Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire.
The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet.
There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road.
There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space.
Nearby there is SnowPeak Campfield that has a sauna and hot tub. There are many restaurants and public beaches to experience. During the summer there are numerous events like the kite festival, sandcastle festival, Rod Run and others.

My partner and I were lucky enough to purchase it in Oct 2020 and our goal is to bring it to its original beauty and charm with the most up to date amenities. It's still a work in progress! Long Beach Peninsula has been a family vacation destination for a long time and there's so much fun to be had on every inch of land!
Located centrally between Leadbetter Point and Cape Disappointment, we have 16 full hookup RV sites (30 amp power/water/septic/Wifi) close enough to enjoy the fun of Long Beach and Ocean Park, but far enough to retreat to your camp for quiet and relaxation. Hang out in the rec room or at a fire pit, play horseshoes or bocce ball with family, or take a short walk down our dune path to watch the sun set on the ocean.

One acre wooded lot a quarter mile from the Willapa bay and 1.25 miles to drive on beach access. “Bleat Retreat”- (Site 1) has full hook ups and a hammock stand. “Goachella”- (Site 2) is a back down area with a woody view. There is a communal firepit as well as a solo stove for use by either site. There is a flat grassy space for outdoor games and near all the major attractions without being in a busy area. The property also has WiFi mesh with fiber speeds. Come stay with the family!
These sites are for fully contained units and do not have access to a shower or toilet.
Owners may be onsite at times, and keep a camper at site of their own.
Site #1 “The Bleat Retreat” will accommodate a large trailer up to 40’ and 50amps.
Site #2 “Goachella” has a sloped back down and will accommodate a trailer up to 25’, a camper van, or a roof top tent set up. This site also allows tent camping (for now, until the grass grows in thicker this is on the gravel area or sand near the utility pole) as long as you provide your own toilet facilities.

All of our sites have full hook-ups (water, sewer, and power). The sites are just a couple feet from the bay with access to miles of beach hiking. You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets.
Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. This wilderness campsite is located down a 2-mile gravel logging road which is steep and bumpy in a few places! Four-wheel drive is recommended in the wettest part of the winter, and please drive carefully any time of the year in whatever vehicle you bring.
As a guest, you are free to access any part of the 220-acre property except other campsites (there is currently only one).
This listing is located on The Riverbend Preserve, a private nature park, so there is no hunting, fishing, or foraging. Please do not discharge any firearms during your stay.
The forest to the west of the Preserve is Washington State land, and on occasion locals go up into the hills to target shoot. In the unlikely event that this happens during your stay, don't be alarmed; the British are *not* coming.
This land is a nature preserve with lots of wildlife. You're welcome to bring your pet, but keep small animals close to you as there are coyotes and predatory birds in abundance. Black bears and mountain lions also live in the hills, so please always be cautious while hiking and exploring.
If you use AT-T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or most major carriers you can expect good cell service. Single use or small cellular carriers may have intermittent signal or no signal at all after you leave the City of Chehalis behind.
Most important of all, relax and enjoy your stay in this incredibly peaceful and secluded valley.

We do like that it’s close to the bay, and the other spots (where my parents normally stay), and is a super quiet environment. Love having the firewood on site and full hookups. Awesome Campground, even better Host! The property is stunning, so much to do, kayaking, swimming and fishing. Great community spaces including clean full bathroom’s and showers, well maintained lawns and trails, and happy friendly campers. Marlisa is a one of a kind. She is friendly, helpful and present in case you need anything, but also gives plenty of space for you to enjoy yourself. She’s happy to tell the history of her exquisite property and what she uses it for year round. Highly recommend, we will be camping here again and again.

What a fantastic spot! We had a wonderful camping trip, and Janette was absolutely wonderful! She helped lead us to the perfect area and answered questions while she was busy with Pirate Days. The spot overlooked the beach and we had a very cozy fire on the sand. It was overcast but that didn’t stop us from enjoying everything! Place is pretty private as well, and the bathroom was clean! Our only trouble was the neighbors dogs, they roamed around a lot and suprised us a couple of times. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but these were large German Shepards. Janette was very responsive on that issue and even offered to stop by to check it out! Other than the dogs, fantastic time and we can’t wait to return for another ocean trip! Thank you again Janette, you truly have a magical area and I will def return to learn how to find razor clams!

There wasn’t anyone camped at the adjacent site. The sites are pretty close together and the resident RV is on site, just things to consider! Really good (and pricey) oysters nearby.

I had a wonderful stay at Gravity Haus. I booked my campsite the same day, and the customer service was spectacular. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and very helpful, especially when I needed to extend my stay during a difficult time in my life.
The campsite and shower facilities were clean, and everything was well maintained. I loved being able to rent a wetsuit and boogie board for a great price. There are a few nearby shops, a pizza spot, and cafés, making it easy to grab a bite. The beach was the highlight for me—a little ocean therapy was exactly what I needed. I’ll definitely be back!
