This little cabin is a treasure. Carol (fifth generation Ronald resident) told me her grandfather built it. It is so cozy and full of love! Quirky as you would expect a 105 year old cabin to be, but lovely. Slept so well, enjoyed sitting on the covered front porch reading. So peaceful and quiet. Good DVD selection too! I will definitely be returning as I try to get to that area at least twice in the summer!

🍂Ronald Rustic Cabin our return fall trip did not disappoint! Beautiful Sunset, Gorgeous Fall Colors, Wonderful Company and Great Relaxation. Just what the doctor ordered.
Our return visit the cabin was just as we remembered. I think we will visit again next spring to see the flowers blooming 🌷

Carol’s cottage provided a lovely peaceful stay despite the little quirks that come with a 100 plus yr old simply built structure. Carol has taken care to provide all one may need to enjoy their stay, with lovely sun-capturing seating on both back and front porches, heaters galore, and lots of cozy bedding. I’m looking forward to returning.

Quiet location just outside of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Well-furnished with bed, electric heaters, microwave, fridge, hot shower, and more.

Compared to most campsites here, this old cabin is a pretty deluxe place to "camp". There's a bed, shower, kitchen, tv w/dvd player, and a portable heater. Even though it's in town with neighbors all around, it's surprisingly private and quiet. Although we slept inside, I would have felt very comfortable pitching a tent in the yard. Cute little porches on the front and back for hanging out. Only a mile or two outside of downtown Roslyn. Certainly not luxurious, but good value for simple accommodations.

Super cozy charming cabin in a beautiful peaceful area. Communication with host was excellent! We would definitely use this spot again if we are ever back in the area 🙂

This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a historic cozy, charming, and private place to stay in the area. The doors and floors may be a little wonky but that is part of the charm. This place had all that we needed for a relaxing weekend of escaping the daily hussle and bustle of life. It was lovely sitting on the porch, drinking coffee while watching the birds in the fruit trees and the deer grazing. Nightly I also enjoyed watching a few movies from the cozy couch. This Rustic Cabin is an easy walk to Coal Miner's trail and Old #3 Restaurant which has delicious food. Carol's daughter Shannon was super nice and helpful.
We are looking forward to our return visit, booked for October to view the fall mountain colors.

Darling little spot. Comfy bed, cozy furniture, nice hot water, charm galore. It’s exactly as advertised. Super communicative host. Our toddler loved the mini-orchard out front. Perfect for a quick stay granting easy access to Ronald and Roslyn. We have family nearby and we’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful home full of historical charm. We enjoyed the front porch while the storm rolled through the area. The mature fruit trees provided us breakfast and enough cover we felt "tucked away" from the street and any neighbors. We couldn't have asked for a nicer host. She heard we were in town for a wedding and brought over a full length mirror and a makeup mirror to help with the pre-wedding preening. The home has its 100 year old charm mixed with some modern-day amenities. We will definitely be coming back.

Carol’s property was perfect for my time in the mountains. It had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The dvd selection was on point. I would for sure stay here again if I’m in the area:)

Great little historic cottage right outside of Roslyn, very easy walk to the Coal Miner's Trail so you can walk into Roslyn proper if that's what you came for. Was lovely to sit on the porch and watch the birds in the fruit trees. Carol's daughter Shannon was super nice and helpful.

This is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a cozy, charming, private, and historic place to stay in the area. Shannon was communicative and responsive.
We enjoyed biking and hiking around the area and spent our evenings in nearby Roslyn.
There’s so much to explore, and we’ll definitely come back and stay in the Rustic in Ronald cottage soon!
