Rosebud Lake Campground Nature. Restoration. Reconnection. Tucked in the heart of the Kootenays and just 25 minutes south of Salmo, Rosebud Lake Campground is a pristine lakeside forest sanctuary designed for rest, regeneration, and reconnection. Our offgrid campground blends accessibility with ecological integrity, inviting you to experience the magic of nature uninterrupted. Located adjected to Rosebud Lake Regional Park, we serve as an ecotourism hub for conscious travelers and local nature lovers alike. We steward the land using permaculture and regenerative design principles, nurturing native habitats for local birds, turtles, plants, and other wildlife. This is our living vision of restoration, where we hope to be an example for how others can care for their land. Campground Amenities: • Tent sites, car camping, group camps, and self-contained RVs (no hookups) are available for rent for up to 10 days (for longer stays, please reach out directly). There is only a communal fire pit, and no tables in sites • 2 private beachfront lake access points, perfect for launching your kayak, paddleboard, or floating device • Swimming with the whole family, fishing on the lake stocked with trout, birdwatching, forest bathing, wildflower + berry picking • Maintained gravel road for easy access by motorcycles + camper vans • Flush toilets, a communal picnic area and fire pit with beautiful lakeside mountain views Campground Experiences: • Jumping into the warm spring fed lake • Plant walks and foraging • Self-Lead yoga to complete your relaxation time • Forest Bathing with a Digital Detox from your daily grind • Journaling, meditating, or napping in the pristine forest soundscape Campground House Rules: • NO Motorized boats (including electric) • NO Soaps or surfactants in the lake (including biodegradable) • NO Cell service or Wi-Fi (we call that a digital detox) • NO Noise after 11 p.m. • NO Glass containers on the beach or beyond your campsite • Please dont feed the turtles or wildlife Want to host your own group or retreat?     Rosebud lake is beautiful and calm. The Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. It was quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed our stay.

    If you are in an RV...nothing special about this HipCamp. It's a field with an old, abandoned bus. That's it and for that I feel it was way over-priced. Also, be aware that it is right on the US-Canada border and not in Salmo.

    Owner was very friendly and helpful. This is a small campground, but perfect for a quiet stay. Would have like to have spent a little more time there.

    Absolutely stunning views, the campsites are adorable, and the lake is very refreshing and nice. Great spot if you are looking to unwind. Be mindful there is no cell service.

    **** quadruple stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 Beyond special (I asked my girlfriend to marry me there) the hosts went over and above to make our evening fantastical. The lake is better than any lake as well (that helps) highly recommend

    The lake was super cute and the attendant was lovely and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, The camp spot was just very simple, no picnic table no fire pit, no nothing. Just basically a spot to park my van. It felt a bit expensive for what we got. Luckily my van is well equipped and I have a table and chairs. But if you were camping light in a tent, you would basically have to prep your food on the ground or the hood of your car. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are in an RV and want to just disconnect for a couple nights away from cell service. There were hundreds of turtles in the lake and was great for paddle boarding. But if you are tent camping and hoping to have a classic camping set up provided, you may be disappointed.

    Such a beautiful spot! The lake was perfect for swimming and paddle boarding and there were lots of ways to go on long walks in nature. Krystal and Che were welcoming and helpful. We hope to be back! Thank you, Krystal and Che.

    We loved staying at Che‘s campsite. The view is incredible and the campsite very clean and quiet and the host is super friendly. Would definitely recommend.

    We where there on 13 of july at Hipcamp Che's land without à reservation and Che find us 2 places for RV . Nice place, quiet view on the Lake . 👍👍👍
