A beautiful farm with wide open views of pastures and livestock grazing peacefully. The dry camping spots are located next to a creek w access to water fill up if needed at main house at the main house not far away. Located 30 minutes from Kamloops on a paved road. Many options for beautiful private hikes right from your tent or RV.Pitch your tent or park your RV in a lovely pasture beside a creek or up on the hill with a view. Enjoy beautiful views of sheep and cattle grazing peacefully in nearby pastures. There are walking or hiking trails through pasture lands and forested rangelands right from your camping spot. If you have an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. We can provide potable water and shower and laundry available at main house. Behind your camp is crown land with a canopy of fir and aspen trees and a creek meanders right beside the main camping area. Campfires are permitted as long as there are no fire bans. Pets welcome. Fresh vegetables (u-pick) and grass-fed lamb, and pasture chicken are available for purchase.

We enjoyed our time at Gillian's farm. The site was spacious and the kids enjoyed feeding the lambs and playing in the paddock. Unfortunately with lush, watered grass comes hectic mosquitos but we had prepared for this with lots of spray so didn't let it dampen our experience.

The campsite was very beautiful and peaceful, the host showed us where to park. The mosquitos were bad, as others have said, which was a shame but it was a farm and there was water so they are to be expected.

Scenic campout
Gillian was friendly and gracious bringing us eggs from farm and offering to move the sprinkler. The grounds were grassy, scenic and the biffy was clean and did not smell at all. There were plentiful mosquitos which calmed down later in the evening. The farm’s proximity to Kamloops made it very convienient.

Nice and quiet area to camp. Kids loved to see the baby lambs. Gillian was very kind, and accommodating.

Holmwood Farm Camping or RV Sites
We loved camping at Gillian's farm. The area is stunning, and the campground is situated in a field that provides privacy without feeling too exposed. There's plenty of space for the three campgrounds. Gillian was a wonderful host, welcoming and easy to reach.

Wonderful experience
Gillian farm was a perfect choice for camping. It’s quiet and tranquil with a nice view and plenty of room for your tent. We were lucky enough to have the entire grounds for ourselves, since other campers didn’t show up. Even the rain didn’t bother us at all. Moreover, Gillian was such a host! She went above and beyond to help us and provide everything we needed, since our car broke down while getting to the farm. It was also our very first time visiting Kamloops. We would gladly go back to Gillian’s farm for another experience in the future! And this time we’ll go for a hike for sure!
