Welcome to your rural escape! We have 2 RV pads available for guests with septic connections and potable water. Our property is located in the southern Okanagan highlands, with sunlight hours comparable to California! As it sits approximately 1200m elevation, guests can expect temperatures to be 7 to 10 degrees cooler than Osoyoos, which provides a nice escape from the desert heat. The property is 2km off Highway 3, so you can count on no road noise and great views! There are many recreational opportunities available in the area. Crown land is a 5 minute drive away. Conkle Lake is approximately 50 min drive for some excellent lake fishing. The Kettle River Recreation Area is where locals go to cool down while floating the river. Mt Baldy ski area is 40 minute drive with summer activities like scenic hiking, disc golf, horseshoes, volleyball and scenic chairlift rides. There are plenty of wildlife that come through, whitetail deer, coyotes, black bear, elk and the odd mule deer. Our local snowshoe hair and ground squirrels may give guests a surprise while having coffee in the morning. Across the road is a local park containing a small lake and marsh land, frequently the Red-winged Black birds can be heard singing. With only 2 pads occupied at a time, guests can expect to have the property mostly to them selves. We do have a tiny home near by that our family uses recreationally. There is a communal fire pit where guests can gather and share their adventure stories from the day. Bring your camp chair, we have the firewood provided! If there is a fire ban, guests are welcome to use their own CSA approved propane fire pits. Some local summer events include, Rock Creek Farmers Market May-October every Tuesday and Friday at Gyro Park and Rock Creek Fall Fair is the second weekend in September. The property is a quick 20 minute drive from South Okanagan wine country! Guests will be required to provide their own toilet with septic connection and pack out their garbage, there is no garbage collection on our property. Our sites are self check-in. We are available throughout your stay via HipCamp messages for any questions or assistance. We do have on-site assistance available in the case of an emergency or utility failure. getting below freezing temperatures We are 8 minutes north east of PRINCETON BC, or an hour south of Aspen Grove BC. Define ourselves as a Christian couple and a rabbit farm, that would like to share our area with people who enjoy getting into the forest. We do not have dogs, cats or other outside pets so we frequently see deer grazing on our landings. Our property is located 28 Km off the main Hwy 5A on a highways maintained gravel road, some potholes exist! Though we have 3 camping options to choose from, we will block off 2 so whomever books first has the entire site to themselves- and can make check in and check out times flexible. Camping options are a larger 24 ' Rv for families or groups that sleeps up to 6/ a smaller 22' RV trailer for singles or couples sleeps 3. In addition to the RV we have on grid and an off grid areas for tenting, your RV's or van-life if preferred. Our driveway climbs up 100 meters off Summers Cr Rd and is quite secluded. The camping area is like a triangle- a narrow driveway over our creek that opens to a landing 100 feet long and 50 feet wide at the opposite end. Beyond the landing we are all hills and valleys with LOTS of rocky areas to explore, the terrain is uneven so bring sturdy hiking boots. Our small Hidden Creek runs through the property and you can hear it at night. We have also developed 2 hiking trails -one 3 km and one 9 km, both follow our creek to the top of our mountain- that you can explore independently or join a guided hike. After your hike enjoy a soak in our mineral filled hot tub- yet please no soaps or shampoos- hot tubs are not like a Jacuzzi. A Jacuzzi might tolerate such chemicals and just fill up with fun bubbles, but hot tubs are different. The motors and filters might get clogged and ruin the tub. We fill the tub with spring water from our creek and we only add Epson salts. We also have a few older bikes you can use to ride to the beautiful 7 km long Missezula lake, 3 kms north. Or rent our 16' canoe/ life jackets included/ to go out on the lake. Missezula Lake is one of our favorite summer places to cool off! Princeton area is renown for Copper Mining and we have many green rocks on the ground everywhere that are copper! We have been told there are also a few old mining caves on, or above our property, we have so far located one.

Down a quiet dirt road in the hills above Princeton, Lakeview Ranch offers a little slice of paradise. The site is peaceful, private, and well maintained, offering just what you need, and nothing you don't. The outhouse is clean and closeby, there's a small cooking stand, and a table with four chairs. The property offers endless exploration activities from hiking into the hills, or walking around the beaver pond. Or, wander a bit farther and look for fossils or go for a swim in the Similkameen River just a quick walk or drive away. Or, just relax on the dock and look for the beavers. Beyond the beavers, numerous other wildlife viewing opportunities exist from squirrels running about, to hearing the coyotes howl in the distance at night. Angelique is an amazing host offering great directions to the property and to nearby attractions, as well as thoughtfully including some extras knowing I was visiting on a motorcycle. I highly recommend staying at Hammock Ranch, and would happily do so again.

Such a peaceful spot with gorgeous lake views, sunsets were amazing! At night it’s dark enough for stargazing, and we fell asleep to crickets (and even spotted an owl). The site is private, right by the riding ring and close to the donkeys. Deborah is a wonderful host and even shared veggies and pears from her garden. Great RV setup with power, water and a picnic table and so close to wineries, bistros, beaches, and Penticton. We’ll be back!

The campsite boasts a stunning mountain-ringed location and offers all the essential amenities, including clean wash basins, a versatile water hose, and a spotless shower room. We arrived late, and his dad kindly assisted us with lighting for our tent setup. The site features ample parking, a powered electrical pole with multiple outlets, and a strong sense of security. It's an ideal, family-friendly spot in Osoyoos that I highly recommend and would gladly visit again.

We absolutely LOVED staying on Kathy’s property. It’s set back from the road enough that traffic noise is minimal. The bathroom was very clean and has nightlights, making it easy to find in the dark. All of the sites are right beside each other along the riverside of the property. When we arrived, Kathy recommended we move from site 2 to site 7, which was further away from the kids playground and right next to the communal “patio” and also in the shade for most of the day. She also provides a common area that is great with benches and tables and a barbecue! It was great to have a full cooking space and a shady place to eat in the summer heat. A lovely collie came to greet us and was super gentle with our senior Dachshund. We forgot ice on our 2nd night and it was great that Kathy had bags of ice to sell to us for $5/bag! Nighttime was glorious, very little light pollution and a sky full of stars and shooting stars. I highly recommend this site, and we will stay here again for sure!!

Our lake belongs to the beavers and ducks more than the humans. It’s an amazing place to watch, while swimming is best done at the river, a 5min drive away or half hour walk. A hike through the woods affords many opportunities to discover secret spots carved out of the wilderness with private views of the lake and surrounding properties. The rare wildlife around includes bobcats, bears, cougars, deer, elk and the occasional wolf. Ermine, rabbits and grouse are also common sightings. We have 2 dogs and appreciate a chance to introduce them to your dogs so they understand you’re authorized visitors, once you’ve settled in and your animals are comfortable. Sleep Under the Stars in Our Magical Dome or Camp Spots! Disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life and reconnect with nature in this peaceful dome located in Kaleden, BC. The dome is on 10 acres and borders 350 acres of crownland to explore. Includes a hangout area with a fire pit, patio table and chairs, solar lights, and an outdoor cooking area. We also have a Spot for RV's and camper vans to park for the night. **This is a rustic off-grid glamping experience with access by 1 km of gravel road. The shower is across from the outhouse and has heated water. Work in Progress: This is our first year open, and we're still in the process of developing the retreat. As a result, you may notice some piles of sticks and dirt. Off-Grid Living: Please note there is no cell service or Wifi at the dome. The course features elevated tees, strategically bunkered greens and fairways, and water hazards on four holes. Multiple tee blocks on each hole ensure all players are challenged yet provides optimal playability. The course features pine, fir, and numerous deciduous trees and a variety of wildlife to complement the mountain scenery. In the clubhouse, you will find the concession/snack shack offering good food, friendly service, and a variety of local wines and micro-brewed beers. The outdoor patio provides a relaxing place to take in the incredible view overlooking the 1st, 9th & 10th holes. Twin Lakes Golf Resort also features an RV Park, only a nine iron from the 1st tee. Nearby you’ll find trout-stocked lakes, hiking & biking trails, sandy beaches, nighttime entertainment, and over twenty local wineries all within a 20-minute drive. The course is nestled in the South Okanagan 20 Km’s southwest of Penticton, BC, or 35 miles north of the Canada/US border at Osoyoos.
