Deep Creek Cabin And Tents

We made a two day getaway to Salmon Arm. The Heritage Golf Course at Salmon Arm Golf Club was only a short drive away. Cabin #2 was fairly new and super clean. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful to answer any questions. We had a campfire and the wood was provided. We highly recommend this cabin.

Beautiful place!

Darcy's place was amazing! We spent a day fishing and swimming at Gardom Lake, quick 5 minute drive away, beautiful sandy beach. The cabin was perfect, with campfire wood supplied, a grill and a picnic table. We also went to the hot tub at Darcy's place! It was all so pretty. For those visiting, bring trash bags, kitchenware, camping stove (if needed). Thank you, Darcy and family for this lovely weekend!

Deep Creek Cabin is in a good location and Darcy very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a cabin which was lovely, cozy and comfortable. There are compost toilets, Outdoor shower and sink with h potable water. I highly recommend.

Tipi is amazing

Absolutely loved the Tipi! Set up was great, such amazing sleeps on the beds with the fresh air, propane provided to keep the chill out of the air with the propane fire pit in the middle. Absolutely clear skies to see all the stars and satellites and milky way. Got to watch a thunder storm rolling through but not hit us which was amazing. Outdoor hot tub and the outdoor shower are both amazing. Love that this option is available to just show up and not really need to bring alot but still get to camp. Make sure you have a AWD or 4WD vehicle with some clearance to get up the hill to camp site, especially if there has been any rain. If coming to the area again we will definitely be looking at it again or even trying on of the cabins!

Loved our Tipi stay

We loved staying in the Tipi on Darcy's land. He was accommodating and helpful. He showed us the way and how to use everything. The hot shower was a bonus !

We had a fantastic time at Deep creek cabins. The cabins are amazing and we slept so well. The serene environment was a pleasure to wake up to. There is an amazing donut shop up the road which serves sourdough and regular donuts and a couple is sandwiches. Darcy is an amazing host…. You won’t be disappointed

This place was incredibly peaceful. It is a perfect blend of luxury and roughing it: cooking and eating outside but sleeping on luxurious sheets in a comfortable queen size bed. A pit toilet and outdoor wash house but power available and air conditioning!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Our host Darcy was incredibly attentive and took care of all our needs promptly, making our stay comfortable and stress free. The cabin was great for our family, and the kids especially enjoyed their time there. We all had a lovely and relaxing experience. Had such a nice stay here! Teepee is exactly as pictured and very nice inside. We had the most comfortable sleeps here!! The view is spectacular!! Outhouse was new and clean and did not smell like an outhouse at all! Smelled of freshly cut wood! You absolutely must stop at the doughnut shop 5 minutes up the street, best doughnut I’ve ever had. Our car couldn’t make it up the hill like others have mentioned but it wasn’t a problem for us bc we travel pretty light. The family was very helpful and her boys offered to help us carry our heavy stuff from the parking lot, which is less than a three minute walk. We can’t wait to come back here next year!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Darcy’s place and would highly recommend it! This was our second visit to the cabin—first in early March when everything was frozen, and again in the summer—and both stays were special in their own unique ways. Darcy is an exceptional host: very responsive and genuinely goes above and beyond. He even took our boys fishing with his son, who is the same age, and they had an amazing time. We truly appreciated his kindness and effort to make our stay memorable. For future guests, we highly recommend renting Darcy’s kayaks if you don’t have your own. Gardom Lake is just a 5-minute drive away and is perfect for a full day of swimming, kayaking/canoeing, and fishing. The cabin itself is cozy and comfortable, with a great hot shower that’s especially appreciated after a day outdoors. In winter, the wood-burning stove made the space extra warm and inviting and added to the charm of the experience. Thank you, Darcy, for being such a welcoming host. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this spot!

Best Cabin Ever

We stayed at Cabin #2 and it was amazing. It was the comfiest cabin I've ever been in. Everything was clean and tidy. I would definitely like to revisit and try out the hot tub at Cabin #1 next time!

Camping with kids!

I loved staying at this cabin. It was private very well maintained with a new outhouse and outdoor shower. It was close to several lakes and only 5 to 10 minutes from stores if you needed anything. Darcy was super polite and there to show us everything about the cabin. The A/C was a bonus for the hot weather. My daughter loved the loft to sleep in. Like an indoor tree fort for her. We look forward to going back for another stay.

Lovely Cabin

We absolutely loved the cabin that we stayed in on Darcy and his wife's property. The cabin was perfect for small children/families. My Daughter absolutely loved the loft as well as the folding beds from the sides of the walls. So many options for sleeping arrangements. We appreciated the small air conditioner in the cabin window for the hot days. The outdoor shower was so nice after a long day. The outhouse was clean and well maintained. A note would be that you definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to get up to cabin #1 as it's a steep gravel road. Thankfully we had an SUV so it wasn't an issue. We did rent a kayak but unfortunately the weather didn't permit us to use it due to thunder and lightening. We weren't reimbursed and that would be my only qualm about this trip. Overall, we had a lovely time.

My stay at this cabin was so relaxing! I could sit on that little front porch at twilight every night forever. The cabin itself is simple but lovely, I used the bed on the main floor and it was very comfortable. Being able to relax and cool off in the AC during the hottest part of the day was a lifesaver. Darcy is a great host, very friendly and professional. He came to the cabin and made sure I knew how everything worked when I arrived. There was a small issue with the shower on the first day, but he was very responsive and got it fixed up right away. The BBQ available for use is really nice and it was clean and ready to go. Having the propane included was very much appreciated. As stated in the listing, you definitely need 4 wheel drive or a higher vehicle to be able to park right at the cabin. Overall, great spot and I would recommend it!

Everything we were looking for

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! This was our last stop on a long road trip and this was by far our favourite spot. The tipi area had everything we needed and the outhouse was super clean. The bed was comfy and it was so relaxing looking at the stars. The host was great and even set up the hot tub for us to enjoy. Having a shower is always such a big plus. We will definitely be back!

Sweet cabin in the woods

Darcy has a great spot, close to wineries, Armstrong, Salmon Arm and Enderby. I had a restful solo trip away. The cabin is lovely, pine inside, quiet. Sitting on the porch at night is relaxing. I bbqed one night, I brought my own cutlery etc cooler. I really liked the outdoor shower, the outhouse is close. . Great biking on the country roads. Lovely hosts !
