Open June to August 16th for Hip Camping. A private club only fishing destination August 17 thru September this campground is open to Hip Camp in 2023 for the 2nd year. I'm accepting up to 20 campers per night. What a wonderful experience my campers have discovering my quiet, lovely landscape! I've enjoyed sharing this incredible property with some extraordinary travelers. If you like a camping area with green grass and ample space....book here Tenters and RV's with full or partial hookups are available. Exclusive river sites for tenting and traditional full hook- ups with water and sewer. The tidal water of the N. Nemah River allow for kyacking to Willapa Bay or just in River at high tide. Searun cutthroat fishing in summer and King Salmon starting August 1st. Located 25 minutes from Long Beach or Astoria there are fun places for day trips. The tiny town of Nemah has zero commerce only a few scattered farms and homes. Eagles and Elk grace the sky and the property for added visual fun. Georgous restrooms paneled in cedar with showers are available. I accept RV's of all sizes Laundry is free. Central campfire on the river available. individual campfires allowed when fire bans are lifted in select sites for safety and fire prevention.150 North Nemah RD East Star link internet upload 2.1 to 2.8 Summer- Open June 1st for Hip Camp to August 20th. Full hookups and tenting areas Closed August 20 to September 24th for A Private Fishing Club -Open for Elk and Deer rifle hunting season in 2024 from September 25 to Novemer Elk Rifle season November - Full hookups only in Novemer limit of 10 campers No tenting from October to November Easy access to local forestry areas surrounding the Nemah. This beautiful property in the summer offers walking, fishing, swimming , and gravel bar river fun for small kids at low tide. Biking on local back roads . Nemah River fish hatchery. Local Oyster farms for fresh oysters in Bay Center and South Bend Kyacking out into Willapa Bay, your own kyacks are needed. Central fireplace along the river for added ambiance . Wood charges may apply -Wood avail at $10 at night at limited tenting sites for private campfires Off leash pet area is available on much of the property. Chinook Salmon season opens August 1st in the river. Washington fisheries rules apply. Open to the public June thru August 20 . Checkout on August 20th Kids 17 and under are free

Beautiful property and a hidden gem
Such a beautiful property… The set up is perfect for camping in our fifth wheel with our dogs… The river nearby, the gorgeous old growth trees overhead and such a nice warm feeling just being there. The Host is always so friendly and helpful and we plan on coming back again next year. It is quickly becoming a family tradition.!

Dogs allowed to run free
I wrote a review before but not seeing it and Hipcamp keeps asking for my review. My review Wonderful host. Responsive and accomodating. Beautiful property. Hesitate to stay here again. Didn't feel safe as there were several dogs off leash and one of the dogs actually ran over to us and puts it's mouth around our dogs neck. Our dog was on leash which mkes it challenging when other dogs are left off leash. Fortunately, our dog was cool about. The owners didn't even seem to mind that their dog was running ocer and attacking our dog. We had to yell for them to come. They didn't. Another large dog was aggressive (running up and barking close by) to all of our camping family. We were told by another camper its really a big dog park. Also, when we arrived, we saw a dog was getting medical attention for a bite. Dogs being on leash is not enforced. If it was enforced, we'd be back to stay again.

Overall it was a nice place to stay and it served its purpose. For campers in a tent I wouldn’t rate this as a great place as there were zero picnic tables so if you don’t bring your own table then you have the ground to cook on. Bathrooms were ok. We were told to text before arrival and we did that but didn’t get a response so we set up our camp without knowing that across the road there was an incredible area (without facilities) to camp in.

Awesome place
We loved the location along the river and paths through the fields and woods. The people were super friendly. Dogs are welcome. We were there in beautiful weather and the camp was not 100% full so it was probably perfect conditions. Not too far from Long Beach and the ocean and lots of oysters too.
