Welcome to 28 acres of forests, mountains, creeks, a river and all that comes with it!
We live in a little off-grid cabin deep in the Yalakom Valley in a small community of rustic-living and friendly folks. Please note that this property is located 40 km outside of Lillooet. Part of the road is a dirt road and a bit bumpy, best for cars that don't mind roughing it a little bit, and best for people who don't fear cliffs. You also lose service 5 minutes outside of Lillooet.
The property is surrounded by one other large private lot on one side and some steep crown land on the other. You can explore our lot down to the river or you can drive to other locations like the Horseshoe (a great swim spot), Carpenter Lake (great for swimming, too), Lac La Mere (good for fishing), Carol Lake, and much more.
All sites are located 150-200 feet away from our main house and share the same outhouse. However, it is unlikely for us to have more than one site booked the same time, so there is ample privacy.
This is a somewhat rustic and rugged spot- if you are looking for fancy glamping this is not the space for you! Vancouverites, you've been warned!

There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from.
Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.

Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries.

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for neighbours to hear.
Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall as well a world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off and undercut banks.
ATV's are idle in - idle out.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full and is available between 9 AM and 8 PM.
WATER: We do have a non-potable water tap in the park. I'm not allowed to say that the water at the waterfall/creek is good water - so I won't.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

The property is about half natural forest and so it's not unusual to see local critters, large and small peeking out!
There are several hiking trails in the area and local parks as well. There are 3 artisans on Decourcy Drive. The world-famous Crow and Gate pub is 4 km from here and the historic Wheat Sheaf Hotel (Pub) is about 5 km. Local restaurants and Cafes, Groceries, Pharmacy are 5 km.
We are a quiet country getaway located 25 minutes from Nanaimo Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. Duke Point Terminal is about 20 minutes.

We are just across the lake and are accessed by the first electric on demand shuttle ferry service in BC. A 3-4 min ride across with some of the most spectacular mountain views the area has to offer.
If you are looking to escape the crowded tourist areas for the solitude of the natural world but want to feel safe and comfortable, then this is your place. We are surrounded by hiking, biking and ATV trails waiting to be explored. A few miles down the road is Saddle mountain hiking trail, a challenging trek with breathtaking views the entire way. At the top of Saddle Mountain is a look out cabin with 360 panoramic views.
A short walk from the camp through old growth cedar groves will lead you to Arrow Lake where you can enjoy all types of water activities or take a stroll to explore the lakeshore. Grab a kayak or SUP board and explore our many secluded sandy beach spots.
Reconnect and unwind, breath the fresh air and enjoy wonderful nature walks. The town of Nakusp is only 15 minutes away where you can find cute coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. There are 3 beautiful hot springs all within 35 min of Nakusp as well as an Epic bike park 15 min outside of town

Join us on our family farm in Merville, the heart of the Comox Valley.
As we transition to winter operations, stays will require a fully self contained van, camper, trailer or similar. We will have no potable water or porta pottie on site. Regular season camping returns May 1st, 2027.
Located just 20 minutes from downtown Courtenay, you'll find a slower pace, quieter sites and more nature surrounding you than the commercial campgrounds. Comox and Cumberland are both 25 minutes away giving you options for marine activities, mountain biking, shopping, dining and more.

Site 1 and 2 are medium sized drive-in sites. Site 3 is a tent-only site. Site 4 is a bit more open also for vans, campers, and tents, and we have a last-minute available Site 5 for vehicle camping.
These sites will welcome you to recharge in nature. Dark night skies will open you to all the majesty of our solar system with great stargazing opportunities.
Each standard campsite has a flat gravel surface suitable for tents, smaller RV's, shorter travel trailers, truck campers, rooftop tents, camper vans, and similar. Site 3 has a tent pad, well suited for cyclists or motorbikes.
Small trailers up to 20 feet may be usable, but access may be tight.
Please note, that while there is a campfire ban, camp stoves and propane fire pits are permitted.

Tiny Secrets Farm and Retreat is an Award-winning Glamping Nature Retreat. We are centrally located on the Sunshine Coast (only a 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay) on a spectacular 10-acre property. We run a small, organic farm and host guests in intriguing tiny homes and glamping tents. We have everything from a converted schoolbus with a woodstove, to gorgeous campsites in the woods. Check out our micro cabins, glamping tents, and campground.
Our property is a nature oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just 20 minutes north of Sechelt, we're close to beaches and lakes. Enjoy our recreation area with a large pond, our small playground for young kids, and our blooming orchard with several small ponds. Explore our walking trails, peak at our seasonal waterfall, or sit in one of our many picnic table or campfire areas.

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins
The place was exactly described as mentioned in the listing. It has everything, literally you dont have to bring anything other than bedding. ( bedding also available for extra charge) there is a nice trail you can explore. There are couple of old trees more than 400 years old. Micheal was super friendly and a great host. If you are looking for a quiet gateway this place is a gem. And cultus lake 5 mins away. 30-40 mins drive for other major attractions. Will come back again. Thanks Micheal for having us.

Michael is such a kind and welcoming host!
We were lucky enough to be offered an early check-in, which we really appreciated. We understand this was only possible because the cabin hadn’t been booked the night before, but it was such a lovely start to our stay.
Michael was wonderful to chat with and went above and beyond to help us with our extra needs. He shared a great range of activities and recommendations for exploring the area, which we really appreciated.
We were also lucky enough to meet his beautiful neighbours, who were incredibly kind and even helped our family when we ran into some car trouble. It was such a lovely reminder of how welcoming and helpful people can be.
The cabin itself is a rustic, homely little haven. We were very comfortable throughout the rainy days, and it was well equipped, easy to cook in and simple to keep clean.
We loved the spacious bedroom and the comfortable beds (we brought our own linen). The toilet facilities were easy to use and very clean, and I noticed they were refreshed daily, which was a lovely touch.
The shower was another highlight. There’s something truly special about enjoying a hot shower under the stars — such a lush experience!
We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated Michael’s warmth, generosity and the peaceful, homely feel of the cabin. Thank you for making our time there so comfortable and memorable!

Weekend Trip to Deep Mountain Sea Cabin
This spot is the perfect hideaway if you want a beautifully scenic road trip into the mountains and heart of British Colombia. Tucked away in the valley, this cozy cabin provides a space to take a deep breath and unwind in a safe and quiet environment. The road in is a bit hectic- would recommend a 4x4 as there were lots of rocks on the highway, especially closer to the cabin that might scrape up smaller car (we did make it in our small hatchback but would recommend against it lol) But once you reach your destination, Ren was very responsive, warm and friendly. She provided us with lots of firewood and kindling, and even gave us a lovely gift of fresh vegetables from her amazing garden. The cabin was clean, tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The outhouse is even beautiful! with great views haha. I will definitely be coming back in the future, and would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away into nature for a weekend.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Second Year at Tiny Secrets Retreat — and We Can’t Wait to Come Back!
This was our second year coming to Tiny Secrets Retreat, and once again, it did not disappoint! This place truly feels like a peaceful little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
One of the things we absolutely love is how easy and relaxing the experience is. We can simply bring our own food and everything else is supplied for us. It takes so much of the work and stress out of camping while still giving us that wonderful feeling of being away in nature. It’s the perfect escape when you just want to unplug, slow down, and breathe.
We stayed in the glamping tent, which was lovely. We did have a bit of a run-in with some very persistent raccoons during our stay, but what really stood out to us was how quickly and thoughtfully the hosts responded. They immediately moved us into the convertible bus, and WOW! What an incredible cozy space! It was absolutely phenomenal and gave us the restful, comfortable stay we needed.
The hosts’ customer service is exceptional. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and having a great experience. That kind of hospitality makes such a difference.
After the craziness and hustle of city life, Tiny Secrets Retreat is exactly what we needed .... a place to relax, recharge, enjoy nature, and simply do nothing for a while. We left feeling rested and refreshed, and we’re already looking forward to coming back again next year!
