Set on 55 acres of rolling hillside in the community known as Wynndel B.C., Blacktail Ridge is a quick 15 min N of Creston and only 20 min S of Kuskanook Harbour. Our large campsites provide plenty of space and privacy. There are only 6 sites available as the Deer, Elk, wild Turkey were here first!Overlooking the Creston Valley, and nestled on the hill side Blacktail Ridge is a exclusive campground with only six sites on 55 acres. Located 10 minutes north of Creston, Wynndel is a quaint village with a wholesome lifestyle. With Kootenay Lake just minutes away, Wynndel is a perfect haven for lake lovers of all ages. This serene setting is the perfect way to spend a family vacation, reunion or to stay with friends. You can pitch a tent, set up an RV, or bring your own camper. Located on 55 acres of rolling hills, and forest, you are likely to see Deer, Elk, and Wild Turkeys in the early morning or evening hours. Our campsite is a beautiful spot for experancing all the Kootenays have to offer. From boating on Kootenay lake, touring local Wineries, Hunting and Fishing, or exploring local hiking trails. Experience nature at its best!

Amazing nighttime views. The fairly lights around the site were lovey. Our host offered to start a fire in advance of our arrival, but we were too pooped to accept the offer. Nice clean showers and privy.

Magical little space.

Debbie and Dean were amazing hosts! Super friendly and very helpful for me traveling on my motorcycle. The view from my site was absolutely stunning, I could look at for hours. My dinner guests included wild turkeys and their chickens.. loved it. Great little store at the bottom of their road to get food and gas. Thanks again guys for sharing this awesome place you have . Scott
