Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Part of the road is a dirt road and a bit bumpy, best for cars that don't mind roughing it a little bit. You also lose service 5 minutes outside of Lillooet. The property is surrounded by private lots. You can explore ours down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horsehoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more.
This is a somewhat rustic and rugged spot- if you are looking for fancy glamping this is not the space for you! Vancouverites, you've been warned!

Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. Part of the road is a dirt road and a bit bumpy, best for cars that don't mind roughing it a little bit. You also lose service 5 minutes outside of Lillooet. The property is surrounded by private lots. You can explore ours down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horsehoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more.
This is a somewhat rustic and rugged spot- if you are looking for fancy glamping this is not the space for you! Vancouverites, you've been warned!

Welcome to Goonieland. We are an off-grid Permaculture farm perched on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. We are conveniently located between Yoho and Glacier National Parks, 20 minutes from Golden BC. The sauna campground is in a meadow above our farm with mountain views and creeks nearby.
The purpose of Goonieland is to learn, practice and teach permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and natural law, while moving towards sovereignty, intentional community, and ecosystem restoration.
We open our land to our fellow freedom fighters and folks walking the road toward a regenerative future and self-responsibility. We have two tenting sites, a glampervan, a glamping bell tents (on Airbnb), with a shared wood-fired sauna!

We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Add in the easy check-in/out, quick responses to questions and friendly host means I will be back!

We did end up booking a tour with them of their place which was truly spectacular and original. Me and my parter have already discussed when we will return next. Absolutely phenomenal experience. Claire provided clear, thoughtful, and detailed instructions and information every step of the way, from our questions prior to booking, to the instruction booklets on site that ensured a stress free stay. The property itself was very easy to find and navigate, and the treehouse was absolutely magical. You can feel the love and care that the hosts have put into the property in every detail, and we felt as though they covered every aspect of comfort we could possibly ask for, providing plenty of wood, blankets, and simple, but much appriciated amentities. The treehouse is also within comfortable walking distance from the parking area but is still private, which allows for the most breathtaking and scerene viewing of the mountains and birds in the area. I can't say that I have ever stayed somewhere that has compared to this, and would easily choose this experience over any luxury hotel, even considering our snowy morning. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, and would definitely recommend booking two or more nights so you can take advantage of the hiking trails and appreciate it too it's full extent!!
