Personal kitchenette, full bathroom and outdoor shower. We have one Glamping tent and is completely private and is away hidden from the main house but close enough for anything you request. Either option of accommodation has everything you need to "Relax, Rejuvenate and Romance" (our motto). We are professional hosts and take this seriously, your happiness is our 1st goal. We have a huge river frontage with a swimmable natural pond and many relaxation areas that are very private and secluded. Great for fishing for rainbows all year round, salmon in fall, and steelhead in the winter. We have been hosting for seven years now and everyone loves this place and have many returning guests year after year. We are so close to metro Vancouver and anywhere in the Fraser Valley so you don't need a big road trip. We have people coming from Australia, Europe, lots from the U.S., even returning guests from Hawaii. This is the place where you can truly "Relax, Rejuvenate and Romance"

Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from. Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine). Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. There is a fancy new outhouse that flushes water and is equipped with a sink. This space is best suited for a single, a couple, and possibly a fur baby and/or little one. We are located on a quiet residential street 20 minutes from Port Alberni and en route to Tofino or Ucluelet. We have walking and mountain biking trails minutes from the house. If you are bringing a fur baby, please let us know. It must be on a leash at all times. Please bring your fur baby's favorite blanket or bed to sleep on. We can also provide a comfy hound bed in the room at your request. We kindly ask that you keep your fur baby off the furniture and bed, and that you please not leave your pet unattended. The Portal has no internet and reception is spotty. There is one outlet for charging, etc. Parking is on-site. Local food options include the "The Fish & Duck Pub" which is just a short walk away. Call Doordash to deliver a meal from one of our local restaurants, such as Sproat Lake Landing, or bring a picnic to enjoy. Additional Extras: Canoe $40.00 per day $200 deposit. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. The creek is fed by numerous small springs and streams coming out of the hillside on the property and up the mountainside. The forest is very diverse featuring many of the species found in bc as well as wildlife. Enjoy walking several kilometers of roads and paths on this private land. You will also enjoy the complete privacy and peacefulness to be found here. A few minutes up the road is rosebud lake, a hidden gem filled with turtles and other wildlife. Make sure you bring your paddle board or kayak to enjoy this special place. Salmo river and the stunning Pend Oreille reservoir also quite close.

Weekend Trip to Forest Sanctuary Cabin
My partner and I spent 4 nights/5 days at the cabin in the forest and it was magical. Disconnecting from wi-fi, electricity, and reconnecting to the simplicity of nature and each other was a beautiful way to connect to ourselves and the land around us. We became fire tenderers, watched the sunrise and sunset, befriended with the trees, cried over the beauty of the sky and the world around us. It was a truly unique experience and Christian was so hospitable, going above and beyond in making sure our trip was a good one. He also recommended a bunch of local areas to check out. The people at Roberts Creek and the surrounding area are incredibly nice! There are a lot of cute restaurants, art, and shops to check out. We visited book shops, music stores, unique clothing stores, and more. There was a lot of personality in every place we saw. And the beach was beautiful. We went during the winter and it was raining and cold, but it was also very cozy. We read books and made drawings over candle light. The fire kept us warm and there are plenty of blankets in the cabin. Even though there was no running hot water, it was easy enough to boil water to wash-up or visit the local pool for a hot shower. I would recommend this Forest Sanctuary to anyone looking for a chill place to visit. Christian is very sweet and so was everyone we met. Getting back to nature was fun and I would come back again. It's a great place for a romantic getaway and I'd love to bring friends in the future.

The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Claire provided clear, thoughtful, and detailed instructions and information every step of the way, from our questions prior to booking, to the instruction booklets on site that ensured a stress free stay. The property itself was very easy to find and navigate, and the treehouse was absolutely magical. You can feel the love and care that the hosts have put into the property in every detail, and we felt as though they covered every aspect of comfort we could possibly ask for, providing plenty of wood, blankets, and simple, but much appriciated amentities. The treehouse is also within comfortable walking distance from the parking area but is still private, which allows for the most breathtaking and scerene viewing of the mountains and birds in the area. I can't say that I have ever stayed somewhere that has compared to this, and would easily choose this experience over any luxury hotel, even considering our snowy morning. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, and would definitely recommend booking two or more nights so you can take advantage of the hiking trails and appreciate it too it's full extent!!

Love the micro-cabin. It is very compact and thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed the firepit and kitchen. Kito was very healpful and even provided us with extra heater. The water in the outdoor shower is very cold so it could be improved. But im sure that Kito will immediately fix it if you message him. We didnt need to use it during that time so it wasnt a problem for us. Overall, it is a nice place and very private. We also enjoyed the trail.

We are currently only accepting booking from folks who have access to a private boat. Once on the island it is a 3-4km walk down the main road (which is usually muddy if there was recent rain) to the cabin. No service and no wifi. Make sure you arrange your pick up before being dropped off. Guests need to be fit to hike up to the cabin. This is a unique fully remote and off grid escape that is not for everyone! This property was purchased nearly half a century ago. For the majority of this time the forest section you will be camping in was left undeveloped, apart from a few mountain bike trails. Recently, as a family, we have seen a large increase in the people traveling to the Sunshine Coast to escape the city limits. Unable to rock up to a campsite and pick our spot like we used to, it was easy to see a growing demand. A very remote, tranquil log cabin fishing camp hand-built in the 1960's. Akehurst Lake Wilderness Resort is only accessible by ATV (snowmobile in winter) or by foot (a 9-minute walk from the parking lot). There is no public access to the lake so it is wonderfully private & peaceful. We offer 5 cabins in total with some areas suitable for tents. There is a day-lodge with a kitchen and eating area for guest's use, kayaks, row boats, and a paddle board free for use as well as a wood-fired sauna! The lake is excellent for swimming. It is feet-friendly, shallow, and has no sudden drop-offs. And if you like to hike, fish or BOTH then this is the place for you. There are many nearby lakes that are a short drive/ride and hike away! Akehurst Lake does not have cell service or wifi. Lights are made possible by a gas generator in the evening. There is only cold running water in the day-lodge sink which is seasonal and depends on if the creek is running. Guests should be comfortable being in the woods and aware that if no one else is there, they will need to light the stove and fridge and operate the generator if needed. **Packing List** - Bedding (sheets & blankets or sleeping bag. Pillow covers) - Extra pillows (we provide 2 per cabin. Ask if more are available before arrival) - Towel/face cloth - Dish cloth & Dish towels - Paper towel/napkins - Toilet rolls - Lighter for fires (if applicable). Hi, my name is Dave. My family and I would like to welcome you to Nile Point, a secluded campsite located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. I consider it the closest thing to paradise. The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful. Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience. The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property, a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes! This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. That said, there is cell reception should you need it and a solar charger if you need to charge your devices. Egmont offers a pub, a fancy restaurant, and a charming convenience store with wi-fi. Tucked into the front of our property in the quiet of Gabriola island you’ll find the converted Gertie bus with all the amenities you need. The home itself has a pottery studio on the main floor with a full time studio Practice. Give Paige a ring if you’d like a tour, she’s usually working away. Our family lives on the top floor. Outside the bus is are lush veggie gardens, fruit trees and a nice private outdoor dining area. A BBQ and solar lights also help with evening hangouts. Family friendly! Also we love animals but we ask that you clean up after your pet and keep any animals that aren’t so great with kids and other animals on leash. We have a dachshund on the property that is friendly and old ( barks at strangers but is all bark I assure you, he just wants to be friends)
