This property is a great camp for enjoying everything that Eastern Washington outdoors has to offer. The Columbia river is in the valley below which provides fishing and watersports. The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan.  This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Bring a field guide you will be happy you did.

The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. Must book horseback riding in advance. Philville is 3.85 miles from US 97 on state highway 153. Near Pateros wa., the property is ten acres and includes 3 acres of tent sites, 3 rv hookups and 3 cabin rentals. All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen. The site is at the very end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly. There is ample space for boat and trailer parking. There is a winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience. Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Alta Lake is a popular tourist area only 2 miles away. 4 miles away is Lake Pateros - home to many popular species of gamefish with massive runs of salmon passing eagerly anticipated each year in summer. The number in 2024 was over 500,000. Winthrop Wa. -a small western themed town is 30 miles away and a popular tourist destination. One of the most popular activities here is simply sitting in the river. We have a stunning swimming hole that is enjoyed by young and old. there are vertical bluffs across the river that are home to 60 bird species. A paradise for birders. Close to upland gamebird hunting on state land. The site also has historical significance being a site along the first wagon road into the Methow valley built in the 1800's

This is for the adventurous Hipcamper that appreciates the bumpy dirt road. Your Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla won't get you here. Cell service is limited. It is not recommended to arrive after sunset But it is so worth it. Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the west side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain. If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there. Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area. The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask! We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know. Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet. We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, Sagebrush Hollow is the place for you.

We do not take late comers as we are a farm and are early to bed and early to rise. I'm sorry! We are the third generation in this location and the great grandparents had the adjoining property. My father was born and died in this house, and I was raised here also. After teaching for 32 years my husband and I inherited the farm from my folks who have since passed. There are no orchards left on the property but we are moving on with a vegetable and flower garden, goats, chickens and a llama. We have a gorgeous view of Lake Chelan but can only offer dry camping at this time. Our area has a multitude of things to do!

Please message before booking to get a list of the requirements for winter months October 20th to April 1st. I had been searching for over 2 years for a property where I could make a difference in the environment and live in the wilderness. I was looking for water on a large tract of land that was remote. In 2017 I found the perfect property and to my dismay it had sold 2 days before I saw the listing. I was shocked because this was the perfect property. In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property. It had a private lake with fish. A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower. The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast. It was beautifully treed with just the right amount of open meadow and forest with Hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and Larch. How could this property be sold? I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year. After a year and a half had passed and my search continued I came across an advertisement for this magical property, it was up for sale again. I called the real estate agent immediately and found that an offer had been made but the buyers could not commit for 5 more months. I made an offer that day not really knowing how I was going to pull off the money. I knew this property was meant for me. I wrote the owner a letter explaining that I was a land steward and that this land would never be developed. I would be putting it in a land trust where no developers could put up condos. The owner happened to be a environmentally focused human and he ended up selling to me. Come to find out when I had first saw the property sold a year and a half before, that transaction had fallen through. The owner had just taken it off the market for the winter. You will absolutely love the magic of Nirvana Gardens. The quiet, the wild animals, the crystal clear lake, clean air, and relaxing healing atmosphere of the ultimate nature bath.

Gorgeous views, cozy tent. Lovely, caring hosts. You can't have open wood fires in the Methow valley, but the hosts have provided a gas fueled fire pit so you can sit around a fire under the stars. You can hike up to a stunning view of the mountains and the hills. It was heavenly.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this spot. So cozy and exactly what my soul needed that weekend. I loved watching the coyotes retreat to their dens in the morning, the raven that constantly visited the fence post, the sagebrush and rattling wind. The tent had EVERYTHING. I didn’t need half of what I packed. Amazing people who were wonderful communicators despite the service. I will absolutely be back here over and over again.

My husband and I enjoyed our time at the cabin! Jessica was very kind and made sure we were well taken care of. The campground is very kept. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing in the mornings with coffee. It is a very cute little place and we would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved this campsite! It was an adventure to get there and the views were so worth it! The host was very responsive and gave great directions on how to get there! Even with all the smoke from the fires the view was breathtaking! Definitely recommend anyone will love it!

Beautiful spot nestled between two vineyards with peaceful valley views. The site was quiet and relaxing. No hookups, but water and a clean porta potty were provided, which made it comfortable and easy. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a scenic, simple getaway.

Pretty solid stay. We had a big huge grassy area all to ourselves for our dogs. The showers were OK. It could be a little cleaner and the water pressure could be a little better but they were fine. The location was close to Winthrop or easy access to restaurants and pubs.

Once you wash ashore, safari the 18 acres of lush, shaded grass—a break from the desert terrain that makes a marvelous host to our campers and golfers out there. These fun facts aren’t only awesome to know—they’re exciting to participate in, too: Bridgeport State Park is home to four miles of hiking trails, 240 feet of dock, two launch pads for boats (don’t forget your waterskis), and amazing wildlife to watch. What’s more, this spot hosts natural enigmas called haystacks—volcanic formations that we find to be one of Mother Nature’s coolest masterpieces. Come see for yourself!

Bridgeport Campground

If you want wilderness, this isn't the place for you. If you want a relatively warm water summer swim hole with your tent or trailer alongside the water, go for it.
