What a wonderful place to stay! Christian has created such a beautiful, peaceful and welcoming space. We felt at ease the minute we arrived. Truly a sanctuary! We will be back. 🌲😍
Thank you so much to Christian for graciously welcoming my family to his wonderful campsite. My kids absolutely loved their first camping experience and I am elated that they are eager to go for more trips!
Christian went out of way to check in with us and even provided me with a very warm blanket when I found out I forgot my own sleeping bag. His campsite brings in families from a wide variety of cultures and countries. It was a joy to meet everyone.
Christian is a wonderful host and we had such a magical and fun stay with our friends and kids! The camp sites are lovingly manicured and maintained. Very private sites surrounded by tall trees. The amenities like the communal kitchen were very helpful to reduce overpacking our car. We can’t wait to come back here and maybe even try the cabin next time or the sauna on site. The other campers were so friendly too. Our car actually had battery issues at departure and literally all the remaining campers stepped in to help us in some way whether it was driving us to Canadian Tire, lending us power banks to charge our phones or helping jump start our car. We’re so grateful for the wonderful experience!
Christian is a fantastic host, and his property in Roberts Creek is incredible. The mountain views and surrounding landscapes are stunning. Gathering around the campfire in the evening created such a warm, friendly community vibe among guests, and relaxing by the pond watching the fish swim was so peaceful.
The private sauna add-on is an absolute must-try—it’s pure relaxation and left us feeling completely rejuvenated. Highly recommended!

We had such a wonderful stay at Forest Sanctuary! The property was peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything was well maintained, and you can tell the host has put a lot of care into creating such a welcoming space. We especially loved how quiet it was and enjoyed spending time outdoors taking in the scenery. It was exactly what we were looking for and made for a really enjoyable getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Forest Sanctuary to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature!

We had a wonderful stay with Christian. From the beginning, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful. Since we were traveling by bike, he checked in on us before we arrived and even offered to pick us up if we needed a ride. Anytime we had a question or needed anything, he was always happy to help.
The place was absolutely beautiful, very well cared for, and surrounded by nature. It was peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back. Highly recommend staying here!
We absolutely loved this property! We stayed with a group of friends and had an amazing time. Christian is a fantastic host, and it’s clear how much care and effort he’s put into creating such a beautiful space.
The property is well-equipped, peaceful, and offers plenty of privacy, while still being just 5 to 10 minutes from everything you might need. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together.
We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great camping getaway!
It’s hard to articulate what makes Christians place so special but it truly is a magical spot. He has literally built several pristine campsites in the middle of a forest. We camped in a beautiful, lush grass field—perfect spot for our babies to roam. The amenities Christian has built are all so helpful—outdoor shower, water, shared kitchen. Great mountain biking for all skill levels just behind the property, which allowed us to park and never leave. Christian is kind and helpful. It was the perfect place for us!

Loved our stay here on new year's eve! The cabin stayed warm enough with the wood stove going, and we really enjoyed having the place to ourselves.
There are some great mountain biking trails about 20 minutes up a double track road and over a creek crossing. Thanks Christian for being a great host!

Absolutely loved staying at the Forest Sanctuary. It is a beautifully designed campground, and we really appreciated the kitchen and dining area. Solar lights throughout the property were magical. Christian was really kind and went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and lovely.
We were lucky enough to be able to book the bell tent one night and the cabin another. Both were amazing! The bell tent is HUGE !
The entire site is super clean and quiet and we felt very safe the whole time. Christian is an absolutely amazing host, he answers questions quickly and I never felt like I was bothering him.
The kitchen is fully stocked with a BBQ and a Coleman stove AND PROPANE !! Outhouse is clean and doesn’t smell bad at all, shower setup was very cool. There’s a shed to store your cooler on and it has solar lights for when it’s dark.
Lots of places to tent with your own gear as well. We cannot wait to come back at the end of October *fingers crossed*
Staying at forest sanctuary has probably been one of the most memorable family trip we ever took.
Christian - no matter how much I can write about him, it would not be enough.
He has put in a lifetime of effort to make this space so beautiful. Ever since I made the booking, he was in contact with me and answered every single query and suggested so many great things to do.
We camped on a weekend when it rained the most in a 100 years ( 15th August 2025) but that did not dampen our trip at all.
Christian was out there, helping us put tarps and cover our canopy and ensured that we and our space remain absolutely dry. He went over and beyond every single day to come and help us out with anything we needed.
We stayed at the Bell tent which was stunning. It can easily accommodate up to 8 people.
We were 2 adults 1 youth and 2 kids and had all the space to walk around the tent even after placing all our bags and air mattresses.
The solar string lights all over the campsite are magical. The communal kitchen was clean and every single utensil, cooking equipment was available for use.
Christian gave us a tour of the campsite as soon as we reached and ensured we were comfortable and helped us settle quickly.
He set up the firepit at night, sat with us and other guests and we all enjoyed conversations and lots of smores.
My kids and us have fallen in love with the forest sanctuary and will surely be coming again soon.

Christian is such a gracious host, and the property itself is beautiful with excellent amenities. We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit—it was well set up with starter materials and stumps for seating.
The covered kitchen and common area were very convenient. We cooked dinner on the BBQ, washed our dishes, and refilled our water bottles easily. Our site was close to this area but tucked just around the corner, giving us both convenience and privacy. There was plenty of room for our two vehicles and two tents, with space to spare.
The composting toilet was nearby and thoughtfully set up—good airflow made it much more pleasant than a regular outhouse, and the handwashing station was a nice touch. While we didn’t use the solar showers, it was great to know they were available.
This was a last-minute trip for us, and we were so pleased to find such a lovely place. Thank you, Christian!
Our stay on Christian's land was wonderful. We had a large group staying on the property and it was a beautiful and spacious place to stay. The kids had tons of fun running around the property, playing in the pond and on the field. We appreciated the kitchen facilities, which made things easy when making quick meals. Christian was warm and welcoming. We were sad to leave and would all love to come back one day.
Forest Sanctuary was awesome! Christian was a great host and has created an amazing space; incredibly peaceful and very well appointed. We really enjoyed our time on the Sunshine Coast and staying at the Forest Sanctuary was a big part of this. 100% recommend and if we do come back to this part of Canada, we would most definitely stay again.
Loved the forest sanctuary!! Will be coming back. The property is so peaceful and healing and the communal spaces allow for a really lovely atmosphere to meet the other people staying. Took a night stroll through the forest with all the solar garden lights - so magical.
Christian was so awesome and all the attention to details/amenities available are well thought out. Don’t overthink just book it!

We had such a peacful and blessed time.
A magical and serene place to stay. Christian has created a wonderland in the middle of the forest: it's almost like a fairy glen or a corner of Rivendell from Lord of the Rings. The outdoor kitchen is very well equipped; you really don't need to bring any of your own cooking equipment, which is a refreshing bonus for campers. In fact, he has really thought of every little detail: from the fairy lights to illuminate your way in the dark, to solar showers, to an outhouse with a fabulous view of the forest. If you're used to camping in BC parks campgrounds, you may appreciate the total absence of noisy neighbours. The only sound was from the wildlife with whom we shared this space. I loved it.

We love love loved our stay at the forest sanctuary. Christian has landscaped and curated a magical space. His love of the space is evident. Walking barefoot on the moss, sharing s'mores at a communal fire and appreciating the well stocked kitchen, being beckoned into the woods after dark by magical fairy lights... What a delightful time my daughter and I shared here. Great memories. We will return ❤️❤️❤️

The grounds are beautiful, the communal kitchen is very well set up and such a great idea! Christian is an amazing host and super accommodating and you can see and feel all the love and work he has put into this little piece of paradise! It’s our new favourite campsite and will definitely be back in the near future!

Wonderful place and a very welcoming host. I highly recommend staying at Christian’s beautiful patch of forest.
We absolutely loved this place. The campsite is lush, green and feels like a paradise.
Awesome pavilion to cook in and all the utensils you could need are provided.
Christian has done an amazing job with this space and he is a very hospitable host.
