We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning.
Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway.
We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas.
There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

2 hours of a beautiful drive that includes kootenay national park.
2)..Important ❗️❗️Please do not bring firewood from other areas to our camp as our property is heavily treed forest and we do not want any transfer of raw wood bugs. We offer $10 generous bundles of wood.
3) When you book, One tent or RV and one vehicle per site. If you are looking to book for a group of friends/family area, we can help with that.. prior to booking.
Also, we reserve the right to put you in the best possible spot to fit in a proper site for what you are camping in and what your needs are. Often people book a site that’s completely wrong for them… but that’s ok… we will fix it. 😊
4) Smoking only on sand at sites and nowhere else on our property Please use a container to hold your butts.
5) Noise restrictions after 9pm…no music or loud behaviour after that. Strictly enforced. We value respect in the camp for all campers.
6) Once you book, we will reply back with important information on the phone number you booked with. Please check for our messages to you for a smooth booking and arrival.

As we take this Hipcamp journey together, we are finding little things we can do to make your stay better…Like offering a complimentary table at your site should you require one…. or adjusting the site you booked to one that would perhaps fit your needs much better as we know it’s difficult to choose a perfect site on line. My fully stocked pavilion, kitchen and lounge have all the cookware, dishware and utensils needed to prepare your meal. There is a BBQ and Coleman stove with propane provided. Drinking water is provided. Firewood is sold on site. Propane fire pit rentals available.
I have cold showers and seasonal warm solar showers. Plus an aquifer-fed pond for clean, cold water dips.

Come discover our peaceful farm sanctuary located in Ashton Creek, 10 minutes east of Enderby. Experience the famous Shuswap River "float" which is only a 5 minute walk to the Baxter bridge boat launch, park and community hall. The Ashton Creek convenience store and gas station has all your basic camping needs including ATV gas and propane (also a 5 minute walk). Access to hiking trails including a unique water fall nearby. Mabel Lake Resort, boat launch and Golf Club is a short 20 minute drive.
Camping at Olich Creek Farm is unique and family friendly. Most of our rescued farm animals roam the property freely and absolutely love human visitors. Families with children will also enjoy the natural play areas the farm offers including a shallow creek and visits with our chickens and ducks.
Unfortunately due to a few incidents where campers did not follow the leash rule, we are no longer permitting dogs on the farm. Cats on leash will be accepted.
We have one RV site with septic, water and 50 Amp power and can fit a 40 foot unit and 4 totally private tent sites. There is a full washroom with tub/shower, toilet and wifi access in our old farmhouse which is complimentary during your stay.
Should you find that your desired dates are already booked, please reach out to us as we may have a back up spot available.
Please keep in mind we are an organic farm homestead that offers an agritourism experience. We are not a manicured campground :) Your camping fees go directly to support our aging farm animals and horses. We also offer firewood for sale $10/bundle. (Please check if there is a fire ban)

The Gertie Bus is located a 5 min walk to a beautiful white sand beach (at low tide). There are walking trails all around and lots of beach access. Tucked into the front of our property in the quiet of Gabriola island you’ll find the converted Gertie bus with all the amenities you need.
The bus has a gas stovetop/oven, bar fridge and sink with grey water system. Equipped kitchen and sofa area to hang out.
The standard queen bed is great for sleeping in and relaxing with that second cup of coffee.
Mountain biking, hiking, swimming and whale watching are just steps away.
There is beach access across the street through a private park with picnic tables, a very old eagles nest and a private access to a rocky beach perfect for sunsets.
The home itself has a pottery studio on the main floor with a full time studio

Outside the bus is are lush veggie gardens, fruit trees and a nice private outdoor dining area. A BBQ and solar lights also help with evening hangouts.
Family friendly! Also we love animals but we ask that you clean up after your pet and keep any animals that aren’t so great with kids and other animals on leash. We have a dachshund on the property that is friendly and old ( barks at strangers but is all bark I assure you, he just wants to be friends)

Recently we decided to share our property that we love and have enjoyed so much for two reasons: to give others the opportunity to enjoy it and to put money away for university. Our parents, Mark and Sarah, got behind the vision and are excited to be part of this project with us.
We would describe our property as: home…and a really fun place to grow up! Our parents thought that wasn’t descriptive enough for Hipcamp so they’ve helped us describe it more.
We live in a quiet neighbourhood in a forest that has been a source of peace, relaxation, and fun for us in our growing up years. We’ve noticed that people who visit here say they feel the same way.
With plenty of space for kids to explore and adults to relax, our 3 acre forest is perfect for down time with a book in the hammock or a nature walk before dinner.
Amenities and service:
A single, tidy campsite with picnic table surrounded by mature and gently manicured forest, as well as a hammock, and a new construction outhouse. (Go dad!)
We love hospitality, so though we won’t always be around when you’re here, if we are and you need something you can simply ask and we’ll do our best to provide what you need.
To help you feel welcome we provide a fresh, cool jug of drinking water and large container of fresh potable water as well as access to an outside tap to fill water containers if needed (upon request) , power to charge devices (upon request), and a campfire ring with firewood (sorry about the frequent fire bans. Huge bummer. We will post current fire ban status while you’re here.)

We are within a 15-minute drive of several beautiful mountain lakes offering fishing, paddling, and swimming opportunities, and just 25 minutes from the beaches of Okanagan Lake. For guests interested in horses, we offer horsemanship experiences with our farm horses. These sessions must be arranged well in advance of your stay and are subject to availability.
Fresh farm eggs may be available for purchase during your stay, depending on the season and what our chickens and ducks decide to contribute that week!
Pets: are welcome as long as they remain on leash in the main property area. We have two off leash, fully fenced dog pastures that can be utilized when not in use for our herding program.

Christian was so attentive and welcoming to his beautiful campground with perfect tent pads. The name says it all: we had tranquil and peaceful stay surrounded by nature with the forest, the pond and stream, complete with owls hooting at night!

It was a great central location to camp while exploring the Campbell River / Comox area. Paul was super friendly and accommodating. The outhouse was clean and no too unpleasant to use. The site (we had no. 1) was a bit shady and basically a blackberry bramble, and close to the road so we had traffic noise throughout. Also we arrived past 9pm on our first night and because of the first come first serve structure, we didn’t have a reserved site. Someone had snuck onto the property and set up their tent so we had to camp in the field the first night. Paul refunded us so that felt fair. The site was missing a picnic table and we would have loved a shower but all in it was a nice stay. We loved the beach walk nearby at sunsets. Just awesome.

Very lively in nature! We had so many dragonflies pop by and hangout inches away and there is a nature trail near by that connects to the ocean

Mark’s place is great! Clean, quiet, peaceful, nice level tent pad. Mark brought out fresh drinking water in a cooler for us. The treehouse is so much fun! We even tried the slide! We would highly recommend Mark’s place and will probably be back!

Nice, private sites on a beautiful property. The pit toilet and dish sink were rustic, but well kept. We loved the 5-minute walk to Mattone, a delicious Italian restaurant on the water, as well as the beach and trail. We were really grateful that we landed here, as all the camgrounds in the area were booked. We stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Highly recommend!

Great spot for a simple, nature-focused trip. The campsite is a nice, open field with excellent signage and picnic table provided —ideal for those who don’t mind basic facilities in exchange for a quiet, scenic location. Close to town if you don't feel like camp cooking and want to go get dinner. A solid choice for easy camping.

Our stay at Paul's campground was great! We would love to come again! We stayed in #2 and #5.
Ace and Boyd greeted us when we arrived and helped orient us to the sites.
The absolute best feature was the night sky. We could see the Milky Way!
We brought badminton rackets with light-up birdies and glowing LED frisbees to play on the field at night. We had lots of fun with friends and family!

Good site, close to Golden so it’s easy to run back into town and grab what you need. There was a black bear in the area and tons of squirrels. Friendly lady at reception and a pretty area to camp at.
