There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from.
Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.

Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. The Portal is 18 feet long and 8 feet wide and is your very own private space. There is a fancy outhouse that flushes water and is equipped with a sink. This space is best suited for a single, a couple, and possibly a fur baby and/or little one.
We are located on a quiet residential street 20 minutes from Port Alberni and en route to Tofino or Ucluelet. We have walking and mountain biking trails minutes from the house.
If you are bringing a fur baby, please let us know. It must be on a leash at all times. Please bring your fur baby's favourite blanket or bed to sleep on. We kindly ask that you keep your fur baby off the furniture and bed, and that you please not leave your pet unattended.
The Portal has internet and spotty cell service. There is an outlet for charging, etc. Parking is on-site. Local food options include the "The Fish & Duck Pub" which is just a short walk away. Call Doordash to deliver a meal from one of our local restaurants, such as Sproat Lake Landing, or bring a picnic to enjoy.

Our property spans 19 beautiful acres with panoramic lake views, located just minutes from historic downtown Salmon Arm. The foreshore trail runs below the property which is great for walking or biking through the bird sanctuary and over the boardwalks
Each site includes a picnic table and a wood-burning fire pit (for use when permitted). Guests also have access to a communal outdoor kitchen area with a dishwashing station, fridge, barbecue, and smoker. Potable water, a washing machine and hot showers are included in the nightly rate. We provide clean porta-potty toilets. Trash removal is the responsibility of each guest. The sites are natural and mostly level they are not manicured.

Hiking, biking and horse-riding trails start right from the property so you are always close to a new wilderness experience. Or get involved with our

such as horseback riding, riding lessons for kids, archery and hiking to make the most of your time at the ranch. Visiting our animals or watching the local wildlife roam in our horse pasture is a great way to get back to basics and enjoy ranch life. In the winter you can ice-fish or explore the area on snowshoes or cross-country skiing.
Trails in and out of South Chilcotin Mountain Park lead right to our ranch, making it an ideal spot to begin your adventure or rest before heading home. You’re welcome to leave your car here during your backcountry stay.

Our ranch is on Gun Creek Road, close to Tyax Lake, 30 minutes from Gold Bridge and Bralorne. It is about 2 hours west of Lillooet or north of Pemberton (6 hours from Vancouver) on a remote road with paved and gravel sections and no cell service.
There is no cell service or TV at our location. Wi‑Fi is usually available but cannot be guaranteed due to weather and other natural factors outside our control. We have access to a landline if urgent calls need to be made.
You are responsible for leaving the cabin/your room and the area around it clean and free of food and garbage. Each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabins when they leave, such as doing the laundry, washing all dishes. At the end of your stay, please bring all garbage to the main house so we do not attract critters and bears.
We live in a true wilderness environment. The cabin water system uses filtered creek water and, though not common, there is always the possibility for water pressure to fluctuate.
Weather and other variables can change quickly in the mountains. We expect guests to approach challenges with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset and to be respectful of nature, other guests and our team. We are experienced in dealing with nature’s challenges and will find a solution together.

We had such an amazing weekend at Whonnock Willow Farm and Campground! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by incredible trees and scenery, but what really made the experience special were the hosts, Kathy and Craig.
They were genuinely some of the warmest and most welcoming hosts we've ever had. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, while still giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy our weekend. Kathy's recommendations were fantastic, and Craig was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. He even noticed I had burned my hand and surprised me with a pair of fireproof welding gloves when we left. Such a thoughtful gesture that we'll never forget!
Being able to rent a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard right on the property and walk through the forest to the lake was the perfect addition to the weekend.
We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back, whether it's just the two of us or with friends. Kathy and Craig, thank you for making our weekend so memorable. We highly recommend Whonnock Willow to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway with truly wonderful hosts!

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins
The place was exactly described as mentioned in the listing. It has everything, literally you dont have to bring anything other than bedding. ( bedding also available for extra charge) there is a nice trail you can explore. There are couple of old trees more than 400 years old. Micheal was super friendly and a great host. If you are looking for a quiet gateway this place is a gem. And cultus lake 5 mins away. 30-40 mins drive for other major attractions. Will come back again. Thanks Micheal for having us.

Michael is such a kind and welcoming host!
We were lucky enough to be offered an early check-in, which we really appreciated. We understand this was only possible because the cabin hadn’t been booked the night before, but it was such a lovely start to our stay.
Michael was wonderful to chat with and went above and beyond to help us with our extra needs. He shared a great range of activities and recommendations for exploring the area, which we really appreciated.
We were also lucky enough to meet his beautiful neighbours, who were incredibly kind and even helped our family when we ran into some car trouble. It was such a lovely reminder of how welcoming and helpful people can be.
The cabin itself is a rustic, homely little haven. We were very comfortable throughout the rainy days, and it was well equipped, easy to cook in and simple to keep clean.
We loved the spacious bedroom and the comfortable beds (we brought our own linen). The toilet facilities were easy to use and very clean, and I noticed they were refreshed daily, which was a lovely touch.
The shower was another highlight. There’s something truly special about enjoying a hot shower under the stars — such a lush experience!
We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated Michael’s warmth, generosity and the peaceful, homely feel of the cabin. Thank you for making our time there so comfortable and memorable!

John and Michelle were amazing hosts. The tiny house was extremly clean as well as the outhouses. We spent 1 week there and it was such a beautiful get away.
