Hi. My name is Christian and welcome to my beautiful Forest Sanctuary on the slopes of Mt. Elphinstone in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast. My property is a magical, private nature retreat created in the spirit of love and reverence for the land on which it is built. It is a sanctuary to nurture the body, mind and spirit. A place to come back to One's Self. I have taken a piece of forest and transformed it into a Premium camping experience with pastures, terraces, pathways, a pond and island, level campsites with grass and sand and a communal outdoor pavilion lounge with fully stocked kitchen at your disposal. A large communal campfire is available. I have solar showers too. This is a magnificent place to bring the kids, a wonderful place to hang with friends and family, a peaceful place for lovers and a great place to come on your own to remember how awesome and talented you really are. I can accommodate larger groups, workshops and parties. Ask me about renting the entire site for private gatherings. My fully stocked pavilion, kitchen and lounge has all the cookware, dishware and utensils needed to prepare your meal. There is also a BBQ and Coleman stove with propane provided. Drinking water is provided. Firewood is free when campfires are permitted. For bathing I have a solar shower and a little aquifer-fed pond for clean, cold water dips. If you want something a little fancier I have a great little off-grid camping cabin which rents for $135/night. You can ask me about it. My campsite is located in Roberts Creek, British Columbia. Roberts Creek is a peaceful, eclectic, rural community seated between Gibsons and Sechelt, and possesses a stunning blend of beaches, forest, and some of the friendliest people you will come across. A relaxing atmosphere awaits you here, where both your artistic and outdoor adventure self is sure to feel at home. Camping and mountain bike heaven

We had a wonderful experience camping on Christian’s land for over a week. It’s a beautiful property ideally situated for exploring the amazing mountain bike trails in the area and a magical place to spend time. Evening bonfires with other guests, walking around barefoot on the grass, and exploring the beautiful rocks and pond with my daughters were highlights. Christian was a gracious host with excellent and clear communication who went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We’re already talking about coming back next year.

Forest Sanctuary

Christian’s Forest Sanctuary is a well-maintained campsite featuring excellent kitchen facilities, a food storage area, a lot of comfortable grassy areas, a small pond, and charming bathroom and shower facilities. You can see Christian’s love and care for the land everywhere you look. Sunshine Coast is already a fantastic destination, and staying here for a night or two is a reasonably priced way to reconnect with nature. (P.S. The mosquitoes in July can be pretty aggressive, but that's all part of the camping experience.)

Unique and comfortable

Our weekend at Forest Sanctuary was the best of tent camping without the drawbacks. Big beautiful grassy site, mix of sun and shade, lots of places to sit, and wildlife sightings galore! The kitchen, outhouse, and solar showers take it to the next level, making it easy to cook and wash up. Christian was a terrific host and gave us lots of ideas for activities in the area.

A peaceful oasis

Christian's place is a peaceful oasis. He bought the forested land ~ 20 years ago and over the years has created a beautiful, peaceful and lovely place. He himself is not living on the land but is a gracious host who met us at the road leading to the site and introduced us to the camp. Everything is made with love and very thoughtful. We camped there with a small camper van and shared the entire campground with a lovely couple. We spent some time at the common fire pit, but also had plenty of privacy. The nights were beautiful and quiet. We would love to come back.

Magical camping experience! Everything was perfect- the land is beautiful and well cared for, every detail is taken care of. The stars at night were amazing and loved all the twinkle lights around the property. Thank you for sharing the land with us, we will be back!
