Stephanieâs Hip Camp location is amazing! I would give her location and service a 100/10 every time. Our family has made countless memories at her camping spot and will make it part of our family tradition. The spot has the best access to the lake and the area is very beautiful. Stephanie goes above and beyond to give her guests anything that they need during their stay!

We had a great time at trails end! It was a little tight fit to get our 18 ft trailer and 2 tents, but totally doable. The lake is peaceful and warm... perfect place for SUP, kayaks, etc.

The hosts were amazing! Super friendly and welcoming! I really wanted to give a good review... If youâre looking to get out of the city to enjoy the peace and quiet this isnât the site for you. Itâs private in that you have your own spot behind a well fenced area. The dogs loved exploring! But itâs not quiet. The spot is right off the main road so you do hear cars (though itâs not super busy). You also hear the local dogs barking frequently, the roosters and kids playing. Unfortunately for the hosts (and potential guests) there is a house being built directly across the canal so we had construction noise on Saturday. By no means the fault of the hosts but the nail gun noise stressed the dogs (and wasnât super peaceful to listen to) so we left a day early and found another spot to camp. We did enjoy the access to the lake (the main reason for booking the site) and we were able to explore that before leaving!

This is a great private site. You will be woken up by roosters everyday. We brought in our own pop up camper and our friends stayed in the RV on site. The RV is old and run down but does the job. The site was on the canal and was fully fenced. You can walk to the nearby boat launch or paddle board down the canal to the main lake.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It was perfect for our needs. The property is safely enclosed for kids or pets. Being able to offer the kids the freedom of âfishingâ when they wanted right from camp, being able to launch and beach our kayaks and paddle boards and blow up boat without having to transport was amazing. This is a great option for families. The hosts were amazing and felt like family.
My sister and I, along with her three girls, had the best time this weekend and cannot wait to come back. The hosts are super friendly and honestly went above and beyond to make this a great weekend for us. The space is private, spacious and quiet. Itâs a perfect spot for a relaxing, even on a rainy Washington weekend like we had. 100% recommend

It was cold and rainy, but my fiance and I really wanted our monthly weekend away from kids and stress...
Normally, we'd just camp in the back of my minivan and cuddle to keep warm, but I found Stephanie's RV on hipcamp, and thought it might be just what we needed. It was perfect. Quiet and beautiful. We spent the night playing board games and, yes, cuddling. Even though her partner wasn't feeling well, they were both so welcoming and helpful. It was still camping in November, but with hot water and a heater, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will probably go back to them for every weekend away this winter. And the site has a fence, so my little dog had so much fun exploring without having to be tethered to me.

Cool spot! Well fenced in for our pup and pretty private. There is a main road right outside the space, so it isn't super quiet. The canal access was cool, as was the rowboat that was offered. Water was pretty murky, but nice once you got out to the lake. The RV itself is fun! Older, musky, not in tiptop shape, but we expected this and it was nicely nostalgic. Working toilet and shower, pretty comfy furniture, functional kitchen (minus the fridge). The DVDs we're a bonus, we watched several! Very easy to make yourself at home for a couple days of rustic glamping.
Excited for the owners to continue with evolving the space!

Host was super nice and helpful. The shade trees were great and we had a nice mix of sun and shade.
Unfortunately, we rented this site specifically to use the RV for my daughters family but it is musty and moldy on the inside so they did not feel comfortable sleeping in it. Shower didn't drain, fridge stopped working so we lost about $60 worth of meat and it wasn't clean.
The site had some old furniture laying around and is right on the main road going into the neighborhood. Just not the peaceful place we were expecting.
I loved the welcome from Stephanie and her daughter. Nice space for my grands to run around. Couldnât kept the tweens and young adults if the canoe they left for us to enjoy.
This is our second time staying at Stephanieâs Hipcamp location! There were zero issues with the accommodations. Stephanie was amazing and gave us the loan of a paddle board and her canoes, our kids had a great time! We plan on booking again soon!

Overall great experience. The location is idea with lakes all around. Stephanie even offered her paddle board and paddles. The RV could use a little updates; the fridge didnt work and the front and back lights in the rv didnt work.

Trails End Canal was a weekend to remember! The host Stephanie was very friendly and accommodating even with our large group size. My family of 13 had the best weekend! The spot held 4 tents creating a nice cozy set up. The added beds in the camper were perfect for those who needed to go to sleep earlier than the rest.
Every day, the canal/lake had something to offer - frogs, bats, trout, raccoons, birds, pigs, chickens and roosters! If you are looking for somewhere close to home but still get the camping feeling this is the place, especially if you have kids under 10. My niece couldnât stop begging to go paddle boarding down the canal to âhuntâ for frogs and the big trout, who she named Henry.
We will definitely be back! đŤśđťđâ¨

Camping was great. We have 3 boys (4,6,9). They loved going down the canal in our little aluminum boat and playing at the nearby beach.
Camper was a cozy place with lots of character that easily accommodated all 5 of us.
There is tons of stuff to do. I'd recommend the drive in movie theater (rodeo drive in) is about 20 minutes away. Hood canal is just at the bottom of the hill and Mason lake (both are about 5 mins).
Hosts were pleasant and respectful of our privacy.
Stephanie and his husband are really nice they have a problem with the reservation and they didn't know that we was coming but they prepare and clean everything to us.

Stephanie was an amazing host. We spent two nights on her property and she let our family use their paddle board which our boys loved. The WiFi was spotty (not her fault) and any issues that came up were addressed right away. We will be booking with her again.

We had a wonderful time at Stephanieâs place! The rv was so comfortable and well cared for. There were lots of great touches like beautiful crystals and potted plants that made the space feel very nice. Plus the location was amazing- right on the water with an enclosed fence around us for total privacy and ability to let our dogs off-leash safely.
Stephanie and her partner were terrific hosts who went above and beyond. They were flexible and accommodating when we arrived much later than expected. They also lent us an iron when we discovered the clothes weâd brought for the wedding we were attending had gotten wrinkled.
At one point the pilot light to the hot water went out (very common in RVs) and they immediately fixed it for us. All in all, they facilitated an excellent experience for us. They were warm and welcoming but also respectful of our space and privacy. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
The property is beautiful and the host was amazing! Love this place so much and canât wait to return!!
