IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK We are about 45 minutes from ocean beaches, only a few minutes from the best riding, hiking and boating in the world. We have a cute bar and restaurant within a mile. Also gas and groceries are close as well. Boat launch is about 1/2 a block easy access. There is talk about sites at the river, we have some in their premature stage. This is NOT offered through our Hip Camp site!!!!! However, we do upon arrival let people stay right on the water on a case-by-case deal and NOT on busy holiday weekends. There are reasons for this: When we initially opened, we allowed people to camp there through Hip Camp and I was getting low stars ratings because Entitled people thought for $28 bucks, they got the whole river to themselves and would fight with other campers, than they would cry because the bathroom was too far. IT JUST GOT TO EXHAUSTING. So now I do it judging by the vibe the camper gives me when they arrive and how full we our. Next year I’m going to try to set up some premium sites on the river and work super hard at getting amenities that will match that price. But for now, Enjoy Camp Hope and the river ACCESS too!! We appreciate the wonderful feedback everyone gives it helps us grow with you!!

You can walk to Bottle Beach State Park which is approximately 1 mile north or hike about a mile south to Elk River. Enjoy unobstructed views of Westport and the freight ships coming into the harbor. Enjoy a peaceful beach with amazing sunsets. Whether you are surfing for the weekend or tuna-fishing, this is your go to spot - you will not be disappointed. Westport is 7 miles by car and the Westport Winery is only 5 miles. There is two nearby boat launches - one off of Elk River just 2 miles away and the other off of Johns River launch just 6 miles away. Beautiful Tent Yurt and Campsites. All sites have access to the river and the beach. Great for biking, playing on the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. Watch and listen for the magic of the fish jump and ducks swimming and more. Lots of wildlife reported. Visit the only working covered bridge in Washington State. Bring a kayak or floaties. Ride your bike on a beautiful country road. The water is very amazing And surrounded by woods. The sites are not directly on the river (except for the site " Cozy for 2" that is on the river . The river is still in front of all the sites. A few miles away is a little restaurant. Open only Thu - Sunday. It is 12 miles to nearest town in both directions for a store and gas. No potable water yet so please bring your own. A contained fire allowed. No electric at this time. Pet friendly. Pets must be on a leash for their safety. All Children must be accompanied at all times . Life jackets are highly recommended for people who can't swim. There is a little country rd that is between you and the riverfront. The river is a stone throw away. The camp site "Cozy for 2" is the only campsite right on the river. Only 26 miles to Astoria Oregon and 34 miles to Long Beach Washington. There is a old farmhouse on the top of the hill that is not lived in. Please don't ask me to accommodate more people than I have implemented. It doesn't work. Thank you

We have a blueberry patch and 15 heirloom apple trees that guests will be welcome to pick fruit for their breakfast and lunches for hiking /biking adventures when in season . During spring / summer the soapstone run remains deep enough for swimming. I am a mostly, retired restoration ecologist with a place based knowledge of the north coast and will be happy to share “ locals only “ hikes and special experiences you won’t find on the internet for north coast exploration. My intention is to provide a no impact/ sustainable camping site near the beach that are not available elsewhere near CB and Seaside. It is a natural pad for your RV on river rock and wood chips as a base surrounded by native temperate rainforest just outside your door . Sea run trout use the “ soapstone run” from July through October and can be caught ( ideally on a fly rod ) at dawn and dusk with steelhead and salmon from October to March . It’s considered one of the very best steelhead runs on the Necanicum. There is a river cobble / gravel bar that is perfect for evening campfires only a few steps from the parking pad. It can accommodate RVs up to 24 feet to park in a forest glade setting just a few steps from the river . I live at the end of an easement road that will require campers to drive Slowly to the RV site. Campers will be provided some camp fire wood, there are no other amenities on the I look forward to sharing the special place we live and not well know hiking experiences and other activities with hipcampers .

Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire. The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet. There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road. There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space.

Rare river front with ancient temperate riparian rainforest with room for 1 sprinter/ camper van / truck under the tree canopy along the “soapstone run”on the Necanicum River 12 minutes drive from Cannon Beach or Seaside. IMPORTANT, campers must have camp toilets . The site is a few steps from the river that will have a river rock fire ring for camp fires on the gravel bar .My home is just west of the site but guests will have privacy . There are river otters , beavers, a resident herd of elk often on or along the lane to the property!, Barred owls, which are hooting as I write , deer, a pair of bald eagles that nest downstream and a diversity of other wildlife. We have a blueberry patch and 15 heirloom apple trees that guests will be welcome to pick fruit for their breakfast and lunches for hiking /biking adventures when in season . During spring / summer the soapstone run remains deep enough for swimming. I am a mostly, retired restoration ecologist with a place based knowledge of the north coast and will be happy to share “ locals only “ hikes and special experiences you won’t find on the internet for north coast exploration. My intention is to provide a no impact/ sustainable camping site near the beach that are not available elsewhere near CB and Seaside. It is a natural pad for your RV on river rock and wood chips as a base surrounded by native temperate rainforest just outside your door . Sea run trout use the “ soapstone run” from July through October and can be caught ( ideally on a fly rod ) at dawn and dusk with steelhead and salmon from October to March . It’s considered one of the very best steelhead runs on the Necanicum. There is a river cobble / gravel bar that is perfect for evening campfires only a few steps from the parking pad. It can accommodate RVs up to 24 feet to park in a forest glade setting just a few steps from the river . I live at the end of an easement road that will require campers to drive Slowly to the RV site. Campers will be provided some camp fire wood, there are no other amenities on the I look forward to sharing the special place we live and not well know hiking experiences and other activities with hipcampers .

Sites are …… as you drive in first to right in number 1, 2, 3 . 4 is last one to right after cell tower driveway it is now open as an open play area. ( Left hand side is another Hipcamp host they are marked A, B, C, D ) Porta Potty is for my campers it has a combo lock This combo will come to you as automatic message 24hrs prior to arrival time. The lock combo is for top line of lock not the middle. All sites have a picnic table Site 1 and 3 have fire pits. Site 1,3 have campground style BBQ New as of June, 2023 porta potty added. DO NOT put garbage or transfer any waste to porta potty. Jacks Country store in Ocean Park, WA has garbage drop off for small fee depending on size. Twisted Tree Camp s a 13 acre property about 5 miles north of Long Beach, Washington. The property is long and skinny, we have built road that accesses the back of the property. The campsite is in the middle of the woods, you can wake up to many birds singing and no neighbors in sight. In the evening you can listen to the frogs singing while you stare at th campfire. The road winds thru the trees and this is not suitable for vehicles longer than 23 feet or wider than 8 feet. There are multiple twisted trees along the road as you drive in to the campsite. We have recently built the road to the campsite at the back of the land so there is still evidence of recent construction along the road. There are two cameras on site - one at the entrance along Pacific Way and one by the campsite at the end of the road. Cameras are there to monitor the site after hipcampers have left and will not be on while campers have rented the space.

I had a wonderful time with out family outing. We stayed at lower camp and had multiple families there with some coming and going through out the weekend. Donald was amazing about helping with all my updates of my reservations and continuing changes. He came to meet us the first day right away and dropped off wood in a trailer for 25 dollars which saved us a lot of time and effort haha. The weather was prefect to be in the beach although it is rocky once in the water (yes it’s cold) the kids didn’t seem to mind. There was wildlife including fish the kids had a blast discovering. I would highly recommend this location especially if you have a large group your planning a camping trip with and want a great river view/place to hang out in peace.

Hi! Great spot! Would definitely come back again! We felt safe and it was super clean. We came 4th of July weekend. It was little loud with fireworks but not outrageous. We expected that anywhere we camped. There is a semi busy road next to the spot. All my friend had ear plugs and slept through the night. Don't let any of the negative stop you from going. Its such a beautiful spot next to the next to the river.

The space we stayed in was majestic. Mary was there adding some finishing touches when we arrived and she was so accommodating and helpful. She went above and beyond. The view of the swimming hole and beach was incredible. Waking up to it was one of my favorite parts. We counted at least 13 different birds we saw, including a bald eagle we watched for almost an hour. I have already been planning to go back. Highly recommend this spot.

Quiet, lovely beach side camp ground with only 5 RV full hookup sites. Nice crushed rock mostly level pads, picnic tables and great views. Four sites 1-4 are walk outs directly to beach and one #5 is elevated. Shelby, the contact person, is super responsive. We have already made our 3rd return reservations for 2026. Highly recommend.

This property is absolutely beautiful - it’s right along a lovely little river with nature trails nearby. It’s so quiet! The bathroom and shower are clean, and there’s a little kitchen for dishwashing or cooking if needed. We loved the community fire pit right by the river and particularly enjoyed Jeff and Eileen’s warmth, stories and RV wisdom! I truly wish we could have stayed longer!

This is private, set back and great for groups to hang out. The hosts are wonderful and you get to see deer every morning if you are quiet come through the camp , we usually see at least two every time. There are bear, but we have never seen them in person only their evidence. There are a ton of stickers so you must where shoes always but if the grass is mowed more often it wouldn’t be so bad.
