Ten camping here was great. The site was quiet, clean, and quintessentially PNW. The outhouse was well maintained, and we were grateful for the picnic table and fire pit. It is just far enough away from the ocean that you can still hear the surf at night but still be protected from the wind by the trees.

I would highly recommend this private, out of the way (yet still close to town and beach) camp spot. It’s secluded (quiet!) but feels very safe. We enjoyed our stay, and had all the amenities we needed to set up a comfortable camp. Thank you, we will definitely be back!
Decent spot of land for basing yourself near the beach, with just a short walk to the start of the dunes. Town is a 5 min drive south. The spot itself is good- private, wooded and well maintained. Clean porta potty. Nice flat tent pads. Picnic table and a fire ring- what more could you need?
Great spot to camp near Long Beach. Easy access to the ocean nearby. You definitely feel secluded, but you will likely hear neighbors through the woods (dogs barking, vehicles running, lawnmowers, etc.) Not the worst thing by any means, but just so you don't think you're going to some remote site!
Beautiful camping spot for a larger than average group. Plenty of parking. Tent friendly. Close to the beach and the host was so easy to work with. We all would absolutely stay here again. The porta potty was clean and I like how secluded it felt. Wish there was more wood that wasn’t wet, we will be bringing wood next time.

Excellent campsite! I booked it intentionally for the privacy because one of our dogs needs to be leashed around other dogs/people (she's very social otherwise). We got in after dark so I didn't let them roam that first night but after seeing how spacious it was and how there are nice natural buffers, I let them wander - and they loved the freedom! Beautiful wooded spaces kept them safe from eagles too! Great location- close to downtown Long Beach. It was nice being able to hang downtown and go to the beach and not worry about a long drive back to a campground. Porta-potty was clean and grounds were well maintained. Highly recommend!

The site is completely surrounded by giant trees with enough room for games and activities. Somehow you have complete privacy AND you're in the middle of Long Beach! We loved it and will be back.
Peaceful, private, close to the beach and all that Long Beach and cape disappointment have to offer
Quiet and peaceful place. Back off the road where you can still hear the ocean. Love the twisted trees.
This is a beautiful very quiet campground. Two separate tent pads and a nice little fire pit. Plenty of room for the dog to run around off leash and my daughter to explore! Host was easy to get a hold of and answer any questions. I will certainly be renting this site again!
This place was perfect: beautiful, secluded, quiet. Woke up to the sound of waves and birds. All while being close to Cape Disappointment and the small town of Long Beach. Highly recommend!

A peaceful, secluded forest site. Close to several state parks, many beaches, and Long Beach businesses. I slept soundly on the tent pad, and portable toilet on the property was a welcome convenience. I loved watching the Douglas squirrels scampering through the trees while having dinner.

Very quiet, private site. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and having a camp fire every night. It was nice to have a porta potty onsite. The host did a great job communicating the location. Definitely recommend!!
The site was really nice . Enjoyed that there were options where we could set up our tents at. I loved how tucked away it is from the road, made it more peaceful . Along with it being private and not being in a group camp setting. I will come back in the future if im ever in the area and want to camp.

Twisted Tree was easy to access, completely private, and shockingly quiet. We pulled off the highway, went a quarter mile down the driveway and couldn’t hear a thing but the ocean in the distance and the breeze in the trees. The road and tent pads are well maintained. We were surrounded by wildlife, including multiple owls, and had only minimal issues with mosquitoes and yellow jackets. We walked to the beach every morning. The site really provided a lovely weekend away.

We had a wonderful time at this secluded spot. There is plenty of room for our camper van to park and turn around. A very nice fire ring with plenty of wood and a sturdy picnic table. Also, it's not far the active summer events in Long Beach. While we were there huge animalistic kites were flying on the beach and preparations were being made for the annual sandcastle competition. Highly recommended!
Wonderful site. Close enough to all activities but secluded enough to relax. Bring your bug spray.

What a great secluded campsite in the woods! We stayed at the Cape D State Park the night before, packed in like sardines, but this site was perfect for us and our reactive dog to stretch out and relax. We really enjoyed the short and easy walk to the beach, despite the private setting, and being in close proximity to Loomis State Park. We’ll definitely be looking to book this site again!

This is a super private spot that's best suited to camper vans. We managed in a tent but all the areas were rock, so a van or small rv would've been better in this location. The host has done a lot of work to get the base area usable. I hope they continue with some brush clearing and maybe consider a port-a-jon.
It’s a very quiet spot and is super private which is nice! It’s all forest around with a great driveway in! It’s see far back so it’s not polluted by noise which made for a very relaxing time!

I rented this spot last minute to have an evening for razor clamming. Supper easy rental for a really nice spot with very little traffic noise in the evening. Nice new fire ring to cook on and easy parking. Obviously a new place with a couple of brand new tent pads if your whole party doesn't want to stay in an RV/van.
