Lakewood Cabins

I brought two friends who were first time visitors to Canada and they loved the whole experience! The cabin itself was small but very very cozy (3 adults & 1 dog), and waking up to a big window facing the forest was my favourite part. The washroom was very clean, and there were enough kitchen utensils for us to cook hotpot. It was close to a few good trails around cultus too. Really recommend this place for those who want to camp but want no hassle and a soft bed to sleep in :))

Great place for a quiet getaway, with a nice cabin and beautiful surroundings. The farm animals were very gentle and friendly. Enjoyed camp fires and the trails around this place. Michael was a very friendly and helpful host, and we really enjoyed our stay.

My family had a great time staying in the Woodland cabin. It was very cozy and kids loved the loft.What stands out to me was the enchanted forest trail and the box of markers left to decorate rocks.It was both cute and thoughtful. Michael was very pleasant and accommodating. I have already recommended to friends.

Wow!

Wow, I can't say enough about this place! Michael was wildly responsive, first of all. Detailed instructions on how to get there, how to get into the property, and even immediately responded about whether or not we could feed his horse a treat (answer: yes, if it's fruit and make sure it's cut up). The cabin itself was great: as described and then some. There was wifi (?!), a full television with roku, space to sleep, and enough counter space to prepare a basic meal. I didn't expect the pots and pans, oil and salt, microwave, kettle, coffee maker... geez! AND AN OUTDOOR SHOWER. This specific cabin is slightly pushed back from the main field by 3 meters and some trees, nothing extreme and adding even more privacy. There is a separate restroom with a flushing toilet and sink 5 meters away, very easy to access and clean. There's a horse. We saw bunnies. There's a really well done little path full of surprises. If I had kids, they'd love this. I'm an adult and I loved it! This place is really well thought through, very homemade/made with love, and slightly nicer than the photos. I was expecting a campsite and got a rustic bnb (I've had less nice bnbs). I debated writing this review so honestly because I would love to rebook at the same rate. Michael C is running a considerate, well-managed, and tight ship. Please book him out to keep this spot going but leave me time to get my next booking in!

Making Memories

We booked two cabins for two families with our little ones, and it truly was such a memorable trip! We absolutely loved the location, it's so close to Cultus Lake, which made it easy to enjoy the area while avoiding the extortionate parking fees. The cabins were cosy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids especially loved visiting the horse A LOT! He was so gentle and sweet with the little ones. We also ventured into the Enchanted Forest multiple times, and found something new and exciting every time! It was the perfect getaway with friends, full of wonderful memories. We loved our stay and are already looking forward to returning! ❤️

Nice little cabin in the woods

Loved the cozy little cabin in the woods, near to cultus lake (2min drive). The cabin has everything you need, blankets/bedding, BBQ (additional cost) dishes, cookware, gaming for kids, TV with Netflix, shower next to the door, flush toilet in walkable distance (shared). Can easily accommodate 4 adults.

Lovely tiny cabin with all the creature comforts you’ll need. Very family friendly, the enchanted forest was precious. The cabin feels remote but is close to shops and the beach. The shower was a nice touch.

It was a very nice and great experience with Michael's property. He is a kind-hearted man. My kids loved it there a lot. He is so friendly and generous. Don't forget to enjoy the fresh eggs there. He also let us use the BBQ without cost. Thank you, Michael, for this unforgettable experience.

Lakewood Tent Campsite

Surrounded by nature, giant firs, clean pottable water, horses, chickens even a goat. Easy access to showers, bathroom, bbq. Lots of walking hiking and jogging paths. So quiet that I just shut off my electronics and embraced the silence and let nature embrace me. Left there feeling reset and recharged with alacrity. I experience a healing there, thankyou Yeshua Jesus! It's important to book early to secure a favorite cabin. Amazing cabins!...understated. One of those things you gotta see to believe. I look fwd to returning with my family. They het 5 stars, even 6 if possible. No campfires or smoking rules perfectly ok since required in line with lawful authorities affecting this and all campsites and Parks in cultus lake, maybe more. In fact, this helped me sleep better knowing I was safe. .

Peaceful and Cozy Place

We stayed at Woodland cabin. The cabin is very cozy and it has a huge glass window that when you open the curtains, it feels like you’re in a treehouse. This place is so quiet and very relaxing. The washroom is super clean too. Mike is super nice very accommodating. We would definitely comeback here next year.

The most amazing time!

We stayed at Lakewood Cabins for my 26th birthday, and it was honestly the perfect getaway. The cabin was incredibly clean, cozy, and so well cared for. The bathroom was especially impressive it was modern and spotless! Michael was an amazing host. He was so welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One of our favourite parts was seeing the horse and goat on the property, and we were even visited by a couple of the friendly dogs, which just added to the charm and made the experience even more memorable. We had such a beautiful, relaxing time and left already talking about when we can come back. We absolutely recommend Lakewood Cabins to anyone looking for a peaceful escape, and we can’t wait to return!

A Perfect Family Getaway Cultus lak

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful, peaceful location near Cultus Lake. A special thank you to Mike for being such a fantastic host—friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The forest trails and seeing the animals were a huge highlight for our kids and made the trip even more memorable. Highly recommend, and we’d love to come back!

Really quaint and rustic little cabin. Nice to have a fridge and bed instead of just tent camping! The bed was super comfortable and it was nice to have the option of a tv to watch a movie at night. The washrooms were well maintained and so nice to have hot water and a working toilet, there was even an outdoor shower (we didn’t use, but it looked nice) Very close to the water park and beach. The only thing I would love to have added would be a little area to cook outside. There is a little kitchen inside, but when the family is outside playing and mom is stuck inside cooking it would be a nice option to have a little cook top, or even just an area to cook outside. Very nice stay and the host was very nice and helpful
