Calm Waters is bordered by the Bogachiel River. It is approximately 2 acres of timber and a little meadow area. On site, enjoy swimming, bird watching, eagles & sunbathing with total peace & relaxation. There are many hiking trails nearby. You can hike through our beautiful forests or take a stroll along our gorgeous beaches. There are many beaches within a short driving distance from our location, and you can take your pick of sandy shores or a little rockier shore. Plan a picnic as you watch the beautiful sunset after a day of combing the beach of all its little treasures, Seashells, rocks, and Sea-glass. Dine in at any of our local restaurants. You can take your pick, we have lots to choose from. The Hoh Rainforest is also just a short drive from our location along with many lakes and rivers. The city of Forks is located approximately 6 miles from our location. You can find a place to supply all your needs from our local grocery store " Forks Outfitters", to our pharmacy / gift store. We also have 'Native to Twilight' for all our Twilight fans, the Sasquatch and many more little shops, and restaurants. Forks is a very unique town with a population just under four thousand. For more history on our town, you can visit the timber museum and information center located is the city of Forks.

Camp Site #3 is located in the back of the camp there is a sign directing to your site, you can drive down the little path to your site. This site has a picnic table and fire pit There is also a shared Sanikan for the camp. Calm Waters is bordered by the Bogachiel River it is approximately 2 acres of timber and a little meadow area. Site #4 is Located in our Beautifull Forested area with a about 100-yard walk to the river. This site has its own picnic table and fire pit. There is a shared Sanikan for the camp. Cool site! Everything was as advertised. We ended up sleeping in our car due to heavy rains but that’s no fault of the site, that’s ol’ Mother Nature doing what she does. Would definitely recommend this site, especially in better conditions.

It was amazing! A beautiful, mossy, green escape from busy life. We didn't spend too much time here because we had our days packed full of activities but when we did it was great. We had a tent and an SUV to camp in and the site accommodated both. And you can access the river with a short walk!

Calm waters campground was private, relaxing with the sound of the river, calming surrounded by trees. We saw birds and a rabbit. We had a wonderful stay. Site #3 is a large space.. Thank you Melissa for sharing your property!

Loved staying here! Private, spacious campsites that were quiet and felt immersed in nature. Loved the forest and hearing the water at night. I’d definitely come here again!

Had an absolutely delightful stay at Calm Waters #3, very quiet and secluded from the road AND two steps from a beautiful river, what more could you ask for! Will absolutely be staying here again!

Super convenient spot, right off the main road, less than 10 minutes from Forks and right near the lovely Ira Springs Wetlands Loop trail. From site 1 it’s easy to go sit by the river.

I loved camping in our tents at this Camp. The ground was perfectly level and the tree cover was fantastic. Plenty of gorgeous views within the camping area. I would recommend bringing a broom or something like that as the pune needles sounded like rain on the tents but was a nice sound.

Well kept site with plenty of room for two cars and two tents. Less then 3 minutes from site to river easy access to the restroom. Would love to visit again!

The site was clearly marked, and it is near the port-o-potty. It is right next to the water, which makes for a pleasant sound to wake up to.

We enjoyed site #1, it’s a good size, you can hear and access the river from a small trail at the entrance to the site. Site is located close to the road, but it’s a very quiet road. We loved the access to the river for swimming :)

What a great place to tent camp! We would definitely come back. We were in space 4 and it is very large like the phot o shows. Room for at least 3 tents and an awning, but we only had our little tent. Nice big stone fire pit, picnic table and ra rather level area cleared but surrounded by forest. Great privacy from the road and other campers. We were there in the middle/end of July on a Saturday night with a larger family at the other space next to us and it was very quiet . You could hear the river flowing and the trees rustling in the wind. Check in was easy, we just rolled right in. It's a perfect jumping off spot for Hoh Rain Forest and close to Forks. You must make the trip over to La Push to watch the Surfers and the Sunset, but be sure to bring your head lamp or flashlight as its pitch black when you get back- which of course is perfect . There was a little walk to a private, clean outhouse that even has lights for dark time use. If you want private camping this is a great place.

This was a nice campsite. Only downside was that there was no potable water. We ended up just going Nextdoor to Bogachiel state park to fill up on water.

Private, easy to get to, close to the Hoh Rainforest entrance for early morning trip to beat the traffic, it was quiet, spacious, and overall we had no problems at all. A great place to rest before continuing our adventure around the 101 loop.

We loved tent camping at site 4. It is secluded, yet not too far away from the bathroom or trail to the river. (Sites 1 and 3 are even closer to everything, but more in the open and less private - still good options though!) You can drive up to your tent site, and there is a fire ring and picnic table to use. The location is super convenient to the town of Forks as well as Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park.

Great location to visit the Hoh Rainforest! Arriving early is the key to avoid long entry lines at the park. This campsite was a short drive to the park, and we were able to sleep in (a little) and still make it to the park with plenty of parking available. The campground itself was basic, but well kept. The area for our tent on site #1 was fairly flat, and we had plenty of wide open space in between other campers. There was not much shade, and it did get very hot during full sun days, however, the river was very welcoming, cool and CLEAR (unlike the rivers back East!) It felt so refreshing after a hot day of hiking, a perk I didn’t count on! Overall our camping experience was great. I would recommend this for its great location to the Hoh, and its river access for a refreshing dip, and its peaceful sounds as you drift to sleep.

It’s a cute little spot with access to the Bogachiel river. We spent two nights with our family of 5 and the spot had just enough privacy without feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. We were able to visit lots of nearby beaches and hiking trails on our trip. I would recommend this spot for the convenient location and secluded grassy spot next to the river.

What a wonderful trip! The campsite was fantastic. Gorgeous trees that also provided great privacy. The fire pit and picnic bench were huge bonuses. The walk to the river was super quick and the river view was beautiful! Bathroom was extremely clean and stocked with everything you needed. Melissa is so kind and very helpful! We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for a great camping spot!

Very secluded even though it’s so close to the road. We couldn’t hear any sounds of the road. We felt like we were the only ones around for miles, yet there were people in the other campsites near us and a state park across the river. The portable toilet could use a bit more frequent cleaning, however was very easy to access. So serene and beautiful, was able to walk down to the river, and wake up in the morning to the bird songs.
