Our 28 acres are located in between Maple Falls and Glacier, Wa, directly on Mt Baker Hwy on the way to Beautiful Mt Baker. Ben and Tyne run a chemical free farm, on which we raise 7 and 1/2 acres of veggie and flower. 15 acres of pastureland on which we raise pasture raised chicken, as well as biannual lamb and beef. The remainder of our land is breathtaking Pacific Northwest forest that is boarded by the Bay to Baker trail. Our campsites range between walk in wooded sites, and car camping sites that are open field sites next to the tree line. We provide wagons in our cart corral area to make it more convenient for the very short walk in. ( no more then a 200 foot walk in) We have a very nice composting outhouse and hand-washing station. We do not have water for drinking or a dishwashing sink, but if you are in a pinch just ask Ben or Tyne and we can help you out. We want all of our campers happy, comfy, and to have the best time here. :) We have a beautiful cedar grove to enjoy for lounging and picnics. The Bay to Baker trail borders our property, so it is just steps away and includes a 45 min round walk to a quaint little waterfall (maple falls). As well as a nature loop trail. You can also walk the other direction on the trail over a boardwalk. This direction walks along the back of the farm and allows you to see the veggie fields from a distance. Yofu can continue on the bay to baker trail for a nice walk. There is a conservation area, just a quarter mile drive down the road. With access to the Nooksack river, that includes several nice swimming spots and a couple nice walking trials. Silver Lake is just 3.8 miles away. It has a great recreation area, fun for the whole family. Just a heads up , you will probably lose service on your drive up here. But you will get service back when you are here. We suggest putting the map in your phone before you leave. Google maps will take you just past the farm, and apple maps will stop you too soon. So you are looking for the large kragnes family farms sign in the driveway. pull in and follow the camping signs to the back.

We strive to provide a place to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, so it's not a place to party or have music loud enough for neighbours to hear. Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall as well a world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate. There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off and undercut banks. ATV's are idle in - idle out. QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended. LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights. CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times! FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full and is available between 9 AM and 8 PM. WATER: We do have a non-potable water tap in the park. I'm not allowed to say that the water at the waterfall/creek is good water - so I won't. BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens. Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm. We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground. Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake. It's a real working farm: cattle, tractors, and the everyday sounds that come with them. Six grassy RV sites, each with its own fire ring and picnic table, plus two small stays, the Little Farmhouse and the Barn Cabin. Our Farmstead Market is on the farm: Wagyu beef, eggs, sausage and more. It's open Saturdays 10 to 4, and if you need something during your stay, just ask and we'll open it for you. A few things to know before you book: • Adults only on Hipcamp, 18 and up. It's a working farm, and kids, machinery and animals don't mix. • Fully self-contained RVs only. We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Weekend Trip to Whonnock Willow Farm and Campground

We had such an amazing weekend at Whonnock Willow Farm and Campground! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by incredible trees and scenery, but what really made the experience special were the hosts, Kathy and Craig. They were genuinely some of the warmest and most welcoming hosts we've ever had. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, while still giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy our weekend. Kathy's recommendations were fantastic, and Craig was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. He even noticed I had burned my hand and surprised me with a pair of fireproof welding gloves when we left. Such a thoughtful gesture that we'll never forget! Being able to rent a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard right on the property and walk through the forest to the lake was the perfect addition to the weekend. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back, whether it's just the two of us or with friends. Kathy and Craig, thank you for making our weekend so memorable. We highly recommend Whonnock Willow to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful getaway with truly wonderful hosts!

The place was exactly described as mentioned in the listing. It has everything, literally you dont have to bring anything other than bedding. ( bedding also available for extra charge) there is a nice trail you can explore. There are couple of old trees more than 400 years old. Micheal was super friendly and a great host. If you are looking for a quiet gateway this place is a gem. And cultus lake 5 mins away. 30-40 mins drive for other major attractions. Will come back again. Thanks Micheal for having us.

Michael is such a kind and welcoming host! We were lucky enough to be offered an early check-in, which we really appreciated. We understand this was only possible because the cabin hadn’t been booked the night before, but it was such a lovely start to our stay. Michael was wonderful to chat with and went above and beyond to help us with our extra needs. He shared a great range of activities and recommendations for exploring the area, which we really appreciated. We were also lucky enough to meet his beautiful neighbours, who were incredibly kind and even helped our family when we ran into some car trouble. It was such a lovely reminder of how welcoming and helpful people can be. The cabin itself is a rustic, homely little haven. We were very comfortable throughout the rainy days, and it was well equipped, easy to cook in and simple to keep clean. We loved the spacious bedroom and the comfortable beds (we brought our own linen). The toilet facilities were easy to use and very clean, and I noticed they were refreshed daily, which was a lovely touch. The shower was another highlight. There’s something truly special about enjoying a hot shower under the stars — such a lush experience! We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated Michael’s warmth, generosity and the peaceful, homely feel of the cabin. Thank you for making our time there so comfortable and memorable!

Weekend Trip to Zender Camp

Overall Campsite #1 is easy to find, ideal if you have dogs who enjoy a big field to play in and if you have a larger family or group it works great. The four campsites are near each other and on our night site 2 and 3 were a group that all combined onto site 2. Site 4 had just one camper. We moved away from our fire pit and that gave us more space from the group. We just didn’t have a fire to enjoy but we did have more space. If you’re looking for privacy there really isn’t much but if you’re looking to escape town this works. The river is close and the moon rise was stunning! Depending when you visit the river will be varying in level and typically will not be one you go swimming in. There were a fewer areas of slower water which we did let the dogs splash around in. It is nice just to sit by and enjoy the sound. The fall colors are beautiful.

Weekend Trip to North Wind House: Historic Cascadia

Dog was very happy with the space! Even met the resident sheep. Host is very thorough with his walk through. Sadly the aesthetically pleasing record wall had to be removed due to there being so great of a collection (so good guests were stealing them) but overall we enjoyed our spot that faced away from the rest of the property and made us feel suited while overlooking the sunset.

We were super pleased with Kragnes Family Farm. We were foiled at the public campground so were scrambling for a place to stay. The site was spacious, well kept and we could even have a fire at the site (firewood and kindling available for a small fee; venmo made it easy). The composting toilet was totally adequate and there was a good handwashing station. Bonus was the gorgeous veggies at their farm stand - very reasonably priced. Would totally stay there again!

Weekend Trip to North Eagle Haven @ Mount Baker

We absolutely loved our stay at this cute and cozy cabin!!! It was an ideal spot to stay, to enjoy spectacular fall color hikes! The cabin was nicely furnished with a comfortable queen sized bed, the beautiful bathroom was clean and newly updated, and there was a charming sauna to enjoy! Also, for those that love mountain scenery and sleeping under the stars, there was plenty of room for tent camping! Heather was amazing, was extremely pleasant and easy to communicate with, and quickly answered any questions we had! Everything was fantastic! We had a wonderful stay! The campsite was absolutely wonderful and very well maintained. Everything we needed was available and thoughtfully arranged. A special mention to the host, Michael, who was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. He managed everything perfectly and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, we had to leave halfway through our stay due to an unexpected emergency, but we definitely plan to come back again. Even though our stay was cut short, we had a great experience overall. Highly recommended
