Sonora Desert Inn at Mythology Vineyard
Enjoyed the wine tasting with Ramona. We spent two nights camped in the vineyard, and although we were at the upper limit for RV size, they worked with us to find a great spot to tuck into. The area offered easy bike riding and beautiful sunsets. The valley smoke was a little rough, but that's certainly not something our host could control. The patio area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening.

Amazing experience at Mythology vineyard!
Not only their wine is absolutely delicious, but the location is perfect, quiet, calm and near the major Osoyoos touristic attractions/other vineyards. They gave js access to the inn's restroom, which was a major bonus for us in a tent!
Le départ semblait super. La vue magnifique.
Nous arrivons tout juste avant 17:00. La dégustation ferme à 17:00. La dame semble pressé de fermer mais nous offre tout de même la dégustation.
Nous dormions en tente près des vignes. Deux campeurs VR étaient présents également (tranquille). Également chambre de disponible à louer dans la maison principale.
La propriétaire est absente.
Vers19:00 un tracteur arrive bientôt us annonçant qu'il va arroser. À 22:00 le tracteur commence son travail (attention le bruit). Les portes de la maison sont barré, pas de façon d'aller à la salle de bain. J'ai dû faire autrement.
Pour cette expérience qui s'annonçait si bien, tombe en 3* et je suis généreuse...

Teresa was a great hostess. The 4 legged greeter is Deacon who loves all visitors .
Wine and spirits were very tasty .

We had a 26 foot trailer that took a bit of jockeying to get in place. But once we were situated it was fine. Great tasting room. Teresa and Mark were getting ready for the harvest but took the time to chat with us. Their wine is wonderful!

Owners were very nice but the spot wasn't as secluded as the listing indicated and the owners said that they would have some friends coming with RV's staying next to us. We opted not to spend the night there.

OK place to pitch your tent
Good points: The view over the vineyard and sunset is lovely. We also appreciated having access to the bathroom which had everything we needed and was clean, although shared with a number of other people.
Less good points: The "campsite" felt kinda cramped, as it is right in front of the house/patio/parking area. We also got a weird vibe from the owner, as she seemed too busy with other guests/friends. I felt like we were bothering her. She mentioned we could camp somewhere else in the vineyard, but made it seem like a bad idea / complicated because she "would have to take us there herself, and nobody ever sleeps there anyway", so we resigned ourself to set camp in front of the patio. They kept chatting as we went to bed, but we were so tired we slept away. We would have gladly slept further away from the patio, except the rest of the "campable" space seemed somewhat littered and smelly. We tried our best to be friendly at check-in and smiling to the owner as a nod in the morning, but never managed to connect. Perhaps because we are not her crowd/age group? Or perhaps campers are not her priority as we don’t bring as much cash.
Overall: an OK place if all you need is to pitch your tent with access to a bathroom, and don’t mind sharing the space with others/a blunt-ish owner.

I would not recommend because the area we were staying had garbage and very long weeds, so much so that I had to cut the weeds so my dog would be able to get into camper. Site was difficult to get into, not much room to move around. Also, after booking with HipCamp at $50. Dollars a night, we realized that we could have used Harvest Host for free. We did however enjoy our wine tasting and host for the wine tasting was excellent.

Bon endroit pour un arrêt d’un soir près d’Osoyoos mais un peu dispendieux pour l’expérience global.

Le site était très bien. Maria très gentille. Nous avons passé la soirée avec deux autres couples dont un qui avait réservé une chambre et l’autre qui était en camping comme nous. Bon vin et bonne compagnie, ce fut une belle soirée.

Nice level campsite over looking the vineyards . Romona was very welcoming showing us where to park . She was also very knowledgeable about the area and wine also happy to make recommendations for things to see in the area!

The whole valley is spectacular and this place is amazing and lovely. Hosts are very friendly and the host is very helpful. Osoyooos is very close (less than 10 minutes away). Absolutely recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Maria's vineyard. The views of the rolling Okanagan hills and vineyards were and an especially beautiful camping backdrop. Maria and Mark were amazing hosts with great communication, checking us in our first day, and answering any questions we had. There is so much to do in the area and this location is great. Be sure to take the time for a wine tasting with Mark! The wine is excellent.
Maria was great she hosted us with a wine sampling and made us feel at home instantly. We setup our tent under one of the walnut trees and enjoyed the view of the vineyards. We stayed an extra night cause we had so much fun in the area, would recommend to anyone coming to stop by and at least try the wine.
This was a great experience for me! I absolutely adored camping at the winery.. woke up to meteor showers above my tent! Lovely people around the table at the inn when
l arrived. Great wine and a absolutely wonderful host! One of the best experiences l had in a very long time!

Great location , very central to all the wineries in Oliver . Felt like we were in someone’s backyard which is fine, I just thought would be more in the vineyard with more privacy .
The host was very friendly and helpful.
