What made our stay even more special was how friendly and welcoming the owner was. Roxanne went above and beyond to ensure we had a magical experience, sharing insights about the series and making us feel right at home among fellow Twilight enthusiasts. We highly recommend this campsite to anyone who loves Twilight. It’s a fantastic way to dive into the world of Bella and Edward.

Campsite 10
Gorgeous Campsite, 10/10!
This was an AWESOME spot! Super private, quiet, and overall gorgeous. Totally paradise. Also, the tree tent is 10000% more comfortable than a traditional ground tent; we slept like babies!

Campsite 7
A beautiful boho campaite!
Wandering Woodlands was a beautiful little off-the-grid campsite that's in a wooded area right by a cow field - being from the city, we loved being woken up by their mooing. Roxanne, the host, was in the middle of installing themed domes when we were there and had suspended tents available to rent. It was beautiful when we stayed there and will only get more beautiful as it finishes up. Our only complaint was that campsite 7 is a bit smaller than the other sites; there wasn't a clear parking spot like there was for the other tent sites. We still enjoyed our stay immensely.

Campsite 10
We really enjoyed camping here! The tent was cozy and we loved being able to wander around the property a little bit right out the back of our site. There were also the perfect trees to set up our hammock to do some afternoon reading! We would stay here again :)

Campsite 2
Peaceful Olympic Peninsula Retreat
We absolutely LOVED camping at Wandering Woodlands. The site was close to nearby Forks, La Push, and Rialto Beach. Our campsite (#2) backed up to a separate property where there were cute cows that grazed on the prairie, and it was fun to set up our hammocks and watch them go by. There were also deer grazing on nearby blackberries! There is a port-a-potty on property and it was extremely clean and well-kept. That was a very nice touch! We also loved that the hosts are building out trails on the property, as the woodlands behind the campsites are gorgeous and covered with moss and ferns. We had an awesome time exploring the trail they’ve built out so far! There is also firewood available on the property, as well as doggy bags (for picking up pet waste), fire extinguishers, and a first-aid kit. It was a very peaceful property and we felt safe and cozy the entire time. Overall, we had a phenomenal stay at Wandering Woodlands and we would come back in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for an awesome campsite near the major spots in the Olympic Peninsula—this is it!
