This private corner site is tucked away from the view of the rest of camp, offering a quieter little escape surrounded by nature. Cross a small bridge and take a short walk into the tree line, where you’ll find a cozy space that feels all your own. 🌲 Just under 3 acres of land, backed up to 600 acres of forestry land — perfect for wandering, exploring, and soaking up the outdoors. There’s plenty to enjoy around Camp Wanderlust! During spring and summer, guests have access to our 32ft swimming pool via the backyard boardwalk. On-site amenities include porta potties, showers, and a shared “Mess Hall” equipped with tables, a fridge, microwave, and hot plate for easy camp cooking and gathering.

Located on the opposite side of the property from The Hideout, this secluded site offers a sense of privacy while still providing easy access to all of Camp Wanderlust's shared amenities. Wake to birdsong, wander beneath towering evergreens, and enjoy a campsite that feels like your own little corner of the forest. Just under 3 acres of camp back up to 600 acres of forestry land, giving you endless opportunities to explore, wander, and reconnect with nature. Really enjoyed our night on Sarah’s land. Unique and fun spot. Outdoor shower was great and loved the shady communal patio area in the morning.

Overall, it was a fun trip for kids. There was an outdoor pool we didn’t use, sandy area, toys/games and plenty of seating, and a mess hall with a hot plate and outdoor sink, which was convenient for washing dishes. The campsite felt quite exposed and lacked privacy, and I disliked having to park far from our site. Dogs barked all night, sprinklers were running, and lights shone into our tent, making it less ideal for those seeking an authentic camping experience. However, it’s a decent spot for a quick overnight stay.

This was our first time using HipCamp and it was such a great experience. Amanda’s camp has so many provided things ie shared kitchen, fridge, kids toys, etc and it all felt so welcoming.

Amanda's property is a gem of a camp. The mess hall had everything you could ever need and more than expected for tent camping (even a toaster!) to prepare food items. I came prepared to dry camp and were spoiled by the the amenities, like a fridge to store milk for our camp coffee. We enjoyed so many thoughtful details throughout & the property had a delightful whimsy to it. Amanda is so warm and kind and camp wanderlust is a safe and fun place to sleep under the stars. We will be back!

Amanda's hideout was a delight! It had so many fun things for the kiddo to enjoy, and they were amazingly friendly and welcoming. The fairy and gnome trail was an especially memorable adventure for our 2 year old.

Wonderful and peaceful place! I should have taken pictures, but I was too busy enjoying myself and relaxing. I brought my dog, who had plenty of space to roam on her long leash. The kitchen/mess hall with outdoor sink was so great to have! Amanda and her cousin help care for the property and are truly two gems on this earth. We will definitely be back. Got to hear two ravens fighting with a bald eagle in the morning. Very quiet little spot with many little touches of love.

The whole place to ourselves!

Amanda’s land is so cute! We stayed at the hideout for a little more privacy but we had the place to ourselves! There’s a cute bar (wasnt open), communal kitchen, showers, hang out areas, and an above ground pool. There were lots of little activities to do like badminton, pickleball paddles, tetherball, and a hammock! My only cons were that it could use some cleaning up, it’s a little difficult walking into the hideout, it probably needs a wooden walking path to be safer, I don’t think there was hot water and there’s only porta potties. Overall it was a fun little camping trip!
