We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace & quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest & bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer & fall & world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off and undercut banks.
ATV's are idle in - idle out.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 9 AM and 8 PM.
WATER: We do have a non-potable water tap in the park. I'm not allowed to say that the water at the waterfall/creek is good water - so I won't.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

3) When you book, One tent or RV and one vehicle per site. If you are looking to book for a group of friends/family area, we can help with that.. prior to booking.
Also, we reserve the right to put you in the best possible spot to fit in a proper site for what you are camping in and what your needs are. Often people book a site that’s completely wrong for them… but that’s ok… we will fix it. 😊
4) Smoking only on sand at sites and nowhere else on our property Please use a container to hold your butts.
5) Noise restrictions after 9pm…no music or loud behaviour after that. Strictly enforced. We value respect in the camp for all campers.

This is a quiet forested residential area in Sinixt territory. Recommended activities include floating down the river, canoeing the lake, hiking or climbing in Valhalla Park, soaking in Halfway Hot Springs or indulging in Nelson. We are surrounded by beautiful mountains and rivers. This valley has many outdoor activities and events and a very interesting history and culture including Sinixt, Doukhobor, Cannabis and Conscientious Objector. Nelson, Castlegar and Slocan Lake are all a half hour drive away. There are many other special places nearby such as the Goddess Pools and the Emerald Pools.
Supplies and services are available nearby including firewood, toiletries, dog day care, massage, bike and canoe rentals, life jackets, rubber dingys and paddles etc. Let us know if you would like a referral to any of these services. There are many guides available for activities in the area including (water sports, climbing, skiing, hiking, artist tours, events, geology, mining, mushrooms, cannabis, garden tours and native history). You don't need one to get here, but its good to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for some of the logging roads that are worth visiting. Roof and/or bike racks can also come in handy. The Vallican Whole Community Centre also has events nearby.

We have Glamping tents as well - we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items! They are situated beside the river, with a eating bar overlooking the river and with beautiful views. For the romantic couple - but we also can accomodate a small child (inquire).
Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire)
The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk.
We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi that you can use.
Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug.
We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, wine tastings and more!
The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here.

Haabanagan Lake is a 1/4 section of land on the banks of the Beaton Valley that is home to the Haab Family, a business, and a wedding venue. There are ponds and bridges, a lake with a canoe, pastures with horses and dairy cow, trails and ravines, a field, an apiary, gardens, a sauna, flushing toilet outhouses, and a gorgeous view of the valley. In the summer we love growing fresh veggies and fruits for whoever happens to be hanging out at the pond to enjoy. We are beekeepers, fun makers, beach bums, aviators, Jesus lovers, and project starters! Haabanagan Lake is a peaceful oasis just a few km off the Alaska Hwy.

Private sites of various sizes, river trails, and mostly treed space. Relaxed and community oriented.
Note we are off-grid with no hook-ups of any kind.
Peaceful Vibes Campground is place to relax and enjoy the most remote part of the Shuswap Lake.
There are trails to explore, a river to play in, and we are 6mins from town of Seymour Arm and 6mins from a fantastic beach (silver beach--see pics below).

Hosts are amazing, everything is very clean and tidy, the sites are very well kept, the outhouse was the cleanest ever, and there is a lovely path in a small forest to get to the lake that was worth the stroll!

It was my second time visiting this hipcamp! It was nice to be in a beautiful and familiar spot. The other campers were friendly and I appreciated having the building to take cover in when a rainstorm came through. Nicely situated in between Slocan Lake and Nelson, giving you the chance to explore some great spots in either direction.

We had a great time. We were prepared for being completely self-contained and having electricity at the site allowed us to recharge--a very nice bonus!
The hosts were helpful and cheerful. The spots next to the river were nice.

We loved Catherines camp site it was very clean and near the lake . The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The visit by Mini the mascot dog was especially welcoming ! 5 star camp site for sure !! 👌

We had a fantastic stay at Catherine’s land! The host was super friendly, extremely welcoming, and helped us out so much during our visit. The location is lovely, peaceful, and well-maintained. Highly recommend staying here—we’d love to come back again!

It was a great central location to camp while exploring the Campbell River / Comox area. Paul was super friendly and accommodating. The outhouse was clean and no too unpleasant to use. The site (we had no. 1) was a bit shady and basically a blackberry bramble, and close to the road so we had traffic noise throughout. Also we arrived past 9pm on our first night and because of the first come first serve structure, we didn’t have a reserved site. Someone had snuck onto the property and set up their tent so we had to camp in the field the first night. Paul refunded us so that felt fair. The site was missing a picnic table and we would have loved a shower but all in it was a nice stay. We loved the beach walk nearby at sunsets. Just awesome.

We needed a quick overnight spot near the comox ferry at this place was great, it had everything we needed and was beautiful. Also good communication and we were able to do a late check-in, which was nice since we had much ferry delay over the day and we arrived only late.

Paul is a good friendly human! Me and my two friends stayed out there for two nights and it was very easy, relaxed, and safe!
Very lively in nature! We had so many dragonflies pop by and hangout inches away and there is a nature trail near by that connects to the ocean

This was such a great find! Quiet and cozy, Colin was lovely and no crowding! Its basic but has everything needed for a few nights, especially with the swimming spots close by to wash off after a day of hiking! Loved the sky viewing and my pup loved meeting the cows!

What a cute little site! Well maintained site and getting to watch the cows out in the field was wonderful. Check in was super easy with us just needing to roll up and unpack, but it was super nice of Colin to come check in on us each evening. Would highly recommend this site for anyone looking to stay in the Comox Valley, especially if you plan on spending your time at Saratoga beach (my fav)

Nice, private sites on a beautiful property. The pit toilet and dish sink were rustic, but well kept. We loved the 5-minute walk to Mattone, a delicious Italian restaurant on the water, as well as the beach and trail. We were really grateful that we landed here, as all the camgrounds in the area were booked. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Highly recommend!

Great spot for a simple, nature-focused trip. The campsite is a nice, open field with excellent signage and picnic table provided —ideal for those who don’t mind basic facilities in exchange for a quiet, scenic location. Close to town if you don't feel like camp cooking and want to go get dinner. A solid choice for easy camping.

Our stay at Paul's campground was great! We would love to come again! We stayed in #2 and #5.
Ace and Boyd greeted us when we arrived and helped orient us to the sites.
The absolute best feature was the night sky. We could see the Milky Way!
We brought badminton rackets with light-up birdies and glowing LED frisbees to play on the field at night. We had lots of fun with friends and family!
