Dun Tun is a 5-acre working smallhold we are assisting back to a healthier level. We have animals, plants and people contributing to improving the soil and biodiversity. You may see our meadows high and full of wildflowers or cut short for our animal's benefit. Both make for excellent views from our campsites. We've built a new shelter for the compartment toilet for added privacy and weather protection in 2024! Both campsites are unimproved spots in our future silvopasture food forest. Located on the "back four" acres of our property, they're surrounded by trees and seclusion. We back to a small airport and are near a main road and you will probably hear traffic. Both campsites have trees and space protecting them from views of people or development. We improved our road in 2022 so bring your vehicle with no worries. We're just outside of the busy part of Port Townsend and close to farms, beaches and historic sites. Go into town for festivals, restaurants and the farmer's market. Chimicum, just two miles away, has several nice restaurants, breweries and farms that offer tours. We're two miles from restaurants, hardware stores and a grocery store in Port Hadlock. We're just 45 minutes from Olympic National Park and 2 hours to the Olympic Peninsula Coast so we're a great stop over. Ablemos Español. Site 2 - The Back Four Secluded Boondocking

Got exactly what was advertised. Very easy to communicate with host. Toilet was different but very easy to use with instructions and it was more private than we anticipated, which was nice. Can't complain about a thing.

Site 1 - The Back Four Secluded Boondocking

Our second time camping here, this time in Site #1. Nice to see some impressive improvements on the potty! The site felt private, the paths were well maintained and being tucked back into the property made it feel much more secure and peaceful than some other hipcamps in the area. Daisies were in full bloom this time — stunning! Great spot with lots of subjects for the artist or photographer in you :) Thanks again to Ronnie for sharing the beauty with us!

Site 2 - The Back Four Secluded Boondocking

Meadow Camping

We love the back campsite because it’s private, safe, and surrounded by meadows and trees. Plus, we like camping on grass rather than dirt. The camping areas and paths are kept mowed, which makes walking around easy. The new outhouse is a nice improvement and the chemical toilet is changed regularly. It’s about 10 minutes to PT, an easy drive.

I enjoyed my stay at Ronnie’s camp. The restroom was close enough to the site, but tucked in so that is was quite private. Both sites were easy to get to and had had a nice stones in fire pit. I would definitely stay here again!
