Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.
Only an hour 1/2 from PDX/Vancouver area, driving through the scenic Ocean Beach Hwy, and nested in the town of Cathlamet- WA, Los Helechos is a place where you can reset after a busy workweek. We have two furnished geodesic domes, each one with their own bathroom, outdoor kitchenette area and wood fire hot tub (for hot days, enjoy a cold plunge!) . We also have a sauna to leave the stress away! The sauna is a shared space. Our 20 F Dome can sleep up to 4 people and our 16 F Dome can sleep up to 2. We have a designated area for parking on the upper level, and then only a few steps down the slope to get to your destination. Please bring comfortable shoes to walk to walk through the gravel road and flip flops to get in and of the hot tubes. For cooking we have a small designated area on the deck. A cooking stove and few cooking ware are available for your use, but you're welcome to bring your barbecue. We hope you enjoy your staying, as much as we do!. Los Helechos family

Huckleberry Dome

Dome · Sleeps 2 · 1 bedroom · 1 bed · 1 toilet
This 16F dome is ideal single visitors or couples . The interior has a queen side bed and some furniture. Bedding and towels provided. The dome has a wood-stove for cold nights, and a fan for hotter days. Enjoy the forrest view in the back, while you drink your coffee or bring your yoga mat for your morning routine. The unit counts with a kitchenette area for morning coffee and small refrigerator to keep your food safe. Cups, dishes, utensils and some cookware are available to use, but if you prefer to dine out, the town has some good options (4 minutes drive). Outside the dome is the private bathroom with toilet, sink and hot shower! There's also a designated cooking area with sink. The deck has a table and 3 chairs and right next the dome is the Cedar hot tube. Easy to operate with a max of 3 people inside. To preserve the water quality when using the hot tube, we recommend to take a shower before entering it. Our water comes from a well, so you can drink it directly from the tap (just leave it run for a few secs prior drinking it) or you can filter it with the filter pitcher available. The site also offers a community sauna that might be shared with guests from second unit.
