So grateful to have found this cozy and peaceful cabin. I was very comfortable and enjoyed hikes nearby, lots of wildlife and beautiful views. The hosts made sure I had everything I needed. I appreciated the nice snacks and gifts. Thanks for a memorable stay!

The wineries around the campgrouds are beautiful and give your stay a peaceful atmosphere. We saw some birds of prey! The dog is cute and very friendly.

A Good place to stop at Peachland

Camp 1 handled our Class B. I rented both sites and our friends were introduced into Hipcamping using site 2. Their trailer a small to medium size fit easily there with a drive through setup. The two camps are closer together for RVs but further apart of tents campers. The camp property is a very short drive on a large dirt road. It is located at a 600 foot elevation above town, we decided not to ride the bikes to town due one rider uses a three wheel bike which needs more space. The condition was OK but could be checked for trash we try to pickup what was there. It was great having access to water being that this was our fourth stop on this trip. Great to be in the country with a sea of grapes and lake in you front view. We did see and hear turkeys and other wild life. The gate needed to be opened and closed it could use a tune-up.

Nice place, best care for camp

Nice grassy place, level and clean. The camps are well spaced and is definitely the best we have been to. We have a class B so we just rotated to suit our needs and we were setup. The posting does show the camp well. If you go to town on a Sunday get there before 3pm.

Vineyard Camping Experience

We loved tenting at Back Forty Vineyards. The view waking up to rows of grapevines each morning was beautiful, and the amount of stars at night around the fire was incredible. We stayed in Site 2 which is down in a small hollow, which was nice for privacy. Site 1 is not too far away but its up on a bit of a hill so it does still feel private. There's an outhouse not far from the site, and a water tap between the 2 campsites which is convenient. There's nowhere to shower so prepare accordingly. Daryn offers firewood for sale by the full or half wheelbarrow, which are decently priced. Daryn was a great host. He sent a welcome message before our arrival with all the necessary instructions, and any questions I had he was very responsive to. And I can't forget to mention Bernie, the farm dog who watches over the vineyard. He's a friendly boy and likes to check in on his campers. All in all I would definitely recommend camping here to anyone looking for an alternative experience to the typical cramped campground style. It's not every day you get to wake up, drink a coffee and eat breakfast in a vineyard. I'm sure we'll be back again soon!

This is a special spot! So peaceful, and the perfect getaway. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, amazing coffee and a nice tea selection, and the snacks were such a treat!! The bed was quite comfortable, and we thoroughly appreciated the variety of pillows as we’ve got different firmness preferences. Early morning walks with the pup around the property while the sun rose was bliss :) We cannot wait to return!

Very cute spot. Site was clean and instructions to find it were clear. Great quiet place to spend the night. Visits from the farm dog only improved things, he’s a sweetheart. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful stay

This was our second visit and we had a great stay! So lovely to overlook the vineyard, nice to have access to a picnic table and water even though we are pretty self-contained. Met Bernie again :). Will definitely be back!

Nicely located in west Kelowna, but expect very minimal amenities. Site 1 sits on a hill with better views, while site 2 is pretty basic in a ditch, which may not be very tent friendly. There is running water. The outhouse is rather simple. It’s a decent campsite, but given the lack of ammenities, we find the price of $50 per night pretty steep.

We had both sites 1 and 2. Very peaceful setting. I would have loved to have a camp fire but we just didn’t have the time. No shower but we have been roughing it with the cold water tap 😅 Nice overall experience. Thanks for hosting us 🌻

Quiet night between trees and vines

Beautiful and quiet camping spot (campsite 1) at the edge of the forest and overlooking the vineyards. Outhouse, fresh water. Close to Peachland. Perfect for a beautiful night of camping if you don’t need a shower in the morning (the lake worked just fine). We didn’t meet the host, but he was responsive to our texts. Thank you Daryn! PS: choose campsite 1 if you can, as it is elevated, while campsite 2 is lower.

There's an outhouse, water, firewood and a flat semi shaded spot for a tent. It's basic, but pretty cool staying at a vineyard right next to the vines. Peachland has a great Sunday market. There's a bus stop at the bottom of the road. Only one other campsite, so pretty quieit

This was a great spot, just out of town surrounded by a vineyard on one side and lush forest on the other. There’s a large firepit and good area to pitch a tent. Water tap on site and clean outhouse just a few steps away. Woke up to a beautiful view and the sounds of nature. What more can you ask?

Forty Acres Vineyard is gorgeous! Beautiful view of the lake overtop of the grape field. Very private yet close to Peachland and the beach. We’ll definitely come back!
