Our stay was absolutely lovely! Very private, with patches of sunlight through the trees. The view is every bit as nice as the pictures - probably nicer. The fence guarding the riverbank is not all that nice, but it's nice to have it there to catch anything wayward - the bank is too dangerous to be on, though only five or six feet high. We were lucky enough to have no one nearby so we had a forest and a river all to ourselves. Other campers we met were very nice, and we heard nothing at night - except for the river and nature, of course. No services were available for temporary renters (like us), but there was river water in a large tank we carried back to our site. We will definitely be back to Deborah's.

So awesome!! Our family had the best time and the space was beyond amazing. We loved being able to visit all the animals, and everything was so welcoming and beautiful. Plus Leah and her family were all so nice and let us know about how the farm is run, all the animals, and all the things to do in the area. I already want to come back to ride the Vedder bike trail and swim in the river. This was such a gem in every way.

My son and his friend had such a fantastic time staying at Brent and Sherri’s campsite! From the very start, Sherri and Brent were incredibly helpful, friendly, and extremely accommodating. Their communication was amazing — always quick to respond and willing to answer any questions. They truly went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The boys especially loved having kayaks available to rent, which became one of the highlights of their trip. They had so much fun out on the water. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out, and my son couldn’t stop talking about how great it was. I would 100% recommend staying at Hayward Farms, we will definitely be booking with them again. Thanks again for everything !

Kind host, isolated campsite with good distance to other ones (30m+), decent outdoor eco washroom, access to amazing lake, koyark pad board and life vests available, 10 minutes driving to gas station and Tim Hortons.... What else do you need? Oh, no need to rush in to book like for public campsite. I will come back every year.

We had an amazing time staying on the farm! From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly polite and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The campsite itself was absolutely massive plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy the peaceful countryside. It was the perfect spot for a quiet getaway, and we loved being surrounded by nature. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spacious, friendly place to camp.

We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

For the adventurous, the area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs, hiking, and mountain biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers the best of both worlds. ATV's can go directly out of our gate & are idle in - idle out. Your QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pet is welcome as long as you pick up after them. LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights. CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times! Some sites are Adults only (a minimum of 19 yrs) due to sharp drop offs to the river and undercut banks that would be unsafe for children. FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full. Firewood is available between 8 AM and 8 PM. BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens. Our free-range kind and gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them. Nestled in the pristine Nahatlatch Valley between the Nahatlatch River and Fraser River. Washtock Family Campground offers rustic camping from tents to RVs. We are an ATV friendly campground with ride in ride out accessibility. The campground offers pull through RV Sites with non-potable water and septic connections. We are off grid so we have no power/electricity connections but allow generators. We have space for big groups or just a quick get away for two, we can accommodate you. We have flush toilets and outhouses as well as a hot shower for guest use. We have a small store on site with your regular camping goodies, Ice, seasonal vegetable, as well as farm fresh eggs and all natural free range beef from our farm. We are located 13km north of Northbend which is across the river from Boston Bar BC. Once you reach Boston Bar you will Turn left at the Esso and cross 2 sets of railroad tracks bringing you into Northbend, from Northbend there is about 6km of paved road after that there is 6km of gravel road until you reach our campground. Past our campground is the beautiful Nahatlatch provincial Park which contains Francis lake, Hanna Lake and Nahatlatch Lake. The lakes offer an abundance of activities such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and paddle boarding. The first lake is about a 15-20 min drive again on gravel road. 2 wheel drive accessible until 21km on the forest service Road after 21km you will need a 4x4, if you plan to travel to Grizzly falls or the 3rd Lake. Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, and more! The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here. We look forward to hosting you!

Our lake belongs to the beavers and ducks more than the humans. It’s an amazing place to watch, while swimming is best done at the river, a 5min drive away or half hour walk. A hike through the woods affords many opportunities to discover secret spots carved out of the wilderness with private views of the lake and surrounding properties. The rare wildlife around includes bobcats, bears, cougars, deer, elk and the occasional wolf. Ermine, rabbits and grouse are also common sightings. We have 2 dogs and appreciate a chance to introduce them to your dogs so they understand you’re authorized visitors, once you’ve settled in and your animals are comfortable.
