Ocean Shores is known as a small charming coastal community with an abundance of recreational and cultural activities. It is also surrounded by miles of sandy beaches on the Pacific Ocean as well as Grays Harbor. Its 23 miles of inter-connected canals and lakes charm you with their breathtaking views. Surrounded by trees and vegetation you will have all the privacy you seek. There are no "lights out" or "quiet times" for you to worry about.  Large open space for camping with friends and family to gather and enjoy each others company.  Dogs are able to be leash free and enjoy the space as well. Only a ten min private walk to the ocean through the dunes to enjoy beautiful sandy beaches, kite flying, picnics on the beach, day camping, amazing sunsets and so much more. Rubber boots are recommended for the hike to the beach during the winter months (November-May) as you will have a small trek through wet lands. You may also access the beach/ocean by vehicle just a few minutes away in town.  You will be located between the Quinault Casino and the City of Ocean Shores where you can enjoy all the wonderful activities there is to offer.  If kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding is what you are seeking, many are unaware of the 23 miles of scenic canals in the City of Ocean Shores.  You may also fish for bass, rainbow trout, yellow perch and bluegill sunfish in these waterways.   I hear there are a couple little Islands to explore as well.  What a hidden treasure! There are three launch sites available we can give if needed.  And if you left something at home, sitting there thinking he was going to grab it (haha) no worries, you more than likely can grab it in town. The Ace hardware is amazing!  There is an Arcade, golf, miniature golf, go carts, water go carts, bowling, horseback rentals (seasonal) for the beach, electric bike rentals, scooter rentals and so many more activities for you to enjoy.  A wonderful place where memories are made.

Off leash for dogs
This has been our 4th trip out this year, Nice, secluded and a short walk 10-15 minute walk to the beach. They have made some improvements and are planning some more. Our Dogs love this camp spot as they are off leash the whole time we were there. Dry camping at its best :)

Trees by the Sea
Great spot to enjoy the trees and quick walk to drive to the beach. Love how private it is but still quick to get to.

This is a quiet, private camp spot with easy access by foot to the beach. The fire pit was huge and kept us warm at night. It was helpful to have the portapotty. We brought our 29' motorhome. Branches touched it going in and out but it wasn't a big deal. We definitely recommend Suzanne's place and will return if we get back to the area.

So close yet so far away
What it lacks in amenities (porta potty and fire pit) it makes up for in privacy and location! So close to everything yet so isolated. Will definitely be returning!

Coastal hideaway is truly a magical place. So peaceful and private, the dogs and kids can play all day. The beach trail was very nice to have an easy walk yo the beach. Can't wait to go back!

Great camping spot for anyone!
Suzanne was such an amazing host and her space was beautiful, private and peaceful. Our dogs were happy to wake up and roam the area all day! It’s a short 5ish minute walk to the beach and you can hear it at night. We will definitely be back. The bugs were not too bad— some bug spray did the trick.

Our dogs loved it. Well, so did we.
It was our second time there. The last time was a couple weeks ago. Our dogs loved the freedom as for the complete time they were off leash. There was a lot of bear scat including on the trail to the beach but we did not see any of the owner of the scat. The dogs did go in protect mode a couple of times but I’m sure that just scared the bear off as we didn’t see it. Very nice piece of property.

Trail directly to the beach!!
We loved the Suzanne campsite! The trail to the beach is wonderful and the space is big, enough for multiple families. Our dogs were free to run around and it was a joy. I absolutely recommend.

Awesome private site. Dry camping
My wife and I used this campsite to test out our new cargo trailer conversion for a dry camping. We are very pleased to report it was a success!!! The campsite is very secluded from others. From the gate to the campsite it’s just under a quarter mile and from the campsite to the beach via a trail is a little over a quarter mile. We chose this place so we can have our (well trained) dogs off leash. They were happy campers as they didn’t see a leash the whole time. Other happy campers were my daughter and grandchildren. Although my grandson really likes to be online he too said he would like to come back. Because the road into the campsite was long, I brought along a small quad that kept my granddaughter happy as well. The host was very responsive with all my questions as I have learned to keep an open dialog with them so we were prepared for any unpleasantness. (Mosquitos) we were prepared so it was not a problem. They have cameras on site but they were pointed away and not used to spy on us. We were mindful of picking up after ourselves so we are hopeful to use this property in the future. All in al, it was very pleasant experience.

Beach camping with children + dogs
Super quiet and beautiful property, lovely walk to the beach. We had four children & two dogs with us and they all adored walking back and forth to the beach multiple times a day! Multiple spots for tents, great fire ring, and the fact that the site itself is a drivable loop is super convenient if you’re towing a camper or driving an RV. If you have babies that go to sleep before other children in your group, then the tent spot on the left behind the shipping container basically has a built in white noise machine due to the wave noises coming up from the beach. Everybody loved this campsite so much! Suzanne was also wonderfully communicative and responded promptly to any questions we had. We all had a blast and are looking forward to booking with Suzanne again!

Great private camp site. Could only hear the birds and ocean from the site. The path to the beach was still flooded but we found it easy to drive down to the beach.

Avoid with large vehicles
Might be nicer for small cars, but our RV got scraped to hell (11ft clearance) on the drive in and out of the site. Would not recommend staying here if you have a high profile vehicle, especially until the water subsides that is blocking the path to the ocean. The storage container and multiple cameras around the site made it less than desirable as well….it it is what it is.

Camping in the middle of town
Nice big spot for groups (3-4 big tents easy plus a big communal kitchen area). Sunshine hits the spot for most of the day. It felt glorious! Privacy, privacy, privacy! We were there in May so the trail was flooded and not passable. Even tho the beach was a short drive, we didn’t spend much time there. Grocery store close by too!

Take me away...
Suzanne's property was by far our most favorite hip camp. It was private, peaceful, and beautiful. The sound of the waves was magnificent, and the ocean is within walking distance. We highly recommend!

Private location
If you are looking for privacy and a place where you can open the door to let your child or pet outside, this is for you. You can hear the ocean and in the drier time of year, can walk to it. For us it was a little drive, because the water levels were up, but still with it.

Perfect beach get-away
This spot was great! It was so quiet and felt secluded but was only minutes from the beach and the town. The spot is back behind a small metal gate, it was very easy to find with the host's instructions. The gate had a combo lock on it which made us feel secure and secluded. The property has security cameras, but the one on the campsite is directed away during your stay. The road in is beautiful and goes through a wooded area before opening up to the clearing that is the campsite. In summer there is a small path that would lead out to the beach, but it was sadly flooded during our stay. The campsite itself is pretty flat, a little rocky, but perfect for a tent. There was a large firepit in the center of the area which was great for a fire and we roasted lots of smores! We could hear the ocean all night, which was a huge bonus. The host was very responsive, nice, and super easy to reach. Overall it was amazing and we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is secluded but still very close to town. The size of the rv spot was amazing and since the area is bordered by thick vegetation it was safe to let our dogs run around off leash. The site can easily handle 2 or 3 rvs or a combination of tents and rvs. The beach trail was flooded so we were unable to access the beach but we plan to return so we can utilize the trail during later in the season. The drive to the beach is 5 mins and town is the same so you can't get a better location. Great home base for exploring the ocean. Definitely booking again!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it! The driveway and site were level, it was easy to turn around and we fell asleep to the sound of the ocean at night. Very private, yet has easy access to the amenities of town and the beach. We will be back!
