Our campsite is located along the beautiful Spillimacheen River, in Spillimacheen BC which is 20mins south of Golden BC and 30mins north of Radium Hot Springs BC.
This property is very secluded and surrounded by crown land. It’s the perfect property to disconnect and reconnect, with limited cell service this allows you to turn off and just enjoy being outside in nature.
Campers can choose where to park along a large cleared area. There are designated campfire locations and an outhouse. From the property, you can Kayak down the river, please Google and research before launching as there are a lot of writes ups and kayaking websites that feature the Spillimacheen River.
Nature trails for hiking and walking right off the property. There is a well renowned natural rock wall for climbers 3km down the road, there are also a lot of websites that feature these rock walls.
Within a half an hour drive you have two easy hikes in waterfalls (the Lower Bugaboo Falls and the Brisco Falls).
Spillimacheen has a cafe and also a local market store that is full of delicious treats, beer and wine. The wetlands offer endless bird watching and beautiful mountain views.
If you require firewood you must order ahead of your stay. On site purchases are not available. We deliver the bundles the day of your arrival.

We bought this property in 2008 as raw land with an old off-grid 1950's cabin on it. While the log structure was sound, the cabin needed some major renovations to be liveable. We undertook renovations, lived in it for 6 months and then moved into a yurt on a more accessible section of our property. We now run the cabin as a short term rental, have another small rental next to our house and we are using the yurt for gatherings, retreats and yoga classes!

Our ranch is on Gun Creek Road, close to Tyax Lake, 30 minutes from Gold Bridge and Bralorne. It is about 2 hours west of Lillooet or north of Pemberton (6 hours from Vancouver) on a remote road with paved and gravel sections and no cell service.
There is no cell service or TV at our location. Wi‑Fi is usually available but cannot be guaranteed due to weather and other natural factors outside our control. We have access to a landline if urgent calls need to be made.
You are responsible for leaving the cabin/your room and the area around it clean and free of food and garbage. Each guest is responsible for cleaning the cabins when they leave, such as doing the laundry, washing all dishes. At the end of your stay, please bring all garbage to the main house so we do not attract critters and bears.
We live in a true wilderness environment. The cabin water system uses filtered creek water and, though not common, there is always the possibility for water pressure to fluctuate.
Weather and other variables can change quickly in the mountains. We expect guests to approach challenges with a positive, solution‑oriented mindset and to be respectful of nature, other guests and our team. We are experienced in dealing with nature’s challenges and will find a solution together.

• A cozy pavilion with power and heat, shared access to a washroom and outdoor shower, and its own small fridge, hot plate, and BBQ.
• A bedroom in the main cabin for up to two guests, with shared access to a bathroom in the cabin.
All guests are welcome to use the common kitchen, located at the top of the property.
Guests are also welcome to use the two kayaks and two paddleboards provided by the owners.
There are plenty of scenic trails, hidden bays, and beautiful viewpoints to explore nearby, as well as throughout the Sunshine Coast. Madeira Park and Pender Harbour are both only about 20 minutes away by car.

Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks.
Unfortunately due to a few incidents where campers did not follow the leash rule, we are no longer permitting dogs on the farm. Cats on leash will be accepted.
We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 4 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay.
Should you find that your desired dates are already booked, please reach out to us as we may have a back up spot available.
Please keep in mind we are an organic farm homestead that offers an agritourism experience. We are not a manicured campground :) Your camping fees go directly to support our aging farm animals and horses. We also offer firewood for sale $10/bundle. (Please check if there is a fire ban)

A very remote, tranquil log cabin fishing camp hand-built in the 1960's. Akehurst Lake Wilderness Resort is only accessible by ATV (snowmobile in winter) or by foot (a 9-minute walk from the parking lot). There is no public access to the lake so it is wonderfully private & peaceful.
We offer 5 cabins in total with some areas suitable for tents.
There is a day-lodge with a kitchen and eating area for guest's use, kayaks, row boats, and a paddle board free for use as well as a wood-fired sauna!
The lake is excellent for swimming. It is feet-friendly, shallow, and has no sudden drop-offs. And if you like to hike, fish or BOTH then this is the place for you. There are many nearby lakes that are a short drive/ride and hike away!
Akehurst Lake does not have cell service or wifi. Lights are made possible by a gas generator in the evening. There is only cold running water in the day-lodge sink which is seasonal and depends on if the creek is running. Guests should be comfortable being in the woods and aware that if no one else is there, they will need to light the stove and fridge and operate the generator if needed.

We made a two day getaway to Salmon Arm. The Heritage Golf Course at Salmon Arm Golf Club was only a short drive away.
Cabin #2 was fairly new and super clean. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful to answer any questions. We had a campfire and the wood was provided.
We highly recommend this cabin.

This was a lovely spot we found last minute, host was friendly and accommodating and responded quickly. We appreciated the fenced in garden space for our dog and the extra touches of the outdoor kitchen and although we didn’t use shower house.. we definitely will next time when we cone back for a mtb adventure with property so close to trails. Love that this is a farm animal sanctuary and proceeds go back into caring for the animals. We’ll be back.

We bikepacked from Vancouver to Saltspring island and absolutely loved our stay at Rejeanne’s mossy forest site! Rejeanne provided us with fresh drinking water to fill our bottles and stay hydrated. The site is very quiet, secluded and peaceful. Perfect for hammocking and relaxing after a long day of biking

We had a lovely stay at Jan's spot. Great vista, plenty of room, super clean and well-maintained site. Jan checked in on us and we felt super cared for. We even had the whole lake to ourselves in the morning - absolutely stunning location!!!

Campsite is located only 15 mins away from the ferry terminal. Site is big and can accommodate bigger group although there was only the 2 of us plus our dog.
We loved the covered outdoor kitchen space and wooden platforms to pitch our tent on. Place is quiet and have great privacy. Would love to be back!

2 nights at The Camp at Kitchensink Farm
Such a beautiful stay in one of my favourite places!
I’m so incredibly grateful to have found this spot. The camper was cute and had everything we needed to enjoy meals and sleep comfortably. My dogs were able to have a little yard and we set up a propane fire to enjoy under the stars.
The property itself is stunning and close to all your needs. Gumboot cafe, the pier, beaches, Sunday cider, trails as well as a good proximity to explore more of the coast on little day adventures. We also really enjoyed going to Jeans organic foods which was super close and had so many vegan grocery items and other tasty things which was helpful and healthy. I of course had to visit some thrift shops which also were very accessible.
The sanctuary for the rescued animals was my favourite. So much love and compassion and patience and empathy go into providing for these deserving lives. It was truly heartwarming and definitely filled my cup seeing what Kitchensink has done in creating a safe and nurturing space but most of all, a second chance.
I highly recommend a stay here. The fact that it goes towards helping this sanctuary provide is even more of a reason other than it just being complete serenity.
Thanks so much again for the hospitality and kindness and for trusting us in this paradise you have created. We felt at home!

Beautiful, quirky little spot that felt very off the beaten path and amid lots of nature. The cabin was really well stocked and had everything we could have needed. Not far from Golden which has shops and amenities. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a really lovely stay in Rejeane's Forest. Water was supplied and the outhouse was nearby. The campsite was easy to find and the road that it is off of is very quiet. Everyone was very friendly and she was a really prompt, and accommodating host with a beautiful little forest for us to enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would love to come back!
