Down a quiet dirt road in the hills above Princeton, Lakeview Ranch offers a little slice of paradise. The site is peaceful, private, and well maintained, offering just what you need, and nothing you don't. The outhouse is clean and closeby, there's a small cooking stand, and a table with four chairs. The property offers endless exploration activities from hiking into the hills, or walking around the beaver pond. Or, wander a bit farther and look for fossils or go for a swim in the Similkameen River just a quick walk or drive away. Or, just relax on the dock and look for the beavers. Beyond the beavers, numerous other wildlife viewing opportunities exist from squirrels running about, to hearing the coyotes howl in the distance at night. Angelique is an amazing host offering great directions to the property and to nearby attractions, as well as thoughtfully including some extras knowing I was visiting on a motorcycle. I highly recommend staying at Hammock Ranch, and would happily do so again.

We had a great stay at Hammock Ranch! Angelique was very helpful and welcoming. The site was very quiet and had excellent dark skies for star watching at night. We hiked to the Similkameen river for swimming and biked around the area. We would definitely come back again!
Calm & quiet location away from people. Hidden gem just 20 minutes from Princeton. Perfect if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

The owner/operator is very nice and all of the shared information is accurate. For our stay they graciously kept their dogs away from us letting our dog have free space to roam and play which was appreciated.
We added on the vanilla/rhubarb jam which was very good and highly recommended. For the maps with access to the river locally, we had some hesitation due to land access concerns (which may just be us being cautionary) so we opted to pop out to Bromley Rock which was only 30 minutes away and very nice.
The surroundings of the property is very pretty but note it's a lived in site, there are seacans, a bus, etc and the site is a bit open. Wasn't an issue for us but think it's important to mention incase you are wanting a fully natural area.
The host was very friendly and did meet us to help find the site when we arrived after dark. The singing birds in the morning was one of the best ways to wake up!

Very quiet and a peaceful get away. The lake is lovely and the place isn’t to far from the main town
What a place! Our group arrived wiped from a busy cycling trip and was greeted with a clear, clean, thoughtful campsite. The driving directions were excellent (trust the waypoint markers!) and the location was perfect. We had a great stay and I’ll absolutely recommend this spot to friends traveling looking for a scenic place to land.
The outdoor kitchen hut was perfect and there’s a small composting outhouse just a short walk away from the site.
Such a lovely, tranquil getaway. The property is beautiful! Host Angelique is warm and friendly, making the stay extra comfortable with little touches that improve the stay. The homey outhouse they’ve built is the nicest I’ve ever seen! We opted to add on the farm fresh eggs and jam — did not disappoint! 10/10 recommend staying here!

We had a really great time staying on Angelique’s property! It was stunning and so peaceful. We especially enjoyed the hammock to chill out in on the hot afternoons. Angelique was very friendly and welcomed us, but also provided us with some great local tips. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a fun weekend away off grid!

This is an awesome place to stay! Only one campsite on a huge property. Nice and private place with friendly hosts that encourage exploring and have lots of great info, suggestions, and stories about the area. Hope to come back again soon :)
Lovely little spot, it was so nice to be able to let my dogs explore off-leash. There are a few friendly horses that you can see and visit from the site. Lots of little trails to explore on the property. The lake/pond area is not easily accessible but it is beautiful to look at (there is a dock but it’s very marshy).
The site comes with a table and four chairs and a small uncover kitchen/cooking area. The outhouse was super clean and a two minute walk from where you set up your tent.
Can’t wait to return!

Angelique sent us very precise directions on how to find the spot on their property which was very helpful! The views were gorgeous and there were a few spots we could explore around the lake. It was lovely to meet them both!
This is a little piece of paradise. Very calm and you are surrounded by nature. There are alot of little spots to be discovered on the property that are just magical. The host is more then helpful and has lovely stories to tell. Highly recommend!
