We love the property and all the things to do. The barn is amazing! We didn’t enjoy the mosquitos. I’m not sure if there is anything the host can do about that.

Good site, close to Golden so it’s easy to run back into town and grab what you need. There was a black bear in the area and tons of squirrels. Friendly lady at reception and a pretty area to camp at.

Great camping spot, lots of space and very private! Its easy to see all the time and effort spend on creating more hiking trails and other fun places to explore on the property. Private dock just down the road! The whole place is very family friendly and we will definitely come back!

Site #1 Sunny 🌞

The campgrounds had everything you may possibly need! Nice, clean & quiet. The hosts & everyone there was super friendly and helpful. However, there are a TON of mosquitos. But that’s just Mother Nature, not the campgrounds fault. Just plan accordingly. Also; if you want to break the sound barrier… go on the slip n slide

Amazing. Fun for the whole family!

We love this campsite. Plenty of space between campsites, you could barely see and almost never hear any other campsite. The kids activities, including slip & slide, rope swing and disk golf were a massive draw and they did not disappoint. So much fun for all the family. A bit more mosquitoes than other campsites but we brought our mesh tent as a hang out spot and it worked amazing. I think this year was worse than others so that may just have been a “this year” problem. Hosts & camp attendants were very friendly and informative. Told us about some nearby beaches and lakes. The world’s largest paddle is 2 min drive which was pretty cool to check out. We only stayed 2 nights but we will be back as we didn’t even get to check out the treehouse which I hear is amazing. We will definitely be back. Can’t wait to hit the slip & slide again!

Great stay with a tent

Each spot (RV or tent) is designed to give you some privacy, which is great. Hot water in the shower and the kitchen added to the great experience. The place is relatively close to the road, which gives you a bit of noise, but is convenient for traveling. Hosts were very friendly.

Very nice campground, clean toilet and showers, very helpfull owners and personel. What stood out was that the owners are very creative and that is to be seen at the campground, how it looks. Things made of wood, metal, a big water slide, a wooden dock to the water, a big pirate ship. Our compliments!

Site #1 Sunny 🌞

The view from our campsite was incredible! We loved how close the bathroom was and how kind the hosts were. Our only complaint was the noise from the trains and traffic from the road, which is out of the control of the host. Overall, we had a great experience and would certainly camp again!

We loved this camp in BC. Everything was extremely well-maintained and clean. It had everything we needed (showers, water, tables, restrooms...), and it was very pleasant. We especially loved the slide that ends in a pond and the huge disc golf course in the mountains.

Site #1 Sunny 🌞

We stayed on ‘Sunny’, which was indeed sunny! A good level pitch and nice views. We didn’t make use of any of the campground activities but they all looked good, lots of effort has gone into making this place. The pit toilet by the tent spots was fabulous! Warm welcome at receiption and Mark responded via text when needed. Bring bug spray and don’t be dim like us and book sunny if you want shade, and you’ll have a great time! Thanks

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s obvious that the owners put so much care and effort into this campground. The waterslide is awesome, the giant paddle is quirky, the interpretive trail is so much fun, and it’s nice to have trails and a waterfall right there on the campground. Yes, the mosquitos were bad. But they’d just as be bad at any other campsite in the area, so I’m not sure why people are giving mixed reviews based off the mosquitos. You’re within 2 hours of 4 amazing national parks. I stayed here for 6 days, but wanted to stay longer! Even if you spend a chill day at the campground, you could fill your entire day with activities right there on the property. I will absolutely stay here again next time I’m up in the area!

Overall a nice camping experience. Camping spots are not overly private, but all the amenities are more than accessible. Hot water showers were nice to have, especially after hitting the cold slip and slide, twice. We paddled the Columbia River loop down from the campsite which was super gorgeous. Firewood is 1 dollar a piece, so if you can bring in your own, do that. Otherwise, reception was super nice and helpful and this is a very accessible campsite just off the highway! When we went, there are a TON of mosquitos, so be prepared for that as well.

It's a lovely place! Very nice location. Easy to find and to navigate around. The amenities included everything you need and even more: well equipped kitchen, clean washrooms and showers. The host was very friendly. One thing that wasn't too comfortable is the loud music played until very late from the barn, where the amenities were located. It was really hard to enjoy the sounds of nature when the music is playing that loud nearby.

Chill Weekend Getaway - Sept 2025

The campground was easy to find with lots of amenities and fun activities to keep busy with. We stayed at site #5 which was clean and private with lots of surrounding trees and a good size for my large SUV and a pickup truck with our kayaks. We chose to explore the wetlands on our own but I wish there was more information/signage readily available for where to park, doc, and kayak as we didn't get a chance to speak with anyone from the campground while we were there. Using the electronic maps provided on the website and messages with the hosts, we were eventually able to figure it all out and had a lovely kayaking journey. The worlds largest paddle was beautiful but again, not much signage and could easily be missed driving by which would be sad as it was a cool stop. Next time we stay here we will definitely check out the disc golf course, walking trails, and the slip and slide pond. All in all this would be a great place to stop whether you have kids or are adults looking for a fun weekend adventure.
