A nice flat large private grassy camp site. We arrived after dark with old eyes but directions to the site were good and we settled right in. It fit our needs well.

We had a very nice stay on Ronnie's land. The site was large and private. We stayed in our camper van while visiting friends in Port Townsend during the Wooden Boat Festival. The place was easy to find and not far from town. We would stay there again.

Fantastic site with a wonderful owner, very spacious for setting up tents and having a good time hanging out. Bathroom was a canister toilet in a wooden structure, the toilet is regularly replaced and cleaned out. Very close to a lot of locations to drive and explore. The animals are very cute as well, which is a huge plus. Overall, would recommend to anyone for a quiet and calming experience.

Great location. Very beautiful and secluded spot. Proximity to the road and airfield createste a bit of noise but it didn't bother us at all. Beautiful campsite!

Pretty easy to find, close to town. Spacious. Clean and easy outhouse/toilet situation. Host was easy to communicate with and flexible with our camping arrangement. I'm mostly giving feedback because HipCamp has sent me 5 notifications now to give feedback, which is annoying.

Nice place! Not for 50 (bird poop)
She was very nice and the site was nice and quiet. I think I wouldn’t stay here again because it’s 50 dollars and the table at the site they provide you with was covered in bird poop.

This spot was very spacious and fairly private! The site is located in a well-kept clearing surrounded by woods. Ronnie was very polite and left us to ourselves. The bathroom was one of the nicer ones we’ve seen on hipcamp. The only downside to this site was its proximity to the road and nearby airport (that said, if you like planes we saw several go by and you get an up close view of them). The noise from the road and airport was noticeable during the day, but it was very quiet at night. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful! The site offers a genuine 'camping in the woods' experience, with a flat, grassy tent area surrounded by beautiful trees. Daytime road noise was present but disappeared at night, ensuring quiet evenings. The fire pit was a great amenity for the kids too cook their marshmallows, and they enjoyed the footpath for mini nature walks. The spacious outhouse and compostable toilet were a significant plus for us tent campers. We really enjoyed our time here.

It was as described! Great if for when you need a spot to stay, and close to Port Townsend. Only for recommendation for host is that it'd be superb if the street number was easier to spot, but readers shouldn't think this was hard to find -- it just could've been easier.

Overall I loved the site, but didn't get great sleep. It was comfy, grassy, and felt secluded. The airport and road noise wasn't bad - a distant hum. I'm a "maybe" on if I would rebook because there was some bizarre music late at night (I'm guessing from the nearby drive-in theatre that was showing Beetlejuice?). It was just loud enough that it was difficult to sleep, and just late enough to make me grumpy (past 10pm).

Easy to find and very spacious and nicely maintained. Loved the site.
My only gripe is that the bathroom was not my favorite. While the structure was clean and stocked, the portable toilet wasn’t that clean and so low to the ground some people might have issues. Really, a honey bucket or a pit toilet would be a huge improvement.

Charmed idyl in PT biking distance
Very private site, about a mile or so from a trailhead that allows you to bike all the way in to Port Townsend in less than an hour, what's not to love? My friend and I enjoyed our time on the back acreage of this charming farm. The hosts note the airport and the near(ish) road in their listing as possible nuisances -- neither of which we found to be bothersome.
We appreciated the commode, in a nicely belt structure with clear use instructions. While some folks may prefer some of the amenities (plumbing) associated with a larger campground, we found that feeling like we were out in meadow with no one else in site was a treat that was worth the sacrifice! Loved seeing the cute animals, and though our paths never crossed with our hosts, we hope they know that we enjoyed our stay.
My friend and I enjoy coming out this way every year - we'll likely check on staying with this campground next summer!

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights here and it was the perfect spot for exploring Port Townsend and the Olympic Peninsula.
We were in site 2 though we had the place to ourselves. Campsites do seem to have plenty of space and privacy between them and the sweet foot paths throughout were perfect for morning and evening walks with the pup. The boat toilet was actually much easier to use than we expected and the automatic lights outside the well-appointed outhouse were a nice touch. Definitely would come back!
Pro Tip: enter the actual address in your gps instead of pulling up through the app which uses the coordinates. That will bring you to the actual driveway of the property.

Ronnie was great and fun to talk to on the way in. The campsites are simple grassy pads (worked well for tents). and away from each other. The toilet system worked really well. When we visited, the evening brought some mosquitos that required a tent (otherwise, a bag out on the grass would have been lovely in the warm night. There's a little traffic noise from the nearby road, but not enough to keep me from falling asleep quickly.

Ronnie is a wonderful host and the sites are well maintained, surrounded by natural beauty, and very private. We enjoyed seeing glimpses of the farm animals on the way in and out, and lots of wild birds. There is some traffic noise during the day, but it was quiet at night. It’s also easy to find from the directions, and everything is well labeled. We look forward to staying again!

Incredible site and welcoming host. This was our second time staying at Ronnie's property. We loved seeing the goats in the morning as we left to play gigs in Port Townsend and while we were at camp it was a lovely wildflower-dotted way to spend some time playing tunes and just relaxing with our pup. It does get quite hot in mid-July during the day, so we head out of camp early. We like the privacy of the farther space, but very little shade! Thanks again for an incredible stay and we hope to be back next time we are up north.

Got exactly what was advertised. Very easy to communicate with host. Toilet was different but very easy to use with instructions and it was more private than we anticipated, which was nice. Can't complain about a thing.
