Wonderful & Welcoming

We had a wonderful stay at Mixed Barrel Farm. Leah made us feel very welcome and was very kind and patient with our daughter - showing her around the farm and letting her feed the chickens and pick her own grapes. The farm is very peaceful and getting to enjoy a campfire under the stars was a treat. A very special stay, especially for families with young kids. I’m sure we will be back another time!

Mixed Barrel Farm's was such a great stay for our family, we will definitely be back! Leah and Wayne were so kind, great with our kids, and were so generous sharing produce from their farm with us during our stay. It is a beautiful place, great location, and very child and baby friendly!

Leah and family were excellent hosts. Very generous. Leah picked all the fixings from her garden for an awesome salad. I was also given several potatoes and pears - delicious. Given all the generosity, they left me alone. I felt welcomed for my entire stay.
The trailer has everything you need and the bed is very comfortable.
There is a peaceful pastoral vibe that allows you to enjoy a chill calming experience.

We had a great camping experience at Mixed Barrel Farm. The host was very friendly and incredibly helpful. The accommodation had everything we needed, and our kids absolutely loved staying there. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back!

Loved the setup by Leah. It’s a spacious camper.
My kid enjoyed the space to run around , feed the cattle, play with the dogs and he ate a lot of veggies from the garden :)

My family and I had such a lovely stay at Mixed Barrel Farm. Leah and her family have created a truly wholesome space, and their warmth made us feel instantly at home. They went out of their way to welcome us and invited our kiddos to join in on farm activities, which made the whole experience feel really special. The trailer was cozy and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Lovely hosts, animals + great RV

We stayed here as a family: my wife, my daughter and I, and had a wonderful time. The farm is home to lots of friendly animals, and my daughter loved getting to meet them all. The whole property was extremely clean and well kept, and the RV was big, comfortable and really nicely set up.
Leah and Wayne were welcoming and easy to communicate with, which made the stay feel relaxed from the moment we arrived. There’s also plenty to do in the surrounding area, so it works well as a base for exploring.
We’d absolutely recommend this spot, especially for anyone travelling with kids. Thanks for having us!

Our family Stay
Wow, words truly cannot describe this magical retreat! When we arrived, Leah, Wayne, and their son Gavin greeted us with the absolute warmest welcome. We were standing there in awe thinking, is this place for real?!The experience completely exceeded our expectations. It is so peaceful and serene, surrounded by gorgeous mountain views. Since my husband grew up on a farm, this was such a special gift for him. The farm animals were incredibly friendly, and the two cats and goats became our instant best friends! We picked fresh vegetables from the garden for a BBQ dinner, enjoyed fresh eggs left by Leah for breakfast, and sampled amazing lamb sausages also .The property features a stunning barn with a huge game room where my son and husband played pool in the midst of watching the Fiffa game!!The RV itself was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped—sleeping inside, while it rained at night was so very magical.This family's generosity is just over the top. We had the whole place to ourselves, rode their e-bikes along the beautiful Vedder River trails nearby and Gavin even let my 21-year-old son ride their big tractor! If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, I guarantee you will fall in love and never want to leave. Thank you, Leah and family, for your unmatched kindness. We cannot wait to come back!

Best place to stay with kids

We recently spent 3 days and 2 nights RV camping, and it was truly a perfect experience!
We were especially grateful for how much care was taken to help the children see and experience different animals up close. It was such a special opportunity for them, and we really appreciated all the guidance and support throughout the trip.
Having the kids with us made the whole experience even more meaningful and memorable. Seeing how excited and happy they were made everything worthwhile, and honestly, there was nothing we felt was missing.
Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful from beginning to end. Thank you for making our family feel so comfortable and for creating such wonderful memories for our children.

A Perfect, Relaxing Nature Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Mixed Barrel Farm! Even though we arrived ahead of our scheduled check-in time, we were warmly greeted by Wayne, who kindly showed us around the property and introduced us to the cats, goats, lambs, and chickens.
A major highlight was our son getting to feed the goats and even learning how to play pool. It was a fantastic experience for him. Overall, it was a deeply relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again!

Amazing!

We had a wonderful time at the mixed barrel farm! Our 5-year-old son loved picking eggs, feeding animals, petting them. We had the chance to visit the bee farm and taste fresh honey from the hive! We all loved it.
Leah and her husband wayne were both kind and helpful whenever we had questions.
We will definitely come back again. Highly recommend it for families with children or anyone interested in farm life!

The location is perfect. The farm beautiful. Our kids were absolutely in love with all the animals. The trailer is confortable and had everything we needed. And we loved the evenings by the fire outside. We'll be back !

Country Charm, Coveniently Located!
Our glamping experience at Mixed Barrel Farm was the perfect spring getaway. The trailer accommodation felt more like a tiny home or small cabin with its many amenities, including a full kitchen, big screen TV, bathroom with shower and comfortable queen size bed. To us backpackers, it felt like a 3-star hotel.
But actually so much better than a hotel because we were on a farm, looking out on peaceful fields lined with pink cherry blossoms and willow trees. We met all the animals--goats, lambs, ducks, chickens and friendly cows, as well as the beautiful labs and two black cats. It seemed like a big, happy family.
Our goal was to get out into nature and this was so easy to do since Mixed Barrel is literally steps away from the Vedder South Dyke Trail along the Chilliwack River. We also visited the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve (13 min. drive) to see the herons nesting across the reserve's South Lagoon. Awesome experience! From there it's an easy wander down the Vedder Rotary Trail which has many river views and access points.
In addition to the homey farm and stunning nature, our hosts, Wayne and Leah were extraordinarily friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We could tell how much their heart and soul went into making this lovely place. We really enjoyed farm fresh eggs for breakfast and took home a roaster chicken to feast on later.
Hopefully, we can return in the fall and see that colourful season at Mixed Barrel Farm!

Our stay at Mixed Barrel Farm was truly unforgettable. It’s an amazing place to camp, especially for families. Our kids had such a great time interacting with the farm animals—it was a wonderful way for them to experience farm life up close.
Leah and Wayne were exceptional hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel genuinely welcome. We also had the pleasure of meeting their son, Gavin, and the whole family was incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special.
Even though it rained for most of our visit, we never felt bored. The recreation space—lovingly called the “Barrel Room”—kept everyone entertained and added so much fun to our stay.
This lovely farm has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back, and next time with more family and friends.
We came as guests, but left as friends.

Fun at the Farm!

We had such a wonderful time at the Farm!
It was our first official camping trip with our little family and it could not have been a safer and more comfortable space to experience it.
Our little two year old was so excited with all of the animals, waking up to seeing the cows, the goats and the chickens. And us adults loved the vibes of the fire pit and the beautiful view of the stars on the clear night!
Leah was so responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or needed assistance.

Thoughtful Hosts, Cute Cats & Views

We had such a great stay in this cozy trailer! It was super clean, bright, and had everything we needed for a comfy two-night getaway. Leah and Wayne are amazing hosts — communication was super easy, and we were so grateful that Leah provided a high chair when we asked, which made things so much easier with our little one.
The cats were the sweetest and always around for unlimited pets! The mountain views were beautiful, and with the trees just starting to change colors, I bet it’ll look even more stunning in a few weeks.
The only small challenges we had were getting the water temperature just right and the bedroom skylight making the room quite bright, which made naps a bit tricky for my baby who’s used to sleeping in a darker space. I co-sleep, and the bed is fairly high, but bringing a bed rail worked perfectly.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend this trailer, especially for families with young kids. We’re so grateful for the experience and would love to come back!

Mixed Barrel Farm is a hidden gem. Our family of four had such a wonderful, relaxing time at Leah's farm. Leah & her family were very welcoming. Leah is a very considerate & kind host. She communicated detailed instructions & provided all the essentials for a comfortable stay. She provided farm fresh eggs & gave us grape tomatoes from her vegetable garden. We enjoyed BBQing & breakfast overlooking the mountains. It was truly a peaceful retreat, being able to unplug & recharge. Can't wait to go back. Thanks again!

Amazing family farm retreat

Our family of four had a wonderful time at Mixed Barrel Farms. Leah and her family were perfect hosts, showing the kids around the farm to see the animals and allowing them to enjoy some fresh grapes and berries off the trees. The accommodation was cool, comfortable and clean plus had all the essentials for us to cook some great meals; the farm fresh eggs and homemade jam on arrival made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for families; relaxing, close to the river for a swim, and a quick drive into town if supplies are needed. Highlights for us were helping put the lambs to sleep, the cat companions guiding us around the farm, and BBQing while overlooking the beautiful farm. This was truly a peaceful paradise which gave us a restful retreat. We’d highly recommend the farm to young families wanting to relax and see their kids enjoy the outdoors. Thank you so much! We will be back.

Farm glamping experience :)

So awesome!! Our family had the best time and the space was beyond amazing. We loved being able to visit all the animals, and everything was so welcoming and beautiful. Plus Leah and her family were all so nice and let us know about how the farm is run, all the animals, and all the things to do in the area. I already want to come back to ride the Vedder bike trail and swim in the river. This was such a gem in every way.
