Cuddly Cat Farms is a small, family-run campsite located just 5 minutes north of Vernon, nestled in the beautiful Okanagan Valley. We offer 4 unserviced campsites and invite respectful campers to enjoy a slower pace, open skies, and a true farm-based experience. This is a quiet, family-friendly campsite, perfect for those looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature — not a party campground. 📍 Location Highlights Enjoy peaceful farm camping while staying close to some of the Okanagan’s best outdoor recreation: Within a 10-minute drive of both Okanagan Lake and the stunning, limestone-based Kalamalka (Kal) Lake Close to the BX Trails for hiking and mountain biking Just a 25-minute drive to SilverStar Mountain Resort 🐱🐶 Our Farm Animals We have four cuddly cats that roam the property during the day and sleep in the gym at night We also have a dog named Radar — he loves to bark, but will absolutely melt in your hands if you give him a good pet. He does not wander down to the campsites. 🚿 Washrooms & Showers Campers have access to flushable toilets and clean showers, located approximately a 3-minute walk from the campsites. Soft water showers (easy on skin and hair) Filtered drinking water available in the washroom building Please help us keep these facilities clean and respected for everyone 🌿 Campsite Details 4 unserviced sites (no power or water hookups) Flat areas suitable for tents and small campers Newly planted trees — beautiful, but not yet mature enough to provide shade 👉 Please plan accordingly with shade structures, hats, and sunscreen 💪 Onsite Gym Access Access by permission only — please ask 🌙 Quiet & Respectful Camping Quiet time begins at 10:00 PM Respect for other campers, the land, and shared spaces is required As a family, we sometimes keep early night times. If you arrive after 8:00 PM, we may not be able to come introduce ourselves that evening. Please feel free to choose a campsite that works for you, and we’ll be happy to come say hello the following morning. If there are any issues, feel free to message us at any time. Important water notes: Water at the campsites is NOT potable It is irrigation water only (great for putting out campfires, terrible for drinking) Hot & cold well water is available at the washroom building Please use outside taps for washing dishes 🐱🐶 Farm Animals (Yes, They’re Part of the Charm) We have four cuddly cats who roam the property and sleep in the gym We also have a dog named Radar He likes to announce visitors loudly He will absolutely melt into a puddle if you pet him Radar does not wander down to the campsites, but you may hear him guarding the farm 🌙 Quiet & Respectful Camping We love laughter, campfires, and good conversation — just not at bedtime. Quiet time is from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Please respect other campers, the land, and shared spaces Children must be supervised at all times No littering or damage to property Please pack out all garbage you bring in 🦌 Wildlife Note We are located in the country, so you may see deer, birds, and other small wildlife passing through — it’s part of the magic. That said, we have never seen bears on the property.

The area was pleasant enough with the surrounding hills and farmland. The issues for us involved finding a spot that was suitable enough that we could level our camper properly. The dry gravel road right behind us kicked up a lot of dust from passing vehicles. There were no barriers for even a little privacy only a meager fence between you and the dusty road. I think this property would be great for groups tenting. Also, I think if campers needed to bring their young children up that hill to the available washroom in the dark at night is not reasonable.

We liked this place! The sites are spaced out as you would expect in a campground. Great facilities to have shower and flush toilets available just up the hill. We saw one cat briefly and our friendly host came to welcome us in after we were set up. Would definitely recommend.

Handful of spots huddled around a circle of open land. Very quiet and great spot for us to land for our first night in BC (from Bellingham). Hike up a dirt road a short bit to the well kept bathrooms with a shower in each. Close to Vernon if you wanted to eat out or check out shops. I would recommend Ginnys place for sure.

Great little campground right outside Vernon in a quiet grassy field. Full bathroom a one minute walk up the hill. It was all I needed as a solo camper. Note: there is no shade in the summer, so it’s very hot. I highly recommend this little gem. Oh… and the cats, I only met one, but he was extremely friendly!

I'm not sure what happened here but I got a very unwelcome vibe from the get go. We booked it close to nightfall and rolled in in the dark but it was tricky to find. Once we did it seemed ok, but they host was very unresponsive. We were told in the welcome email that we could have a fire and they left wood by a cute metal fire circle so we started one. Less than ten minutes later we got a message that there was a fire ban and they had Zero Tolerance to people violating the ban. I didn't realize there was one, nothing was posted, and we were told specifically we could do this. So I frantically put out the fire thinking we had broken some rules. Another camper asked me why we were putting it out and I told him about the message, he was planning on starting one too and was dissapointed. Afterwatds we texted back that we put it out and there was no fire ban posted and they said to enjoy a fire if we wanted so we did, and apologized if we did a misstep. I got a response saying the host was jumping the gun and our fire was fine, but we had just put it out. That was very weird and put us off a fair bit. We went to shower and the water was thick and slimy and smelled like sewage. The cats are cute at least, but one is named a transphobic dog whistle. IDK what to say about this place but we regretted it.

It’s in the farm with no shade. Bathrooms are too far and are in the gym. The water is really stinky.

Was the perfect last min spot to camp. It's just mins from everywhere I wanted to go. Was next to a very quiet road, I saw more familys out for evening walks than cars all day, I woke to the birds chirping and some cows mooing. There are clean bathroom and showers ( I was so thankful for) available in the gym. Some sites had patio tables/side tables and chairs, they worked for what was needed. Not all the site had them available. Would recommend staying here. Every night as the sun went down like clock work I had a sweet kitty come say good night.

I felt that we got what we paid for. There were washrooms and showers. They had not been cleaned the entire time we were there. This may have been as a result of the host seeming to be away. We never saw or met them in the three days we were there. The sites where flat but not smooth if you are bringing a tent. Located close to all the major stores and easy to get to town. 5 minutes tops. The site is wide open but very quiet. You do feel a bit like being in a fish bowl with all the surrounding houses looking down on you. The price is very reasonable for the area and I would stay there again. I would also recommend this to others

Nice convenient spot to use as a base camp while exploring the Okanagan. Having the washroom facilities is a huge bonus! We spent 3 comfy nights here and would recommend it highly. Be aware there is no shade to be found, but if you plan accordingly and are creative you can rig something up to alleviate the worst of the heat. We were generally away during the heat of the day anyway. The nights were cool and generally bugless with the exception of the pleasant sound of cicadas and crickets to serenade us to sleep. The land is in a beautiful location and you get a nice view towards the valley, and surrounding orchards. The hosts were very friendly and professional! The facilities were very clean and well kept, the showers were great. The cats were very clean and friendly, and a highlight :)

It was very accommodating and clean. The cat that we met was super friendly. The camp site was great. Plush grass to camp on. Super great to have towels and soaps if you happen to have forgotten yours. No other camp sites I’ve stayed at supply things like that. The price to stay at a last minute camp ground was fabulous.

She's really easy to work with was able to work with my last minute booking with extra people the sites were very spacious with lots of room it's wide open no trees but that's okay we weren't there to visit the campsite and it was awesome they had showers toilets they have a gym if you want to work out running water hot water outside as well it was nice because there was no gate and they didn't lock you in after 10:00 so if you had to go to the store or something you could I would totally tent hear again. Thank you so much for your hospitality we had a wonderful time

This place was perfect for our camping needs. Nice and tidy camping area with a fire fit and we even found a table and chairs there we could use which was perfect because we didn’t have room to pack any! Bathrooms and showers were available in the shop on the hill for use anytime and were very clean and well equipped. Having some nice cats on the property to visit with was an added bonus :) would definitely stay here again!

We love it here! So peaceful and quiet, and Ginny is the best host! It’s convenient to Vernon, easy to find, and having a shower available makes it truly desirable. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat 💗 And of course, there are kitties to be found…

Very peaceful spot in the country! We have a 20ft trailer and had no problem getting in and out. Ginny is super cool, was there when we needed her and gave us space to chill. It's 5 minutes from town which is great. Only con would be the water quality, it's potable and safe but super softened. Overall though, we would happily stay again.

It was a perfect place to camp. The property is beautiful and the campsites are well set up with fire pits. Well water is close by. The gym facility with clean washrooms and hot showers was fantastic. Can’t say enough good things and Ginny is a great host.

Ginny and Cuddly Cat Farms were fantastic! The bathrooms were clean and accessible, the site was a great size, and Ginny was so kind and accommodating. The cats to pet were the icing on top!

We loved staying on Ginny's land! It felt like we had our own private prairie for 5 days. I loved how close to Vernon Cuddly Cat Farms is, it made it very convenient to have fun. It's also close to a few wineries and a lake for paddle boarding! The shop/gym up the hill was lovely (very clean) for showers and so nice that she provided potable water at the shop. Just make sure you don't use the water near the campgrounds, it is not potable and not marked as such (that did kind of mess us up at first). Her cats were kind but not intrusive. The gym seemed really nice and a good price if you want to use it! I would definitely stay here again :)
